"Shouldn't you be at the party? Or did I storm your foot to hard to stand straight?" Isabella asked with a sneer.
Chozen chuckled at Isabella's words, amused by her feisty attitude.
"I could say the same thing about you," he replied with a smirk.
"You sure did put me in my place earlier."
He leaned against the doorframe and looked down at her.
Isabella raised an eyebrow at Chozen's smirk and crossed her arms over her chest. She wasn't going to let him get the upper hand so easily.
"You know, I could have done much worse than that," she said with a hint of warning in her voice.
She tilted her head slightly as she looked up at him.
Chozen chuckled again, clearly enjoying the banter between them.
"I have no doubt about that," he said with a smirk.
He took a step closer to her, invading her personal space just slightly.
Isabella felt a shiver run down her spine as Chozen stepped closer to her. She could feel his presence, strong and masculine.
She held her ground though, refusing to back down from the challenge in his eyes.
Chozen leaned in closer, his face just inches away from hers.
"You know," he said quietly,
"I've been thinking about you all night."
His voice was low and husky, sending a shiver down Isabella's spine again.
Isabella felt her heart skip a beat at Chozen's words. She could feel his breath on her face and it was driving her crazy.
"Y-you have?" she managed to stammer out, trying desperately not to show how flustered she was getting.
Chozen chuckled again, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on her.
"Yeah," he said quietly.
"I can't get you out of my head."
He lifted his hand and gently traced a finger along her jawline, sending another shiver down her spine.
Isabella's heart was racing now. She could feel the heat rising in her cheeks as Chozen continued to touch her face.
"Why?" she managed to whisper, her voice shaky.
"Why can't you get me out of your head?"
Chozen's expression softened as he looked at her.
"Because you're different from anyone I've ever met," he said quietly.
"You're strong and smart and beautiful."
He gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before continuing.
"And I find myself drawn to you like a moth to a flame."
"Well you are a poison, go away," Isabella whispered yelled.
"Bell I have something to talk you about," Chozen said.
Isabella's attention was immediately drawn to Chozen. She could tell from the tone of his voice that it was something serious.
"What is it?" she asked, her voice slightly trembling with worry.
Chozen's expression was serious as he spoke.
"Don't flirt with other man."
Isabella dropped her mouth is that what's the important thing he wanted to tell her!?
Isabella's eyes widened in surprise at Chozen's words.
"Excuse me?" she said, her voice rising slightly.
"What do you mean don't flirt with other men? I can talk to whoever I want."
Chozen's expression darkened as he stepped closer to her, his eyes narrowing.
"I don't want you talking to other men or flirting with them."
"CHOZEN!" Isabella shouted this man is crazy!
Chozen didn't back down. In fact, he stepped even closer to her, his body almost touching hers.
"I'm serious," he said firmly.
"I don't want you talking to other men or flirting with them."
He reached out and gently grasped her chin in his hand, forcing her to look at him.
Isabella's heart was racing again, but this time it wasn't from excitement or attraction. It was from anger.
"You can't tell me who I can talk to," she said firmly, trying to pull away from his grip on her chin.
But Chozen held onto her tightly, refusing to let go.
Chozen's grip on her chin tightened slightly as he leaned in even closer, his face just inches away from hers.
"I can and I will," he said firmly.
"You are mine."
Isabella was stunned at his words. Mine?! What is this man saying!?
Isabella's heart was racing in her chest as Chozen continued to hold onto her chin, his grip firm and possessive. She tried to pull away but his hold was too strong.
"What do you mean I'm yours?" she managed to say, her voice was deadly cold.
Chozen chuckled darkly as he continued to hold onto Isabella's chin.
"You heard me," he said firmly.
"You're mine."
His grip tightened slightly as he spoke.
"And I don't like sharing what's mine."
Isabella's eyes blazed with anger at Chozen's words. How dare him! Who did he think he was!? King!? Emperor!? A God!? Isabella raised her hand and slapped him across the face.
Felix, Raven, and Chloe woke up but they gaped when they saw their parents but it didn't look good it seems like for them to fall in love it has gone back to the beginning once again.
Chozen's head snapped to the side as Isabella slapped him across the face. He was stunned for a moment, his hand instinctively going up to touch his stinging cheek.
He looked back at her, his eyes narrowing in anger. He couldn't believe that she had just slapped him.
Isabella was shaking with anger and adrenaline as she stared at Chozen, her eyes blazing with fury.
"How dare you!" she hissed.
"You can't just tell me who I belong to!"
She took a step back from him, trying to put some distance between them.
Isabella turned around and walked away from Chozen. She couldn't believe how arrogant and possessive he was. Who did he think he was!?
Chozen watched as Isabella walked away from him, his eyes filled with anger and frustration. He couldn't believe that she had just slapped him like that.
"Don't walk away from me!" he shouted after her.
He took a step forward, intending to follow her but then he caught sight of three kids who hidden behind so none of their secrets would be found. Isabella blocked his view.
Isabella turned around to face Chozen again. Her eyes were filled with anger and defiance.
"You need to back off," she said firmly.
She took a step forward so that she was standing directly in front of him.
"And don't you dare try and follow me."
"Fine, fine, but don't go flirting with other men," Chozen said and he walked off this guy is too much!
"Sis, it seems like daddy and mommy hate each other even more it will be harder to fall in love," Chloe said.
"Shhh," Raven whispered to her sister Chloe, Felix sighed dad is such a fool!
Isabella looked at Chozen, her eyes narrowing in annoyance.
"What do you want?" she asked coldly.
"I thought I made it clear earlier that I don't want anything to do with you."
Chozen's expression darkened at her cold tone. He could see the anger in her eyes and it stung him more than he cared to admit.
"I know you did," he said quietly.
"But this is important."
He paused for a moment, trying to find the right words.
Isabella crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow at him.
"Well?" she said impatiently.
"What is it that's so important?"
She was still seething with anger but curiosity had gotten the better of her.
Chozen took a deep breath before speaking again.
"I just wanted to apologize for what I said earlier," he said quietly.
"I know I was being possessive and arrogant, and that's not okay."
He looked down at the ground as he spoke, avoiding her gaze.
Isabella was surprised by his apology. She hadn't expected him to say sorry, especially not after the way he'd acted earlier.
"Alright goodnight Mr. Beaufort I forgive you."
Felix dropped his mouth he has lived with that man for five years and he has never seen him apologize to another other then his own parents other then that Chozen apologizing is beyond comprehension.
Chozen chuckled softly.
"Don't look so surprised," he said with a smirk.
"I'm not completely heartless."
He looked back at Isabella and his expression softened slightly.
Isabella was still a little stunned by his apology, but she tried to hide it. She didn't want him to see how much his words had affected her.
"It's… appreciate," she said quietly.
"I didn't expect you to apologize."
"I will only do it for you now I am going to bed and you better keep your promise to not flirt with any man."
