"His pheromone level is stable, heart rate is steady and while his blood pressure is a little high, Young Master Feng is alright." He assured, cold gray eyes glaring at the alpha's through the lens of his glasses. "Now please leave my nurse alone."
" Doctor Ling your nurse is suspected of harming Young Master Feng." The guard's voice was steady as his grip tightened on the arm of the nurse.
"I didn't do anything to him, I swear. He woke up and started strangling me, then he suddenly fainted." She cried.
"How could he strangle you? He's a patient for god sake." Another guard argued, as he glared at the frightened nurse.
"Are you blind, or you are just choosing to ignore the marks on her neck. Did she fucking strangle herself?" Doctor Ling asked. "According to the scans from the neurologist, Young Master Feng has mild TBI, it is normal for patients with TBI to experience sudden unconsciousness and aggressive behaviors."
"We are only acting according to the orders of Young Master Han, no one who is a threat to Young Master Feng should be let go." The guard's stance remained firm.
Doctor Ling rolled his eyes, he dipped his hand into his phone pocket and took out his phone, dailing a number, he placed the call on loudspeaker, the call was answered at the second ring.
"Xiao Ling, are you missing me?" A lazy voice chuckled.
"Han Yichen." Ling Sheng spat through gritted teeth.
"What's the problem?" Han Yichen's voice turned serious.
"Listen very carefully,if your men don't leave my nurse alone, I am going to rip off their balls and shove it so far their throat they are going to choke on it." Ling Sheng stared the men right in the eyes as he spoke.
"So scary." Han Yichen laughed. "Put the call on loudspeaker."
"It's on loudspeaker."
"Alright. Chang Xui, Li Feng." They stood straighter at the call of their names as though Han Yichen could see them. "You had best do what Doctor Ling says, you don't want to see him mad, trust me." Han Yichen's chuckle sent shivers down their spine.
"We understand boss." Chang Xui, the guard holding the nurse replied.
With a beep sound, Ling Sheng ended the call.
"Both of you can get out, I need to ventilate the room before the patient wakes up, your alpha pheromones won't be good for the health of a weak omega." Doctor Ling ordered coldly.
Chang Xui and Li Feng exchanged glances and left the room with a nod.
"I am sorry for the inconveniences nurse Wang." Ling Sheng's voice startled the nurse who was rubbing her bruised arm.
"It's okay Doctor Ling." She managed a wobbly smile.
"It's not, those assholes bruised you." He seethed. "You can take the week off."
"It's alright Doctor Ling, I don't need a week off." Nurse Wang refuses hastily.
"I insist, the hospital will settle you for the trouble and your mother will be moved to a gold class ward, just make sure no one hears of what transpired between you and Young Master Feng." Ling Sheng smiled, his gray eyes taking in the nurses excitement.
"Of course Doctor Ling, not a single soul will hear about this." Nurse Wang nodded as she struggled to curb the smile on her face, seeing that the doctor had no more words for her she turned to leave.
"Wait." Ling Sheng stopped her, the nurse turning to him in confusion. "Who did you he was asking for?"
"He kept asking me were was Zhoa An Na." Nurse Wang replied.
"You can leave." Ling Sheng dismissed.
"Zhoa An Na? The actor?" Ling Sheng mumbled to himself. He massaged his forehead as he observed Feng Mei Hui. "What crazy things are you up to now?" He muttered as he exited the room.

"Ugh!" Fu Xiang woke up with a groan, his entire body felt as though he had been run over by a truck.
"Technically, your car was run over by a truck, but the pain you a re feeling right now is an after effect of staying in the mental space." Xiao Li Ja Tong's annoying voice buzzed in his mind.
"I thought I couldn't interact with you out of my mental space?" Fu Xiang questioned.
"You can't see my appearance when we are not in your mental space, but I can still communicate with you." Xiao Li Ja Tong explained, pride evident in it's voice.
"Young Master Feng please hold on, I will call the doctor right away." A timid voice interrupted his conversation with the system.
Turning his head was a painful chore and Fu Xiang struggled to bite back a groan, a different nurse stood a few steps away from him, her eyes nervous and tense as though she expected him to jump on her at any second.
Slowly she turned around and hurried away to the table were an intercom was placed, no doubt placing a call across to a doctor.
"You never told we there was a side effect to entering mental space." Fu Xiang watched the nurse as she made the phone call.
"Maybe because I was busy trying to stop you from killing that nurse." Xiao Li Ja Tong accused. "The longer you stay in your mental space, the more painful your body will be when you wake up. But on the bright side, the pain only lasts for a few seconds." It added.
True to the system's words, Fu Xiang could feel the pain lessening, before he could reply, the door of the room was flung open, a young doctor and a group of nurses rushed towards him, crowding him on the bed.
"Young Master blink if you understand what I am saying. Can you see me?" The doctor's gray eyes observed him.
Blink
"Good. Can you hear me?"
Blink
"How many fingers am I holding up?" The doctor waved two fingers at him.
"Two." Fu Xiang replied hoarsely, his voice raw and scratchy.
"What color is this?" A blue pen was placed before him.
"Blue."
"Good, your sensory organs are working fine." The doctor nodded. "What's your name?"
"Feng Mei Hui."
"Do you know who I am?" The doctor asked
"You are my doctor." Fu Xiang replied slowly, talking feeling less difficult by the seconds.
"No, I meant if you knew my name." The doctor frowned.
"No." Fu Xiang replied without hesitation.
"Do you remember your mother's name, the school you attended, your friends?" The doctor's frown had gotten severe.
Fu Xiang searched his memory but drew a blank, everything about Feng Mei Hui's life was covered by a dense fog he couldn't see through. "No." He replied.
The doctor nodded understandingly. "My name is Ling Sheng, you can calle Doctor Ling or Brother Sheng, whichever makes you feel more comfortable."
"Alright Doctor Ling." Fu Xiang nodded.
Ling Sheng did not mind his formal choice of addressing him, after all he was a stranger to the current Feng Mei Hui. "Short-term memory loss is a common condition for patients with mild traumatic brain injury, you may be suffering from retrograde or post-traumatic amnesia, further study will confirm which one you have." Ling Sheng explained softly.
Fu Xiang entered into immediately, his eyes bearing a soft and dazed look. "Amnesia? Doctor Ling I don't understand. Do you mean that I can't remember anything about my past." Panic coursed through his words.
"Don't panic." Doctor Ling placated gently, his voice automatically becoming gentle. "Amnesia is not the end of your life, it may be short-termed and you will have your memories back in no time."
"And if it isn't?" Fu Xiang cut in, playing the part of a scared and confused patient.
"It can be managed, you will make new memories with your family amd your loved ones will support you all the way." The words sounded bitter in his mouth. What family? What loved ones? That witch would probably just let Feng Mei Hui rot away in some corner, but such an innocent looking Feng Mei Hui wouldn't be able to bear the truth, better to feed him with sugar-coated lies.
"I have a family?" Fu Xiang asked confusedly.
"You do." Ling Sheng nodded. "They will be informed that you're awake soon and in the meantime I'll perform a MRI and a neurological exam on you."
A nurse approached him with an injection and Fu Xiang felt his body freeze, the fear in his eyes not am act by real fear, the memories rushed in. Days spent locked away, being injected with God knows what substance. Somedays he was too high to feel anything and other days he was in so much pain he wished to die.
Hold him down
Don't worry, you will like it.
Their taunting voices filled his ears, his heart rate speed up as he struggled to breathe.
Doctor Ling was quick to notice his state. "Feng Mei Hui, what's wrong?" He gripped his hand, the skin clammy with sweat.
Fu Xiang struggled in his grip, the hold reminding him of chains.
"Fu Xiang, Fu Xiang breathe, it's okay, you aren't there anymore, they can't hurt you now." Xiao Li Ja Tong's voice pulled him out of his nightmares.
"No injection." He muttered hoarsely, gasping for breathe.
"Alright, no injection." Ling Sheng assured, the nurse quickly taking away the offending needle with speed.
"It's alright, you're okay." Ling Sheng comforted as Fu Xiang's breathing eased.
******
After the injection fiasco, the doctor had settled on a drip and left, leaving only a lone nurse on standby. Fu Xiang appreciated the privacy, it allowed him to think, never again in this life would he be so vulnerable before others, that weak and miserable Fu Xiang had died three years ago, in the dark cells of those damned labs.
"I am sorry." A tentative voice cut through his thoughts.
"What are you sorry for Xiao Li?" Fu Xiang asked coldly.
"For everything you went through in the hands of the Zhao's."
"That was not your fault, and they will suffer a hundred times more pain for all they put me through, that's a promise." Fu Xiang's dark eyes held a promise of revenge.
"I am..."
"Enough of the pity, it's suffocating." Fu Xiang cut the system off. "Why don't I have Feng Mei Hui's memories?"
The change of topic was startling, but sensing Fu Xiang's disinterest in the previous topic, the system played along. "Memories belong to the soul and not the body, when Feng Mei Hui died his soul left this body along with the memories."
"Then how am I supposed to live as Feng Mei Hui when I know nothing about him?" Fu Xiang asked annoyed.
"The doctor already think you have amnesia, so just play along." Xiao Li Ja Tong was relaxed.
"Amnesia is not so easy to fake, it's only a matter of time before they realize something is strange." Fu Xiang was not as relaxed as the system.
"You are an actor you will figure it out." Xiao Li Ja Tong laughed. "Umm your annoyance level has just increased from 500 to 1750."
"I wonder why?" Fu Xiang questioned sarcastically.
"I can't really help with the memory part, but I can request for Feng Mei Hui's file from headquarters, it isn't much, but it will help."
Before Fu Xiang could reply, the door was flung open, the loud clack of heels and the scent of Nobles Diamond In The Rough announcing the presence of another individual.
Fu Xiang turned towards the approaching individual, a beautiful lady who looked not a day older than thirty.
Her voluptuous dark hair was tied back into a high ponytail, dark lashes fluttering like the wings of a butterfly, her dark almond eyes red with unshed tears, as she held her pink bottom lip in between her teeth.
She was dressed in a forest green jumpsuit which hugged her sexy figure in all the right curves, the gems in her jewelry sparkling so much that Fu Xiang was shocked he wasn't blind yet, she placed her black handbag on the table, as she hurried towards him.
"I will leave now, got to request those files." Xiao Li Ja Tong disappeared with a nervous chuckle.
"You little shit."
"Pardon?" A voice as gentle as a flowing stream startled him.
"Nothing." He replied with a strained smile. Did I say that out loud? Time to put on a show.
Did Feng Mei Hui just call me a little shit? No, I must be overthinking, she shook her head, his dazed eyes watched her nervously and she bit back a smile, good the fool really has lost his memories, time to out on my A game.
"My poor baby." She cried, the scent of her perfume overwhelming as she made to hug him.
"Who are you?" Fu Xiang recoiled from her hug.
"Don't you recognize me?" She asked in confusion. "I am your mother."
