Feng Mei Hiu felt his body lightened, as though his soul was separated from his body, everything around him frozen in time.
"That was so close." Xiao Li Ja Tong huffed, the system materializing in front of him. "I almost couldn't stop you."
"What's going on?" Feng Mei Hiu frowned in confusion, as he stared at the scene in front of him. He could see himself pointing a knife at Zhao An Na, the look in his eyes twisted and deranged, an old lady being led by her grandson watched them in shock, falling petal frozen in the air. It was as though time had stopped, everything frozen and stagnant.
"It's a time freeze." Xiao Li Ja Tong said. "Each system has the ability to freeze time, but we can only do this thrice, when time is restarted everything will begin 2 minutes backwards."
"Amazing." Feng Mei Hiu gazed at the system.
"Not amazing, it's annoying." Feng Mei Hiu could fell the system glaring at him, which was rather weird as it's physical form was a literal trash can.
"You're angry." A conclusion Feng Mei Hiu came to when he saw the smoke coming out of the system, literally.
"Of course I am angry." Xioa Li Ja Tong snapped. "That was such a powerful ability, and I just wasted it, all because you couldn't control yourself." The system sighed. "The main system would deem you unredeemable the moment you kill someone and your soul will be obliterated immediately."
"You're right, I couldn't control myself, the moment I saw Zhao An Na I was consumed with hatred and pain." Feng Mei Hiu's eyes were trained on the frozen scene.
"I know he hurt you Fu Xiang, but you mustn't let your emotions cloud your judgement."
"It was a mistake." Feng Mei Hiu balled his fists, he had been consumed by rage when he saw Zhao An Na, but that animal deserved more pain than a quick stab to the heart. "Zhao An Na deserves a slow and torturous death."
Xiao Li Ja Tong frowned but didn't rebuff Feng Mei Hiu's statement, right now his host was filled with too much hate and the journey towards healing would be long.
"If I unfreeze time, you won't try and kill him again right?" Xioa Li Ja Tong asked in skepticism.
"I won't." Feng Mei Hiu rolled his eyes.
Suddenly everything darkened for a second, it was as though he was being squeezed from all sides, hundreds of emotions rushing through him.
"Sorry." A familiar voice muttered as the person hurried away.
Feng Mei Hiu blinked, he felt disoriented as he struggled to adjust. Turning around he caught the sight of Zhao An Na's back, as his figure hurried away.
Not now. He reminded himself as the memories of days he spent locked away and tortured flitted into his thoughts.
"Calm down Fu Xiang." Xioa Li Ja Tong's voice sounded in his mind.
"I know." He muttered as he turned swiftly, the faster he left, the better.
The walk back to his ward was quick and uneventful, his body was beginning to feel weak and he felt dizzy, the need to rest the only thought in his mind, he breezed past Han Yichen's guards and entered his room .
He froze when he opened the door, pausing slightly as he confirmed if he was in the right place, because what on earth was going on?
A group of people wearing lilac colored long sleeve shirts and black trousers were bustling around in the ward, hanging up balloons and decorating the room with huge love shaped bouquets of red roses, Feng Mei Hiu's worst flower.
Feng Mei Hiu rubbed the bridge of his nose as he felt irritation and anger bubbling in his stomach.
"What's the meaning of this?" His blue eyes turned sharply to the nurses who were gushing at the scene.
"Young Master Han ordered flowers from Lana's Garden, these are workers from there." Normally the nurses were afraid of Feng Mei Hiu, but now they middle-aged beta nurse was all smiles, her eyes curving into wrinkles.
Feng Mei Hiu had heard of Lana's Gardens, their flowers were ridiculously expensive and hard to get, even Zhao An Na had only managed to get one bouquet of Lilies for his birthday, yet his room was being suffocated by roses from Lana's Garden.
"Han Yichen ordered all this?" Feng Mei Hiu arched a brow.
"Yes, yes." The younger nurse nodded her head, the scent of her plum omega pheromone increasing with her joy.
"Young Master Feng is so lucky." The older nurse chimed in. "When you were rushed into the hospital, Old Master Li came out of retirement and supervised your surgery because of Han Yichen." She chattered on.
"Oh my!" The omega nurse gasped, her reaction bringing Feng Mei Hiu's attention back to the workers who were hanging a huge banner.
GET WELL SOON MY LOVE. These words were inscribed on the banner.
"For you." A young man handed Feng Mei Hiu a pink card.
Feng Mei Hiu opened the card with delicate fingers.
I wish for you to become as vibrant as these roses and I hope you love them.
♥️Han Yichen.
The handwriting was bold and beautiful, Feng Mei Hiu felt jealousy course through him, how could someone write so perfectly whilst he wrote like a clumsy chicken.
Feng Mei Hiu absolutely hated the flowers. In his last life he had been allergic to red roses and had grown a strong dislike for the flower. While his new body didn't share the allergy he still disliked the flowers scent and now Han Yichen had filled his room with them, this was obviously a conspiracy against him.
"That's a bit far-fetched, how could Han Yichen know you hate red roses." Xioa Li Ja Tong reasoned.
Feng Mei Hiu covertly rolled his eyes. "I am afraid I am only going to get sicker in the midst of these flowers."
Feng Mei Hiu wrinkled his nose and sighed when he saw the nurses still gushing in admiration.
"Can you please leave, I need to rest." Feng Mei Hiu struggled to keep his rising anger at bay.
The workers nodded, they were done anyway, so they left with the two nurses following them.
"Peace at last." Feng Mei took in a deep breath, an action he immediately regretted when an overwhelming smell of roses choked him.
"I am going to kill Han Yichen." He gnashed his teeth as he walked towards the bed, Xiao Li Ja Tong chuckling in his mind.
Feng Mei Hiu paused when he reached the bed, an itchy feeling in his brain, something felt off.
Ever since he woke up in Feng Mei Hiu's body his senses had become sharper, something the system had explained to him was a gift. At first it had been unnerving to find out he could tell if even his toothbrush moved two millimetres from it's previous position, but he was slowly coping with his new gift.
Blue eyes scanned the bed for the oddity, and paused on a novel. Earlier that morning, he had been reading Charles Roderick's Breaker Of Chains, he remembered leaving the novel laying faced down in the middle of the bed, now it laid faced down close to his pillow. Someone had moved his book.
Feng Mei Hiu picked up the book, his eyes narrowing at a folded paper placed underneath it. He dropped the book and unfolded the paper.
Hide Feng Mei Hiu, Red knows were you are and they are coming.
Ash.
Feng Mei Hiu crushed the paper in his palm. Who left this here? What on earth was going on?

Slap
The crisp sound of a slap echoed through the room.
Wei Ehuang bit her tongue as she struggled to remain standing, the force of the slap had turned her head and the could taste blood in her mouth.
"Useless, worthless, stupid." He yelled, his chest heaving like a beast, so much hate in his eyes as though he could kill her right where she stood.
"Father, I.." He cut her off with a harsh glare.
"Not a word from you." Wei Jiehong slammed his walking stick into the rugged floor. "Can't you do anything right, couldn't you use your brai..." He cut himself off with a sarcastic chuckle. "Your are an omega, of course you have no brain."
Wei Ehuang's eyes remained fixed on the ground as she fought back tears. "I am sorry father."
"You were so close to bringing this family to greatness, but you just had to go and mess it up." Wei Jiehong loathed her weakness. "Our only hope now are the shares in Feng Mei Hiu's custody, get them by all means."
He glared at her figure, her eyes trained to the ground pathetic. "I assume you should be able to do something so simple or do you need me to teach you." His words were laced with something dark and ominous.
"No father, I can handle it." Wei Ehuang's fingers stabbed so deeply into her skin they almost drew blood.
"Good." Wei Jiehong's cold hands gripped her chin, lifting her head up so they could see eye to eye. "Make father proud." His lips curved into a sinister smirk.

"Beidz kliegt, es saņēmu zāles un esmu ceļā atpakaļ uz moteli." (Quit yelling, I have got the medicine and I am on my way back to the motel). She snapped, as she tightened her grip on the bag in her hand, turning to glance behind to see if anyone was following her.
"Velns, es noasiņošu līdz nāvei, pirms tu šeit nokļūsi." (Fuck, I am going to bleed to death before you get here). A raspy voice yelled from the phone.
"tu pārgulēji ar kāda sievu, tev vajadzētu priecāties, ka vīrietis tevi tikai nodūr." (I wasn't the one who sent you to go sleep with someone's wife, you're lucky the man only stabbed you). She took a harsh drag from the cigarette, the smoke mixing with her cold exhale.
"kuce tikai pasteidzies." (Bitch just hurry). The person yelled.
"nekliedz uz mani moris, tā nav mana vaina, ka nevarēji to turēt savās biksēs, tāpēc vai nu klusē vai ej mirt." (Don't yell at me Morris, it's not my fault you couldn't keep it in your pants, so you had either wait or go die for all I care). She ended the call, taking one last drag of her cigarette before tossing it away.
She cursed when she dipped her foot into murky water as she took a turn in the dark alley, tightening her coat around herself as the cold weather have her goosebumps.
Morris owed her a trip at Vale Island for all the shit he put her through. Quickening her footsteps she dashed through complicated turns. Instinct kicked in when she noticed a man standing at the end of the alley, he was covered in a grey coat, his hat tipped downward hiding his face as she casually lit a cigarette. It could just be a man stealing a quick smoke broke, but her instincts were telling her to run and she never doubted them.
Pushing a hand into her blonde locks, she turned back, her steps swift as she glanced over her shoulder, the man was following her.
She bit her lip, her heart thudding in her chest. Fuck you Morris.
She broke into a run, dashing through the complicated alley, after a few minutes she stopped, huffing as she struggled to breathe. Brown eyes darted around wildly. Had she lost him?
Click
The sound of a gun from behind her made her blood freeze, turning, she saw the man, his features still a mystery, but she could make out a long scar on his left eye and a golden tooth that gleamed in his evil grin.
Her heat thudded loudly. "Reaper." The name was barely a whisper on her lips, fear freezing her organs.
"Victoria." He smiled, his gold tooth gleaming, the grip on his gun steady. "Red had been looking for you love."
