Yoruichi strolled back to the small courtyard and quickly hopped into the bath.
As he soaked, he remembered the hot spring in town—Konoha's most famous bathhouse.
"Hmm, I've never been there. Should I check it out sometime?" he muttered.
After finishing his bath, Yoruichi dried himself off and went back to his room. But just as he was about to lie down, his door slammed open.
Kushina entered, her damp red hair clinging to her shoulders, a faint floral scent filling the room. Her flushed cheeks and slightly wet skin hinted that she'd just bathed.
Yoruichi blinked, confused. "It's late, Kushina. What are you doing?"
Her face reddened even more. "Yoruichi," she said softly, "don't you think you should apologize to Sister Tsunade?"
Yoruichi sighed at her pleading eyes and finally relented. "Fine. If it'll make you happy, I'll apologize."

[Ding! Based on the host's environment, three choices are available:]
1. Apologize to Tsunade – Reward: A broken shuriken
2. Forgive Tsunade and claim you aren't angry – Reward: A-level jutsu, Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique
3. Teach Tsunade a lesson – Reward: A-level jutsu, All-Directional Shuriken Barrage
Yoruichi grinned to himself. The system sure likes messing with me.
Clearing his throat, he said, "I think I'm right, but I'll forgive Tsunade. I'm not mad, as long as she doesn't mess with me again."
Kushina glared at him. "That's not an apology!"
"I'm not wrong. Why should I apologize?" Yoruichi said, crossing his arms.
Before Kushina could argue further, the door slammed open again. Both froze.
Tsunade stood there, looking between them with a raised eyebrow. "What are you doing in my room?"
Kushina waved her hands frantically. "No, no! Sister Tsunade, it's not what you think! Yoruichi wants to apologize to you!"
Yoruichi groaned internally. Why is this my life?
Tsunade narrowed her eyes. "Apologize?"
Yoruichi scratched his cheek awkwardly. "Look, I'm not mad about earlier, alright? Just... don't mess with me again."
[Congratulations! You have completed Choice #2. Reward: A-level jutsu, Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique.]
Tsunade's eye twitched. "Oh? You've forgiven me, have you? Great. Let's take this to the training ground—I'd hate to wreck this place."
Before Yoruichi could respond, Mito appeared.
"Tsunade, you've been gone for two years. Must you pick a fight right after returning?" she asked with a sigh.
Kushina turned to Yoruichi, worried.
Yoruichi shrugged. "I said I forgave her. What more do you want?"
Mito gave him a pointed look. "Yoruichi, just let it go. She's your elder."
Tsunade scoffed. "I don't need him to let me win!"
Her chakra flared, shaking the floor. Kushina panicked. "Wait, wait! How about this? Yoruichi, am wrestle with Sister Tsunade! If you lose, you apologize!"
Yoruichi smirked. "Alright, that sounds fair."
He remembered the scene in the anime where Tsunade arm-wrestled the Raikage. This might actually be fun.
Tsunade's anger shifted to determination. "You're on, kid. But let me tell you, no one's ever beaten me at this."
"Guess I'll be the first." Yoruichi chuckled.
Tsunade snorted, her tone full of confidence. "Kid, stop talking big. I'll crush you later!"
Yoruichi smirked. "Alright. But what if I win?"
Tsunade laughed loudly. "Win? If you win, I'll agree to anything you want!"
With her trademark grin, she added, "Come on! To the training ground!"
Uzumaki Mito, seated nearby, shook her head. "You two go ahead. This old woman needs her rest. And keep it down. It's late; don't disturb the neighbors."
Tsunade waved dismissively. "Yeah, yeah, Grandma, I know!"
She thought everything was under control and envisioned herself easily defeating Yoruichi. Her smile turned sly as they walked to the training ground.
---
The training ground was empty under the moonlight. Tsunade glanced around, spotted a large boulder, and smashed it with one punch. The rock shattered into pieces, leaving a flat surface perfect for a arm-wrestling contest.
"Scared yet, brat?" Tsunade teased, her smirk widening.
Yoruichi stayed calm, his expression neutral, which only irritated Tsunade further.
"You'll see what I can do soon enough!" she snapped.
Both of them took their positions at opposite ends of the stone platform, locking hands firmly.
Tsunade turned her head toward Kushina, who stood nearby. "Kushina, step back. I don't want you getting hurt."
Kushina nodded and retreated a safe distance, about ten meters away. She then shouted, "Alright, ready? Three... two... one... start!"
---
"AHHHH!!!" Tsunade roared, golden chakra bursting from her body as the match began.
Yoruichi smiled faintly, his grip steady. Slowly, his strength began to rise—10%, 20%, 30%, and so on. A faint purple chakra enveloped him, crackling with power.
Tsunade froze for a second, distracted by the sight. His chakra... it looked just like her grandfather's. A surge of force pushed against her hand, snapping her focus back to the match.
With a low growl, she activated the Yin Seal on her forehead. "The Strength of a Hundred Technique!"
Golden chakra surged around her, nearly overwhelming her earlier disadvantage. She gritted her teeth. "This kid's strength... How is it this insane? And why does he look so calm?!"
Tsunade's fighting spirit flared. The golden sheen on her body intensified, and her voice rang out. "I don't care! There's no way you're stronger than me!"
The clash of chakra became a spectacle. Purple and gold energy spiraled together, forming a massive whirlwind that blew debris in all directions.
---
The ground beneath them cracked.
The stone platform split apart.
Sarutobi Hiruzen, back at home after a long day, had just settled down when a masked ANBU appeared. "Hokage-sama, it's Tsunade and Yoruichi again."
Hiruzen sighed deeply, rubbing his temples. "Tsunade…" He stood up, grabbing his hat. Beside him, his wife Biwako muttered, "More overtime again, huh?"
Hiruzen didn't reply, already on his way out the door.
---
Meanwhile, Sakumo Hatake, and Minato Namikaze, who had just returned from a mission spotted the swirling purple-and-gold tornado nearby them.
"What's that?" Minato asked, frowning.
Sakumo narrowed his eyes. "Something big. Let's check it out."
---
Back at the training ground, Kushina had retreated even farther, now almost twenty meters away. Her eyes darted nervously between the two combatants locked in their wrist-wrestling battle.
"This was a bad idea," she muttered. "Why did I even suggest this?"
Purple chakra erupted from Yoruichi, shooting into the sky like a geyser. Despite the intensity of the clash, he still protected Kushina by summoning wooden branches to shield her from flying debris.
Tsunade noticed. "Hmph. At least you've got the sense to protect Kushina," she said, her voice tinged with grudging respect.
Her own battle spirit surged higher. The golden chakra around her flared brilliantly, pushing her strength to the limit. The ground beneath them shattered further, craters forming around their feet.
---
Minato and Sakumo arrived just as the pressure in the air reached its peak. They stopped near Kushina.
"What happened here?!" Minato asked, wide-eyed.
Kushina pointed toward the stone platform—or what was left of it. "It's Yoruichi and Tsunade. They're… uh… having a match."
Minato blinked in disbelief. "Wait, that's Tsunade-sama?!"
Sakumo nodded. "Yeah. And it looks like Yoruichi's holding his own."
Minato's jaw dropped. "He's matching Tsunade-sama in strength?!"
Sakumo crossed his arms, his tone serious. "He's not just matching her—he's winning."
Minato's heart sank as he watched the clash. He thought he had been closing the gap between himself and Yoruichi. Now, he realized the distance was even greater than he had initially thought!
