Chapter 7 - Reaper Horse Soul Avatar

After a while, Xue Fang heard a booming voice from afar, calling everyone's attention.

"His Lordship has arrived"

Just like anyone else, Xue Fang looked afar and saw a mysterious carriage approaching them at steady and gracious speed from the wood clearings, beside the carriage were people sitting on some mysterious mounts.

Immediately, Xue Fang recognized the mounts as Soul Avatars. After all, the location was undeveloped by the government. Although there was little distance to traverse on foot to get there from developed areas in the city, they still needed to find alternative means of travel, given that no public mode of transportation operated in the area due to its undeveloped state. Only the wealthy, with access to private jets or choppers, could bypass this inconvenience. Since these individuals were of elite status, they had already secured Soul Avatars capable of providing swift and efficient transportation while enjoying the beautiful scene of the landscape during their journey.

Xue Fang was suddenly filled with amazement at the sight of the carriage.

In the place of horses, the carriage was pulled by two terrifying and giant ants, each as tall as a man, with a dark shadowy aura swirling around them, their eyes reflecting nothing less than ill intent even though they were used as mounts.

This was the first time Xue Fang would see a Soul avatar in reality, since the government had banned their uses in public given the aura they exude, a field of energy that could accumulate and damage technology. But since it was being used to transverse an undeveloped area, it wasn't a violation.

"As expected, since Soul avatars are the incarnation of slain supernaturals, they would harbor nothing but ill intent, however, they are bound to humans as their summon, and they would always do the owner's bidding"

Xue Fang's gaze landed on the Soul avatars carrying some officials beside the carriage, he had already guessed who was in the carriage.

It was none other than Instinct, the exam proctor, a Baron-level hunter, one who had earned the noble status in the human world in his numerous claiming of Baron-level realms and their realmstones in the HighRealms, preventing further spawning of Supernaturals into different human planets by their Soul Rulers. One of humanity's heroes.

The Soul avatars carrying the officials were in the form of undead horses, however, looking carefully at them, they didn't exude their aura, but the silvery aura formed a thick wall of transparent flesh that coated their skeleton frame, balancing the officials on them greatly.

The only place where the silvery shadowy aura freely swirled was their mane, writhing and flowing backward like smoke caught in a ghostly wind, adding a sinister elegance to their otherwise horrifying appearance.

"Aren't those the Reaper Horse race of Supernaturals"

"Reaper Horse race?"

"Really?"

"Yeah, my dad had seen them once, they are Baron-level supernaturals"

"It seemed your dad was lucky since he lived to tell the tale"

"What about the ants"

"Perhaps they are the Hades Ant race"

"Shut up! You are just making things up"

Almost everyone including Xue Fang was in awe at this otherworldly sight.

"Amazing!"

Xue Fang muttered.

A figure stepped down elegantly from the carriage onto the ground as if the very soil was beneath him by divine right while the officials on the Reaper Horse Soul avatar mirrored his action.

And immediately, the Soul avatars became nothing more than smoky ethereal fluid, drifting seamlessly into the beings of their owners while they remained unfazed.

The figure who stepped out of the carriage was a man in a black, elegant suit with matching shoes. He was checking the time on his watch, its parts crafted from some unknown silvery precious stones that seemed to catch the rays of sunlight, absorbing and reflecting them simultaneously.

Instinct, a Baron-level Hunter who had claimed many Baron-level realms in the HighRealms and had harvested vast resources from them, channeling these riches into expanding his business empire. His sole purpose in claiming realms was to amass resources, as he was a remarkable businessman with impeccable instincts, every realm he claimed was meticulously drained of resources.

Perhaps this incredible intuition was one of his high-level skills unlocked during his hunts. However, he was mostly known with his Instinct that stood out most, earned through feats that had made him legendary.

Rumor had it that if he chose to prioritize leveling up to King-Level Hunter, his instinct skill would evolve to Kinglevel, granting him the ability to predict the future seamlessly, however, it seemed he loved business more than leveling up and ascending noble status, thus, he had remained as a Baron-level Hunter for quite some time.

Instinct polished black shoes gleamed like obsidian as he began walking towards the entrants.

Suddenly, One of his minions came rushing towards him.

"Your Lordship!! The stock has risen by 10000%, you are indeed right!"

"And..., It was just at the time you predicted, 9 o'clock, on the dot!!"

The man cleared his throat, his eyes glinting as if his share was undeniable.

"Your instincts are always right!"

"Congratulations, your Lordship"

The others boomed, exchanging glances of happiness.

"What a great skill to unlock!"

Xue Fang's eyes widened, and his ears seemed to twitch at the sound of the percentage of the stock increment.

"What did I say"

Instinct voice boomed, "I would only get richer and eventually become the richest noble"

His gaze exuding a feeling of absolute confidence.

"Your Lordship, you are already the richest noble!!"

The others exclaimed in slight exasperation.

Instinct then turned back toward them.

"Make sure you change the stock to a stable stock before it starts to drop"

He paused and thought for a while.

"Use fifty percent of it to buy the one we talked about earlier, that is after you have traded it to a more stable stock"

"Don't forget to update the real estate holdings"

"Make sure the properties in the 7th Baron-level realm are included. And cross-check the energy crystal supply from the last realm I claimed. That shipment better not be delayed again."

"Understood?!"

"Yes, your Lordship!!"

The officials were scribbling and typing away like crazy!
