The inside was a large and long hallway, stretching as if till infinity, the only source of light were the small oil lamps placed by the far sides which kindled themselves with every step the entrants at the front took, their light was quite bright for oil lamps in a vast hallway as this.
"Perhaps it is because of how many there were"
If it were some group that first ventured into the tomb as at the time the oil lamps started kindling themselves with every step, one of them would have been spooked, however, Xue Fang could remember that it was the indifferent guy that first entered, and no sound was heard after that which means he wasn't overconfident.
Even for Xue Fang, stepping into a dark space and having one's first step trigger the sudden and eerie ignition of oil lamps lining the walls was enough to scare him for a moment.
Xue Fang noticed that the indifferent guy was the one leading at the front, while Rong Xia was behind him but he couldn't help but feel that the guy should be more conscious about the girl at his back, who knows what she could do.
"Am I that paranoid? She could be a brave person who would never stab someone's back"

Multiple thoughts were waging war inside Xue Fang's head, he was actually stuck to the side where he was assured that no one would sneak up to him and stab his back.

With his exception, the lowest level of body enhancement someone could unlock a skill was 20.
While Rong Xia with her presence assertive skill was in the front, The indifferent guy was way in front of her, and having scanned every other entrant, the highest level of their body enhancement was 15, this made Xue Fang feel his countermeasure was safe.
After walking a certain distance, they were yet to spot a single stone monster, Xue Fang started hearing some murmurs from the back which indicated that the groups were already bored.
"Do you think the proctor only mentioned stone monsters just to scare us?"
A girl left her group and went to a boy who looked somewhat confident and had a great physique, even taller than Xue Fang.
"They have started breaking the group formation and losing their guard"
Xue Fang looked at his side and saw the group.
"I hope we are lucky, perhaps this one is already cleared and they only want us to be on guard against nothing"
"Yeah, you are right, we have walked for some distance, and I could feel that we are closer to the farthest reach of the tomb"
Just then the group continued chatting but a frightened voice suddenly boomed.
"What...what is this?"
Xue Fang heard a slap, it was from the girl who left her group and went to stick with the muscular and confident guy, she just gave one of the boys in the muscular and tall guy's group a hot slap.
The sound echo reverberated within the tomb, prompting everyone to stop.
"Damn you! Don't scare me like that, it was just some human statues, perhaps the hero hunters who had died during the dark times, and you called yourself a man, getting this spooked by a human statue"
The boy held his cheek which was now red like a tomato, he was speechless.
Since the muscular boy's group was walking by the other side of the tomb wall, the girl was also close to the boy such that when the boy saw the statue and got spooked, the girl also instinctively threw herself at the muscular boy tall frame, clutching unto him like a life support even before knowing the cause of fear.
"Are these the stone monsters? They look like normal humanoid statues but with certain attributes"
"I know these statues, they are human forms of King-Level Supernaturals buried somewhere here and also had their true form in carvings outside"
People started checking the statues out.
A guy used his hand to caress the statues as he continued walking.
Xue Fang found the Horned Serpent Supernatural.
"Whoa, it is even more detailed in sculpture than in books, look at that shape, so these are the King-Level supernaturals who have cultivated human form"
"They are so beautiful that they look like gods and goddesses"
Everyone was voicing their opinion on the statues.
Even Xue Fang found it disbelieving that such an image could be made into a statue of this degree of detail, every detail of their bodies was well sculpted, up to the perfect hourglass figure of the females, even their long hair and clothing were well sculpted.
"Everyone, let's rest"
Fatty Zhu said in a restless voice.
"Huh?!! Just because you are tired? You wanted to hold us back?"
The girl who stuck with the boys' group said in complaint.
"And with your enhancement level, this level of distance shouldn't exhaust you, at least not yet, or are you a level one?"
The sound of level one was so mocking that it made Xue Fang swallow a huge lump and cast them a side glance.
"I'm not willing to use my enhancement state, and besides my level is far above level one, you can even count it with your ten fucking fingers, since they didn't give us a time limit, we could take our time"
Fatty Zhu spoke back in defense.
Xue Fang then appraised Fatty Zhu and his information was displayed.
'What a genius! Or has his family member relinquish their Soul Coins to him?'
"Come on boy, you can do it, let's get this done and leave quickly, don't you feel some creepy presence in here? I can't stand resting in this creepy place"
One of the boys encouraged Fatty Zhu and everyone continued the journey.
