After a long ass ride, we got to Richie's house and I took the necessary stuffs that I needed. I borrowed the textbooks I needed for my upcoming exams since I couldn't afford it. While Mr Stern face was in his car waiting for me. I thought he would have left since he dropped me off. With his window down and him looking directly at my direction I couldn't hide it from anyone that I came with him. Richie who was helping me to pack the textbooks spoke in awe.
"Who is that guy". I rolled my eyes at his question.
"No one, ignore him". I said wanting him to stop speaking.
"Since when".
"Since when what?. I asked him with a side eye.
"Uhh, boyfriend".
"Boyfriend my ass. He is just a cop that was handling my case. And now he is keeping "an eye" on me". He mouthed an O before staring out the window again. The thought that I had to keep explaining to people that him and I don't even have anything. Like we are not even friends to begin with.
I took my backpack and greeted him goodbye.
I came out of the house directing my legs to the way that will lead me home and at the same time wishing that he will not come after me. Well my wish didn't last as he hooked at me and ask me to get in.
He dropped me off at the front of my building and I saw Jane also standing in front of our building.
I got excited seeing her as I got out of the car to embrace her. She had been gone for almost a week now and I missed her so much. Even though she looks skinner now at least she came back. I hugged her for what seems like forever.
"What took you forever girl". I asked her patiently waiting for her to answer when someone spoke from behind us.
"Don't forget what we discussed, Podie". He said with a smirk and zoomed off.
I kept looking at his direction when I noticed that Jane was also looking at it.
"Jane?".
"OMG. Who is he".
