Chapter 11 - The President And The Bullied Girl Are Equal

Metal sounds colliding with one another.

Wind breezes are becoming stronger as time passes.

The surroundings become silent.

A drop of water falls into the pond.

Once more, the clashing sound of metals can be heard.

Two girls are fighting near a park pond.

Sparks fly from their weapons as they collide.

Rhealyn and Ashley both have no sweat on their foreheads.

"Firebolt!"

A ball of fire appears on the palm of Rhealyn.

Ashley dodge as soon as she saw her throw it.

The floor didn't get destroyed by the fireball but it has a burn mark.

"Hail"

Ashley raise her hands.

Rhealyn jump sideward before those little ice touch her.

The statue was covered in ice but it immediately melt.

Magic and Sword

An all-out battle against an equal opponent.

They understand that they cannot hurt each other because their abilities are equal, but they continue to fight until their rage subsides.

Ashley still wanted to kill her, and so did Rhealyn, but they were both exhausted.

Finally, they ask themselves what the hell they are doing now.

Killing each other would not benefit or satisfy Wrine in any way.

"Thank you for your teaching, senior."

Rhealyn bowed.

(Ashley's PoV)

So you intend to take that route.

I could not help but sigh at how quickly she thought about this.

With this, we can get out of this awkward situation.

"You are welcome. If you want to talk to me about something, you can find me in the student council room."

I smile at her.

Act naturally, as if she is not a hateful character.

(Rhealyn's pov)

Not going to lie, this bitch is a genius.

She recognized my intention right away.

Others would not understand it right away because their minds are too preoccupied with fighting, or they will insist on fighting because their pride is at stake.

Anyway, this is much better, but if she lets down her guard, I will kill her.

(3rd pov)

They smile at each other, but if an outsider saw these girls right now, they would shiver in terror because of how frightening they are.

A dragon and a demon.

Strangers could see an illusion behind the two girls.

However, it appears that they are not the only ones who remain outside during this night.

Wrine is walking through the park.

He arrived after the battle, so he had not heard any fighting nearby.

(Wrine's Pov)

I do not know the specifics because it came from a dream, but I recall an incident that occurred around the park after a month.

A few missing people have been reported, and they all had the same connection: they walked in the park at night but never left.

The park is a shortcut to another area, so it is understandable that some people would rather walk here than pay for a bus.

One night, a student walks in, knowing about the incident, but he is able to leave and report what happened.

A mutated beast is hiding beneath the pond.

The student was able to defeat it because it is still not fully developed.

After the incident was resolved, the student became stronger than his peers.

When I heard this rumor, I realized he was lucky and discovered a treasure.

I already changed my future with Ashley and Rhealyn, so I might as well change this timeline.

I am sorry, Michael.

Your father is not as kind as you think.

Although I want to see you and become my child again, I...

Rhealyn and I are not meant to be together in this timeline.

It hurts, of course, because I know she is my wife, but that has never happened.

I despise this feeling.

These dreams are making me feel bad.

I am Ashley's husband, but this is also true for Rhealyn.

I occasionally get the urge to see Ashley.

It is easy for Ashley because she is currently my girlfriend, but for Rhealyn, no.

I am aware of her strong feelings for me and wanted to give her my full attention, but I have already rejected her, so move on, Wrine.

Unfortunately, I cannot.

I despise this feeling.

Anyway, I shook my head and continued looking around the pond, but I saw nothing.

I may as well go home today.

I think I am too early—

The pond's water burst.

My clothes were about to get wet, but I stepped back.

Something emerged from the pond, and I saw... and I saw a…

Wait a minute, something is wrong with my eyes, but is that a freaking dog with a sword in its mouth?
