If someone asked Feng Mei Hiu how he got to the cemetery, the he wouldn't be able to explain. The whole journey felt like a blur, as though he was in a daze.
The cemetery was mostly empty, a young man was weeping profusely in front of a young lady's grave and a mother was watching her daughter place flowers on a man's tombstone.
Feng Mei Hiu's eyes took in the two older graves.
Fu Jiang, Aged: 27 years.
Chen Kexin, Aged: 24years.
Finally, his sapphire blue eyes rested on the newest grave.
Fu Dongmei, Aged: 75 years.
"Mom, Dad, Grandma." Feng Mei Hiu choked down a sob, as he struggled to breathe. Something broke inside him, leaving him hallow and empty, a deep abyss of darkness swallowing him whole. Thousands of emotions swam through him; anger, despair, sorrow, pain, grief. Each feeling constricting his heart.
Feng Mei Hiu felt something roll down his cheek and it took a dazed second to realize that it was a teardrop, once the first one dropped the others came like a flooding dam.
Feng Mei Hiu collapsed on his knees, a heart wrenching sob spilling from his lip. He felt empty, alone. The people he loved, his family, each one of them were gone, claimed by an unforgiven earth were they laid cold and silent forever.
What was the reason for a new life if he was alone? Why didn't he just die? What was his reason for living?
Feng Mei Hiu did not realize when it began to rain, nor did he register the fact that he was the only person now left in the cemetery. He couldn't feel the cold that dampened his clothes to his skin, rainwater mixing with salty tears, he could no longer cry, the pain too heavy for words, too heavy for tears.
"Fu Xiang, I understand your grief..."
"Fu Xiang is dead." Feng Mei Hiu cut the system off with a growl.
For a second the system lagged before it found it's voice. "Fu Xiang is not dead, you are here, alive and breathing."
"I am just a soul living in a borrowed body." Feng Mei Hiu chuckled dryly. "When people look at me they see Feng Mei Hiu, not Fu Xiang, Fu Xiang is dead and forgotten."
"Fu Xiang can only die when you let him." The system said. "When you first woke up you wanted revenge, are you just giving up now? Are you going to let the Zhao family succeed in breaking you? People may look at you and see someone else, but you know who you are." Xiao Li Ja Tong was worried, Feng Mei Hiu's body status was dropping low.
"Your family, they had dreams for you, hope, wishes. They may be dead but their hope for you is to live." Xiao Li Ja Tong continued firmly. "You must live, to bring justice to that Fu Xiang who died unjustly, you must live for your family and you must live for yourself, because you deserve to be alive."
For a minute Feng Mei Hiu remained still, face buried in his palm as his figure shook from the chilling coldness and the burning pain.
Feng Mei Hiu rose to his feet as he stumbled out of the cemetery in stumbling steps, he felt dizzy from the cold. The heavy rain and dense darkness dulled his senses, he heard the screeching of car tires too late, all he had time to see was the headlight of a car as a blinding pain coursed through his body, he fell unconscious with the sound of Xiao Li Ja Tong's scream.
He unbuckled his seat belt hastily, as he hurried out of the car, worry and fear settling in as he stared at the unconscious man who laid in a pool of his own blood.
"Oh my God." He gasped.
*******
"Huff, huff, huff."
Xue Feifei filled her lungs desperately with air as she emerged from the water, she leaned back into the bathtub and for a second she swore the water had turned a glaring blood red.
"I am going crazy." Xue Feifei chuckled to herself, ever since that night, two days ago were she watched Feng Xueqin murder Shelton Qin and his five year old son, she had never stopped hallucinating.
Xue Feifei stepped out of the bathtub, she had been in there long enough and the water was growing cold anyways.
Wrapping a white bathrobe around her naked figure, she exited the bathroom, her feet shrinking from the cold tiles that were in stark contrast to the bathrooms heated floor.
Grabbing her hairdryer from the table, she gazed at the mirror as she dried her hair. An exhausted woman stared back at her and she wondered if she would ever be normal again.
"Following the death of late CEO, Shelton Qin, the future of Shelton Infrastructure is in dire state..."
With a frown Xue Feifei turned off the television, dropping the hairdryer with an annoyed sigh. She fished out her lighter and a packet of cigarettes. Flames erupted at the first click and she tossed the lighter back on the table, taking a long drag of the cancer stick.
"Baby, smoking is bad for the health." A deep voice rasped beside her ear, a muscular arm wrapped around her waist pulling her back into a snug chest.
Xue Feifei exhaled smoke, lifting her cigarette to her lip for another drag, she rolled her eyes, how could she have forgotten about him, and what made him think she was his 'baby'. She could tolerate the nickname when she was drunk and gasping in pleasure, not when she's sober and rational.
"Just because we had sex doesn't mean you have the right to lecture me." Xue Feifei removed the offending limb from her waist, as she turned to glare at the man. "Get out."
"What? I thought..." He spluttered.
"You thought wrong, get dressed and leave." Xue Feifei ordered coldly. "Or...did you think we were going to have sex again?" She smirked as the man blushed.
"Get over yourself Liam, I only tolerated the sex because I was drunk and horny, you think I would go through that rubbish now that I am sober? Your sex skills sucks." Xue Feifei snorted coldly.
"Fuck you." He growled, face red from anger and shame as he wore his clothes hastily.
"Already did, Liam." She smirked.
"My name is Leon." He yelled as he banged the door shut.
"Whatever." Xue Feifei rolled her eyes, as she walked towards the glass window.
The view of the city's night was always amazing from her condo, but it was lackluster in the morning, yet she gazed out the window, it gave her space to think.
To become powerful, one had to first become a monster, did she have what it took to become a monster?

Ling Sheng was annoyed, granted he felt annoyed most of the time, but anyone else in his shoes wouldn't fare any better. He kept getting complaints from patients, some nurse did this, another doctor did that, he wished he could grow a thousand legs and arms and do everything himself, but alas it wasn't possible.
His annoyance only increased when he walked into Han Yichen's ward and saw the last person he wanted to see again on earth.
"Are you making my patient work?" Ling Sheng glared at the man in a navy blue suit who stood beside Han Yichen.
"Ling Sheng." Han Yichen smiled jovially.
"Young Master Han is only signing a few documents." The man's reply was curt.
Ling Sheng paid not attention to Han Yichen, his cold eyes trained on the man. "Han Yichen needs to recuperate properly, your work can wait, this is a hospital not an office, his stitches will open if he apply's pressure on them."
"I am sorry Doctor Ling, I didn't know that Young Master Han's stitches would suddenly rip open, under the torturous strain of signing a few documents." He rolled his eyes.
"Are you being sarcastic with me Mr Hong?" By now Ling Sheng stood chest to chest with the taller man.
"If that's how you see it Doctor Ling." Mr Hong shrugged.
Han Yichen smiled in amusement, seriously this two.
Ling Sheng glared at the man, inwardly cursing at the other man's alpha genes, the height difference made his glaring seem pointless.
"You..."
"I am done." Han Yichen cut in as he handed the documents to Mr Hong.
"Goodbye Young Master Han and goodbye to you too Doctor Ling." He bowed politely.
Ling Sheng snorted feeling too petty to acknowledge the goodbye as he glared at the taller man till he left the room.
"And you," he pointed a finger at a smirking Han Yichen, "didn't I warn you to stay away from working? If your stitches open up, Mr Hong will have to fix them for you." He thundered.
"I was only signing a couple of documents, Xiao Sheng, have a bit more faith in your stitches." Han Yichen winked.
"When did he come back?" Ling Sheng asked hesitantly.
"Him? Who?" Han Yichen pretend to think, "you have to be more specific, darling."
"Han Yichen." Ling Sheng growled as he hit him on the head with a pillow.
"Ouch! Be careful, I am a patient, seriously you and your cousin are so violent." Ling Sheng looked unimpressed by his antics.
"He came back a month ago, took up a position as my executive assistant, anything else you want to know?" Han Yichen wiggled his brows.
"I don't care about that idiot." Ling Sheng snorted. Seriously, why was he asking about him in the first place, he didn't care about him anymore.
"I think you both should just talk it out, sort out the old feelings." Ling Sheng glared at Han Yichen.
"There are no old feelings to sort out." Han Yichen rolled his eyes, please he wasn't blind.
"You both made such an amazing couple, I used to think you would be married to each other by now." Han Yichen was unperturbed by Ling Sheng's cold stare. "You both couldn't stay away from each other for a second and now both of you want to stay the farthest from each other." Han Yichen chuckled lightly.
"That's just life I guess, people change, they fall in love and fall out of love, some people are just not suited for each other." Ling Sheng sighed.
"You never told me why you two broke up I..." Han Yichen trailed off as he shivered from Ling Sheng's cold smile.
"Han Yichen I know 185 ways to kill a man, and I can make 85 of them look natural, don't push your luck."
