I picked up my luggage to take back into our new home, that's when I saw... CHRISTOPHER?! blinked several times as I saw Christopher looking back at me. What is he doing here?!
I dropped my luggage, picked up my jaw, strutted to him and pulled him by the arm...
"What are you doing here?!"
He just smirked, "Well, well, if it isn't my donkey. Fate loves seeing us together don't you think?"
I was about to shout at him when my mom interrupted...
"Chelsea! Come help me—" she froze at the sight of me holding Christopher's arm. I immediately let go, but the damage is already done.
Christopher sensed the awkwardness but that made him more excited, "You must be Chelsea's mom, nice to finally meet you!" He extended his hand for a hand shake and pulled an innocent smile that made me gag.
Without hesitation my mother squealed, "Oh my! My future son-in-law is none other than the son of the 4 most richest man in the country! It is an absolute pleasure to meet you, p-please, come inside and join us, I have baked some cookies and I would definitely love to share them with my son-in-law!"
Wait?! Son-in-law?! Mom knows this asshole?! I facepalm my forehead as Christopher's grin widened and he shook my mother's hand and followed her inside! Why is my life like this!
