Entering the academy building I took an unusual turn that I wouldn't normally do and avoided the hallway that lead to the A-class.
Walking down the halls I soon reached my new classroom ,which had a golden sign above the door that had the words "Elite Class" engraved on it, twisting the door handle I pushed open the door and entered the new classroom.
The Elite Class is a class comprised of all the ten talents decided in the battles the occurred yesterday. The class also has five of honorary students who were left in due to other classified reasons.
All in all, the class is made up of the strongest or those who hold the most potential.
The class door quietly closed behind me as I went on my way and took a seat near the right middle of the classroom furthest away from the window ,that let in rays of sunshine, on the left side.
I happened to be the only one in the class besides the teacher who I also just so happened to recognize as Jesica, the Vice Chairman.
Not long after I entered other students began entering the class as well, I knew most of them but some I didn't know at all.
About two minutes later all the Elite Class students had come and Jesica started the class.
"As you already know there are three types of Shadow Demon: A normal Shadow Demon, which is also the most common, a Hazard Demon which is a little rare to have, and a Fatal Demon which only one person ever has...."
"Originally, before the Aquinox Realm, people had to go through intense meditation to obtain and increase their energy which would therefore make you and your Shadow Demon even more powerful but that took a lot of time, around ten times more than it takes today..."
"And most people didn't have that much time which was why in the past having a Shadow demon was a rarity and those who did have one quickly rose to power, but when the Aquinox Realm came that process was sped up and given to all those who were willing to take their chances."
"The problem with that though is that you no longer spend as much time perfecting your meditation method nor are you as in tone with your shadow demon nor do you know how to properly utilize the energy within your body to it's fullest."
"So that's what I will be teaching you all until it's been engraved in your body."
Jesica finally stopped moving her mouth and allowed the students to process all the information she had said.
"Now follow me." Jesica said as she moved out the door and moved her hand in an ushering way.

15 students sat quietly with their legs crossed, attempting to replicate their teacher.
We practiced the meditation our teacher, Jesica, had shown us whilst sitting legs crossed in a small courtyard, full of grass and flowers, outside the academies main building.
I sat with my eyes closed similarly to the other students around me.
We were all tasked with trying to absorb the energy in the atmosphere, but on earth there is a lot less energy than on the Aquinox Realm which already made it had to get any energy but compile that with the fact that there were 14 other students all trying to also obtain energy made it even harder.
We all stayed in the same mediation position and tried to absorb energy until around two hours later when Jesica told us we could stop.
The two hour long non-stop meditation left some mentally fatigued but not by much so Jesica decided it was time to move onto the next part of our class.
She led us to the corner of the courtyard where there were exactly 15 bows, 15 targets and now 15 students.
"You will be using your Shadow demon to make it shoot the bow and arrow and hit the bullseye five times in a row at least. This will require precise control over your shadow demon so I wish you the best of luck." Jessica said.
Jesica then walked up to Floyd and asked him a few questions that I couldn't hear.
Summoning my shadow demon I commanded it to take up the bow and arrow and then shoot it at the bullseye on the target.
Following my command my shadow demon picked up the bow and arrow and then pulled back on the string and completely broke the bow string.
'Ah control.'
My shadow demon then dropped the broken bow, but after a few seconds the bow brought itself back together again and looked as good as new.
I again commanded my shadow demon to shoot the bow and arrow but this time be a lot more delicate when pulling back.
Following my words to the spot my shadow demon then shot the arrow and it was sent soaring away a whopping 2 inches away.
'That's not enough control, too delicate.'
I tried again and then another problem arose, then again and then another, and another, and another.
The other students also faced the same problems as me except for three of them, Anastasia, Floyd, and Jillton.
Anastasia seemed to have already mastered it and so she did it first try and was exempt from having to do it over and over, Floyd didn't seem to have a Shadow demon or something related to it was wrong so he just couldn't do it, Jillton had been doing the training but easily adapted so quickly to it that on his third try he had already got it down.
Glancing to my left a familiar face came into view, Clair, the girl Floyd had sent flying before class around a week ago.
She was also struggling to properly control her shadow demon to make it correctly hit the bullseye.
Paying her no mind any longer I focused in my practice and started making leaps and bounds.
30 minutes later I had finally hit the bullseye five times in a row and could stop training.
I felt a wash of relief as I sat down and sent my shadow demon back into my shadow.
Taking a break I decided to sit down on the ground and wait for Jesica to tell me what exactly I had to do next.
Someone suddenly sat down next to me and let out a heavy puff.
