"It isn't my fault, Professor Ligarius," she started, her voice tinged with an exasperated whine. "I ain't never slept in a bed that soft before! Like layin' on a cloud, it was. You don't wake up early after sleeping on something like that, you just don't. And the meal last night, oh, sweet heavens! Best thing I ever had, and no one was trying to steal it off my plate either. I mean, can you believe it? Not a single greedy hand reached across the table. And then there's my roommate—"

She puffed out her cheeks, her indignation bubbling over. "She's mean as a starving rooster, that one. Told me I stole her food and asked who I was, I didn't steal her food, by the way, I had no idea it was even hers! Mostly."
