"Get the phone across to Grandma." I told the maid in charge of my grandma over the phone.
The decision to call my grandma started when I found out who attacked Alaina. The issue with my grandma buying my mother's shares was still unresolved, and now I was determined to take it seriously and uncover the truth behind it.
The detective was still working on the case, and although the evidence pointed out that my mother had willingly sold her shares. I couldn't bring myself to believe she would have done that by choice. I thought about the fact that it had also been proven that she was indeed in debt.
