Chozen stood outside her door for a moment, listening as she closed the door. He could hear her sigh and yawn through the wood.
He let out a small chuckle before turning and walking away. He couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that he had gotten her to agree not to flirt with any other men.
As Chozen walked away, he couldn't stop thinking about Isabella. Her feisty attitude and strong will had always intrigued him but now there was something else too. Something new.
The fact that she had slapped him earlier still stung his cheek slightly but it also made him admire how fiery and passionate she was.
As Chozen lay in bed that night, he couldn't shake the thoughts of Isabella from his mind. He kept replaying their conversation over and over again in his head.
He knew he had been possessive and arrogant earlier but he hadn't been able to help himself. Seeing her talking to other men made him feel a sense of jealousy and protectiveness that he had never felt before.
As he lay in bed, he couldn't help but wonder why she had such an effect on him. Why was it that no other woman had ever made him feel this way?
He tossed and turned for what felt like hours, unable to fall asleep as his thoughts continued to swirl around Isabella.
As Chozen lay in bed, his mind racing with thoughts of Isabella and the events that had taken place earlier.
He knew he should apologize to her for his behavior but at the same time he couldn't help feeling a sense of possessiveness over her.
He rolled over onto his side and let out a frustrated sigh. He knew that things between them were complicated now, but he couldn't deny the attraction he felt towards her.
As Chozen lay there, his thoughts continued to swirl through his mind. He tried to tell himself that he was being irrational and possessive but deep down he knew it was more than that.
He had always been drawn to strong-willed women, and Isabella's feisty attitude only made her even more appealing.
He knew that he should probably try to stay away from her for now but he couldn't help feeling drawn to her like a moth to a flame. As much as he tried to deny it, there was something about her that made him feel alive in ways he hadn't felt before. It made Chozen feel like he wanted to spoil Isabella make her be his queen and make sure she gets whatever she wants. He wanted to know her habits her mood swings, what she liked didn't like. The only thing he dislike is the fact she had three kids with another man but his no matter his son Felix came from another woman but that shouldn't change.
As the hours ticked by, Chozen's thoughts became more and more consumed with Isabella.
He found himself imagining her face, her voice, the way she had looked at him earlier. He couldn't get her out of his head no matter how hard he tried.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the first light of dawn began to peek through the curtains.
As the sun began to rise, Chozen sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes tiredly.
He knew he hadn't gotten much sleep but thoughts of Isabella had kept him awake all night.
He got out of bed and walked over to the window, staring out at the dawning sky for a moment before letting out a weary sigh.
As the morning light streamed into the room, Chozen couldn't shake off his thoughts about Isabella.
He knew that he needed to see her again, even if just for a moment. He couldn't understand why she had such an effect on him but it was driving him crazy.
He got dressed quickly and left his room quietly, heading towards Isabella's door. But he notice she was at the lobby she looked like she just finished her run. She was wearing leggings, sport brat and light jacket. Chozen clenched his jaw.
Isabella was stretching after her run when she suddenly became aware of a pair of eyes on her. She looked up and saw Chozen standing nearby, watching her intently.
She froze for a moment as their eyes met and she felt her heart skip a beat. She had hoped never to see him again but there he was, looking just as handsome and infuriating as ever.
"What do you want?" she said coldly, trying hard not to show how flustered she was feeling.
Chozen was taken aback by her cold tone but he tried not to show it.
"I just wanted to talk," he said quietly.
He took a step closer to her, his eyes fixed on hers.
"Can we go somewhere more private?"
"No I am tired and I am going to bed," Isabella said sharply.
Chozen's expression darkened at her sharp tone.
"Please," he said quietly.
"I just need a few minutes of your time."
He took another step closer to her, his eyes pleading.
"It's important."
"Will you feed me breakfast?" Isabella asked Chozen?
Chozen was caught off guard by her question but he quickly composed himself.
"Of course," he said with a nod.
"I'll feed you breakfast."
He gestured towards the kitchen.
"Come on, let's go eat."
Isabella hesitated for a moment, still feeling a bit wary of him after their argument earlier. But her stomach growled loudly and she realized how hungry she was.
"Fine," she said reluctantly.
"But only because I'm starving."
Chozen chuckled again, amused by the sound of her stomach growling.
"Come on then," he said with a smirk.
"Let's go find something to eat."
He started walking towards the kitchen and gestured for her to follow him.
"So this is the private lobby so quiet," Isabella mumbled.
Chozen nodded as they walked into the kitchen.
"It is," he said quietly.
"No one else is awake yet so we have the place all to ourselves."
He glanced over at Isabella, taking in her disheveled appearance from her run.
Isabella tried to smooth down her hair as Chozen looked at her. She was still slightly out of breath from her run.
"What?" she asked self-consciously.
"Do I look like a mess?"
Chozen shook his head, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
"No," he said quietly.
"You look beautiful."
The word slipped out before he could stop himself and for a moment he looked surprised by what he had just said.
"Oh? Thanks I guess?" Isabella muttered. She should also get food her three kids.
As Isabella walked through the kitchen, she couldn't help but notice that it was surprisingly quiet. Usually there were at least a few people around at this time of day, but today it seemed like everyone had vanished.
She poured herself a cup of coffee and leaned against the countertop, taking a sip. The caffeine hit her system and she felt more awake.
Chozen walked over to Isabella and grabbed a fluffy pancake he then cleared his throat when Isabella turned around she opened her mouth to say something but a fork was shoved in Isabella mouth. Chozen found Isabella extremely cute.
Isabella's eyes widened in surprise as Chozen suddenly shoved a forkful of pancakes into her mouth.
She chewed and swallowed quickly before looking up at him with a raised eyebrow.
"What was that for?" she asked, trying to sound annoyed but secretly enjoying the taste of the pancakes.
Chozen chuckled at the look on Isabella's face.
"You looked hungry," he said simply, reaching for another pancake.
He placed it on a plate and handed it to her.
"Eat up," he said with a smile.
"You need your energy."
Isabella accepted the plate with a grateful nod, taking another bite of the pancakes. She had to admit, they were delicious.
"Thanks," she said quietly, still feeling a bit flustered from the way he had fed her earlier.
She tried not to make eye contact with him but couldn't help stealing glances at him every now and then.
Chozen watched as Isabella ate the pancakes, a small smile playing on his lips.
He couldn't help but notice how her hair was still slightly disheveled from her run and how she kept stealing glances at him.
Isabella Lexeni phone started ringing and the holographic screen appeared in front of her. She pushed the green button it wasn't FaceTime so it didn't matter.
"Hello."
