As the notification materialized in front of him, a glowing cascade of light enveloped the goblin village. All named goblins began to shine, their forms writhing as they underwent powerful transformations. The named Hobgoblins swelled with new strength, morphing into Orcs.

Among them, a singular brilliance stood out. Goban, the largest and most loyal of the hobgoblins, was enveloped in a vivid, fiery crimson glow that towered over the others. His guttural scream echoed, and the radiant energy drew everyone's attention.

[System Message:]

[Special Evolution Chance Activated!]

[Rare Variant Unlocked: Oni Goblin.]

[Traits: Gigantic Strength, Infernal Aura, Fear Inducement.]

The light dispersed with an explosive shockwave, leaving Goban at its epicenter. His body had expanded, towering a full head and shoulders above even the newly formed Orcs. Sharp tusks jutted from his jaw, and two short, menacing horns curled from his forehead. His crimson eyes gleamed with raw power, while his dark red skin rippled with muscle and faint black tribal markings.

Leon stepped forward from the shadows.

The newly evolved Orcs stood tall. Almost in unison, they slammed a fist over their hearts.

"Master!"

Behind them, the lesser goblins stood wide-eyed, trembling in awe and confusion. Some remained frozen, their hands quaking at their sides. Others whispered hesitantly, trying to make sense of the shocking transformation before their eyes.

"H-how did they grow so big?"

"This… This isn't normal. They were just like us! Exactly like us!"

"But look at them now! They're giants!"

At the center of it all, Goban, now the towering Oni Goblin, knelt before Leon. His dark red skin faintly glowed in the firelight, the curled horns atop his forehead casting sharp, intimidating shadows. Despite his monstrous size and ferocity, Goban lowered his head reverently.

"Master," Goban rumbled, his deep voice resonating like distant thunder. "I evolved... thanks to you."

Leon scratched the back of his head, struggling to mask his astonishment at Goban's transformation. He waved a dismissive hand toward the kneeling Oni Goblin, his tone casual. "You don't need to do that bowing thing every time," Leon said. "It looks… weird. I mean, you're, what, seven or eight feet tall now? Watching someone your size bowing to me feels off."

Goban hesitated but straightened up, standing to his full height. Towering over everyone in the vicinity, he loomed like a walking mountain. Leon glanced up at him, still processing the change. Just hours ago, Goban had barely reached four feet tall. Now, he was a terrifying figure of raw power, with his presence alone exuding dominance.

As Leon was still taking it all in, a notification flashed before his eyes.

[Tribe Population Update]

Orcs: 23

Goblins: 43

Oni Goblin: 1

Humans: 9

Leon studied the data briefly before turning his attention back to the scene before him. It was a remarkable improvement for the tribe. With 23 Orcs under his command.

"With numbers and power like this," Leon muttered to himself, "no one's going to dare mess with us."

Goban stepped forward, his enormous figure radiating authority, yet his reverence for Leon was unmistakable. His crimson eyes scanned the crowd of goblins from the former village, many still cowering or muttering in disbelief at what had occurred.

Raising a massive hand, Goban's voice boomed across the gathering. "Listen, all of you!" He gestured to Leon, standing calmly yet commanding attention. "This is Master Leon—the one who saved me and made this possible. Without him, we would still be weak, nothing but prey for those stronger than us!"

The goblins murmured nervously, exchanging uncertain glances. Some of them, particularly the ones who had lived under the oppressive rule of the now-dead Orc chieftain, seemed skeptical.

Goban continued. "You saw it yourself. Now, every one of us who follows him is stronger than before. Look at the Orcs they were normal goblins just some days ago! Look at me!" He spread his arms wide, his towering form a testament to the strength bestowed by following Leon. "This is what happens when you serve him with loyalty!"
