I thought about her as I fell asleep.
The next day
As I woke up , I headed down after freshen up and met my sister at the table.
"Someone's in a good mood", she said with a smile.
I smiled too as I took my seat.
" Why do you say that,"I asked.
"Well the atmosphere around you is different," she said.
I and my sister were close ,so I decided to tell her .
"Oh really, maybe that's because I met someone" ,I said.
"...YOU MET SOMEONE!!!", she exclaimed.
" Why are you surprised ",I asked.
" Because you never talk about meeting anyone ",she said still shocked.
" Your always so boring and gloomy, not interested in anyone ",she added.
" Well I've always be interested in her, but just didn't show it",I said .
"She must be really pretty for you to like her", she teased with a smile.
" Not just pretty ,but smart too", I said proudly.
"Mom!, Luke has finally met someone", she shouted to my mom.
"Alright I'm of to school then", I said as I tried to escape and quickly left the house.
As I arrived at school, people looked at me and whispered to themselves. Even though that always happens, today was different. Then a girl walked up to me , smiled then asked me
" Yesterday, we all saw you carry Sauna on your bike",she said
"Yeah ,so " I asked
"You've never done that before, why her, she's just a nobody", she said again.
I got a little angry at what she said.
" if not her then who, you, and also what right do you have to call her a nobody ,you can only dream to be her."I said bluntly and angrily.
With that I walked away without looking back.
As I entered class, she was already there. My eyes met her beautiful ones, but she immediately looked away a little shy.
I smiled as I took my seat about two seats away from her.
I knew she liked me ,but was just too scared to look at me.
As I continued to think, a guy walked up to her, and took a seat by her, then started to talk to her.
It made me really annoyed. As I watched them my blood began to boil, just when I couldn't take it anymore, the teacher walked in and we all took our seat.
The whole of that day, he was around her.
After school, she hurriedly packed up ,as if trying to avoid something, but I was quicker.
I walked up to her.
"I said I'll give you a ride home today", I said with a slight smile.
She froze, then spoke up.
".. It fine, I can just walk....."
Before she could finish, I held her hand and pulled her along. She just followed me, as if surprised ,her eyes on my hand holding hers .
As I rode, I asked her
"What did that guy want from you", I asked, still angry
" Oh, his name is Fred, he said he'd like us to be friends ",she said slowly.
" ..and...", I asked.
"And I agreed", she finished.
" I think you should stay away from him",I said
"Why ,he is fun, and why do you care so much, you don't even know him", she said, annoyed
" Just stay away from him",I said.
Of course I knew him ,he was part of those boys who made that stupid bet.
I dropped her home and after clearing a few things in our project, I headed home.
