In the underworld:
The magics master was quite young, Elara thought to herself quietly as she entered the magics masters temple.
She had never been here before because her and Ozirus had never had any problems with their magic in the past.
The magics master appeared to be only about 20 years of age and was a foxoid with bright gold fur and long ears.
"Ah, Elara. What brings you here today?" He asked.
"This is very urgent. The gates, the ones that keep the deceased humans trapped here in the underworld, it seems to be weakening. The humans are crowded around it as if the magic can barely hold them in."
"I have seen this, this phenomenon has not occurred in over a megaannum. Your families magic as a whole is weakening."
"I don't understand." Elara countered. "We banished my son, that was supposed to stop the magic from behaving this way!"
"That unfortunately isn't true my lady, this sickness, this plague that is affecting you. It has infected all of you. There is no saying how long the gates will stay closed with the pace your families magic is declining."
"Please! Is there any way to prevent this from happening?" Elara was on the verge of tears now.
"I am so sorry, this has never happened before, throughout al my studies, I have never heard about the magically-blessed family losing their magic. I don't see much hope, and believe me, if those gates open up." He paused for a moment. "All hell will break lose."
