The weekend, at last, and I'm stuck here... Washing my bag and sun drying my books on the table by the window, listening to my mother, father and older brother go on and on about this new house we were going to live in tomorrow. Even a new neighborhood... Great... Just great, I don't even get why they want me to be closer to school, I mean, they can just drive me to school and back, it's not that hard.
My older brother, Sam, walked into the bathroom to find me scrubbing my bag in the bathtub. He was confused but didn't question me much...
"Hey, rat, have you started packing for tomorrow?"
He's so annoying, and I answer, frustrated, "No"
He leans against the door frame of the bathroom and just stares at me.
Noticing this, I thought he was suspecting something in school is off, so I paused and looked up at him, frowning slightly, " What?" I know he wants to say something, but I just don't know what.
He looks at me, as if trying to read me, "Did something happen at school lately? Boyfriend? Crush? Ex? Bully?"
I frowned even more, "Why would you think that."
"Why can't I think that when your books are practically staring into the sun's core and you're suddenly washing your bag?" He pushes off the frame and walks away, leaving me with my thoughts, thank God he didn't push this further because I don't want drama, I just know that if I tell him... He'll tell our parents and they're going to be mad and interrogate me.
