A long time ago back in the [Ancient Era], there existed figures of unfathomable power known as the [Titled Ones].
Their stories contained feats thought
to be impossible by most and were spread throughout the Cosmic Sky.
Today we shall explore the story of one of these unfathomable figures...
.....The Legend of Mirror Knight.

Before the Mirror Knight ever rose to prominence, he was once a mere orphan named Marcus who lived in Mirrion.
Marcus is a Mirronian, a humanoid species almost entirely similar to humans with the exception of them having the innate ability to manipulate mirrors.
They could create mirrors and perform attacks, defenses, and illusions along with the ability to travel through reflections.
All Mirronians has such abilities.....except for Marcus...
Marcus was born with a defect....the inability to use his innate powers called [Mirronian Deviation].
Only 1 in 10 million Mirronians can attain such a defect and unfortunately...Marcus had it.
As a child, Marcus was bullied by other kids due to his defect causing great pains in growing up.....
However, instead of despair.....Marcus showed fortitude....he believed that in due time, he will be able to get back what he had lost in his birth.
Though an orphan, Marcus had a loving caretaker and friends in the orphanage which he stays at.
Fortunately for Marcus, The Mirrion Council allowed for the funding of orphanages for orphans to obtain an education while they haven't been adopted, allowing Marcus and his other orphan friends to get an education.
Though Marcus had always been the odd one out in the school due to his inability to use his powers, Marcus proved to be a quick learner and an intellectual, having high grades throughout his school years.
After graduating, Marcus left the orphanage as he is now an adult and qualified to get a job. He hugged and said goodbye to his friends and caretaker one last time before leaving.
Marcus landed himself a job as a salesman in a prestigious company in the capital, he showed great ability in his work earning the respect of his colleagues and superiors.
However, after a few months later, one of his superiors began to be grow wary of Marcus, as he had heard rumors from other superiors that due to Marcus' great ability, they might promote him and replace the superior with Marcus.
Worry began to fill the superior's mind and began to think of solutions to not lose his position...and that's when he got an idea...
One day, Marcus received a letter telling him to come to his manager's office.
Marcus obliged and headed there. As soon as he arrived, his manager began scolding him due to "faking his sale reports", "being negative towards other colleagues", and "insulting his superiors".
Marcus realized that he was being framed and tried to defend himself, asking his manager to conduct an investigation to find out the truth....
However, what Marcus didn't know was that the manager was in on the plan. The worried superior bribed Marcus' manager to fire him under made-up stories.....
Without even being able to defend himself more clearly and being played by the manager and the superior unknowingly, Marcus was fired from his job.
Marcus was both upset and angry, if he could he would blast the entire company to smithereens but he couldn't because of his defect.
At night, Marcus bought a few packs of beer and went off to a lonely open plains, to drink his sadness away while looking at a nice scenery above the stars.
As Marcus drinks a beer while talking to himself on who could've framed him, he notices a bright light in the sky.
Thinking it was a wishing star, Marcus wished for his defect to disappear and for the one who framed him to be cursed by karma before drinks his final beer.
However, for some reason the bright light didn't go away to the far reaches of space, instead.....it was coming.....down?
Marcus sees the bright light heading towards him and runs away to avoid what's coming.....
After running away by a decent distance, Marcus hides on a nearby boulder and waited for the bright light to come down.
Once it did come down, its landing created a shockwave comparable to an earthquake, scaring Marcus.
Once the shockwave subsided, Marcus decided to come closer to location where the bright light landed.
When he arrived at the location, he was shocked to see a fatally injured armored giant that was almost 50 meters tall.
Marcus gulped in nervousness and fear, thinking it might harm him.....but he gathered the courage that he has and went closer to the giant's face.
"Ummmmm...are you.....okay sir....." asked Marcus
"...No.....i am dying....." said the giant
"Can i.....do anything...to help?" asked Marcus
"No...my injuries are fatal.....nothing can save me now...." said the giant
Suddenly the giant had a realization and looked at Marcus.
"You...who are you?...why does your origin have a connection to mine?....." aske the giant
"My name is Marcus sir...i don't think i have connection to you sir for i am a Mirronian while.....honestly sir i don't know what you are..." said Marcus in confusion
"A Mirronian...so that's why i can feel a connection..." mumbled the giant
"My name is Zephyr, a Light Titan" said Zephyr "we the Light Titans are your predecessors"
"What....how?" asked Marcus
"....long story" said Zephyr "however, it is true that we are your predecessors, in fact our abilities are similar because you inherited it from us....but wait...why do i feel something wrong about you?...."
"It must be because of my defect sir Zephyr" said Marcus "i was born with something called [Mirronian Deviation] which makes inable to access my innate abilities"
"How unfortunate...." said Zephyr
"...I think i can fix that"
Marcus was shocked, If Zephyr was able to do such thing then technically the half of the wish he made to that bright light was actually going to happen.
"...How are you going to do that sir?" said Marcus in excitement
"Hmmm...do you know about something called [Origin Fusion]?" asked Zephyr
"Ummmm....no sir" said Marcus
"Good...[Origin Fusion] is a technique which was deemed as a taboo due to what it does" said Zephyr
"It allows an individual to merge with another individual's origin to become a single entity that contains both individuals powers combined, with the user's consciousness embodying that entity while the target's consciousness is erased."
"You're going to merge yourself with me and erase my consciousness?" asked Marcus in fear and nervousness.
"What!? No...in fact it's the opposite" said Zephyr
"[Origin Fusion] can also be used by the user to sacrifice themselves to merge their powers to another individual...and that's what i'm planning to do to you....."
"...you're going to do such a selfless act.....for me..." asked Marcus
".....liked i said earlier young Marcus.....i am dying....nothing could change that.....i have a duty to protect.....i can't do that if i'm dead..." said Zephyr
"However, you...can replace me.....so technically.....i'm being selfish because i am giving my responsibility to you....."
"Will you....replace me and protect for the benefit of the living beings of the Cosmic Sky?..."
Zephyr knew the weight Marcus would have to carry if he agrees and though he wants someone to replace him once he dies...he was okay with it if Marcus declines.....but he didn't expect for Marcus to say....
"....you know.....all of my life.....i was mistreated by my fellow kind because of my defect....." said Marcus
"I faced discrimination....but i never gave up.....i didn't want them to have the last laugh..."
"So i studied and worked hard...and i attained a job in a prestigious company even with my defect...i proved my worth as a fellow Mirronian....but despite the fact that i was recently fired....i feel like that job wasn't.....really for me....."
"It felt like i wanted to do something with a higher purpose...to do something that does not only benefit me....but others as well...."
"And now that you present such an opportunity to me....i don't think i can decline such an offer..."
"I can see from your face that if i were to replace you i would carry a huge weight on my shoulders...maybe the lives of billions if not trillions....i think you expect me to decline due to the vast responsibility i would carry...but i think.....no....i myself would like to carry your responsibility for you....."
"To serve a higher purpose...to represent hope to those in danger...why not give it a shot...."
Zephy was shocked to hear such a response from Marcus....here was a man who would not run away from Zephyr's offer for someone to replace him and carry his load.....he could see a fire growing in Marcus representing his determination to serve for a greater purpose.....to save lives....it was all that Zephyr could have ever wanted his future successor to be.
"Very well...." said Zephyr
"I shall respect your decision as well as your resolve..."
Zephyr touched Marcus' chest with his index finger and chanted...."[Origin Fusion]!!!!!!!!!"
Zephyr turns bright and becomes light, light which was being absorbed by Marcus' body....
Before his light disappeared, Zephyr uttered his final words..."May your resolve to serve for a greater purpose spread hope for those who yearns to be saved by the light....."
Once Zephyr was fully absorbed by Marcus...Marcus underwent a drastic transformation...
His defect was no longer.....he was finally able to access his innate abilities....and that was not all....all of Zephyr's abilities....was obtained by Marcus.
Marcus not only has the abilities of his species, The Mirronians, but also the ability to transform into a 50 meter titan just like Zephyr.
All of his innate abilities as a Mirronian were significantly enhanced, and his abilties have become more numerous than the average Mirronian.
He now had the ability to create blades of light, create mirror clones of himself that could help him fight, he could fly, have access to the Mirror Dimension, and many more....and the most important thing of all.....Marcus inherited the title of Zephyr...
Marcus was now.....the [Mirror Knight].
From the [Origin Fusion] also came Zephyr's experience in the arts of combat and knowledge of the Cosmic Sky.
This filled Marcus with enough knowledge to fight and know the happenings in the Cosmic Sky.
Seeing the chaos that had spread throughout the Cosmos, Marcus immediately went home and got his affairs in order.
After doing such, Marcus wasted no time and went back to the open plains and transforms into the 50ft Titan Form he now calls as [Mirror Knight].
Marcus flies above the atmosphere of Mirrion, and with one last look.....he left....to explore the Cosmos and fulfill his resolve to carry the weight of responsibility that Zephyr had carried.
In his journey, Marcus saved the lives of billions against warmongering civilizations, mediated and settled disputes between civilizations, befriended other [Titled Ones], and slain powerful figures who wish to harm the peace of the Cosmos.
During the First Cosmic-Abyssal War, Marcus was one of the first who fought in the frontlines along with other legendary figures and other [Titled Ones] such as Kyogre the [Glacial Pioneer], [The Unfettered One], and many more.
Marcus witnessed the corruption of the [Angel Primarch], Galadriel and tried to intervene but was interrupted by General Hagorn when he fought Marcus so that the corrupted [Angel Primarch] could escape and wreak havoc throughout the Cosmic Sky.
After the First Cosmic-Abyssal War, Marcus chased the corrupted [Angel Primarch] which was now the [Mad Angel] to prevent him from causing more harm.
Marcus and the [Mad Angel] fought for decades, leaving numerous injuries to both sides....in their last encounter both sides inflicted a severe wound on each other, to which Marcus temporarily retreated to recover his wounds.
Fortunately, the wound dealt by Marcus, became instrumental in the defeat of the [Mad Angel].
While the [Mad Angel] was half-way in recovering his wound, he was ambushed by three [Titled Ones] which were: Sylvanna the [Pyro Archon], [The Unfettered One], and Hermes the [Deity of Speed].
They monopolized the severe injury caused by Marcus and cornered the [Mad Angel] before dealing the final blow, which ended the [Mad Angel]'s reign of terror.
During the Second Cosmic-Abyssal War, Marcus wasn't in the main frontlines of the war but instead headed to multiple galaxies where other invasions of the forces of Abgrund took place and greatly contributed in preventing their success in their invasions, including the galaxy where his homeplanet, Mirrion was located.
From the galaxies that Marcus helped in, the most special one there was in the Myopia Galaxy, as a [Titled One] there was corrupted by an Abyssal General.
The [Titled One] that was corrupted there was named the [Crimson Spear], a [Titled One] who is a master of the spear and has an innate ability to manipulate blood, similar to that of the [Vampires].
Their battle had spread waves of energy that has the power that could potentially destroy planets.
Fortunately, due to Marcus' [Mirror Knight] form and his abilities, he managed to trap the [Crimson Spear] inside a mirror dome and was hurled to a yellow giant star, burning the corrupted [Titled One].
However, the most difficult battle of Marcus was yet to come.....
Now comes the Third Cosmic-Abyssal War.....This was the most special invasion done by the forces of Abgrund during the time...
Instead of invasions, spread throughout the Cosmic Sky....this time, their invasion was concentrated in one supercluster....The Laniakea Supercluster.
This is the galactic supercluster where Marcus and many other [Titled Ones] resides in, along with thousands of civilizations.
Almost all of the [Titled Ones] in the Laniakea Supercluster arrived at the battlefield along with the armies of their most powerful civilizations.....
However, something happened that shocked the entire Cosmos....betrayal....
In the midst of the war, 7 [Titled Ones] had betrayed them and defected to the side of the Abyss...these were....
Amara the [Deity of Love and Seduction],
Thorheim the [Lightning Archon],
Natlan the [Ruthless Blade],
Zoroark the [Necromancer],
Estes the [Monarch of Speed],
Mystak the [Beast Empress],
and, Barbatos the [Wind Demon].
These [Titled Ones] were labeled as the
[7 Sinners of the Cosmos], and together with their might, infused with Abyssal Energy, massacred the Cosmic Forces.
Trillions of lives killed by their hands...hundreds of civilizations turned to ashes.....entire galaxies ripped to shreds.....and tens of [Titled Ones] fallen to their cold blooded attacks.
The most powerful [Titled Ones] of the Laniakea Supercluster gathered to attack the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] head on:
Shândiàn the [Deity of Lightning and Justice],
Devourer Nihility the [Humanoid Leviathan],
Lord Acheron the [Arcane Supreme],
[The Unfettered One],
Esmeralda the [Empress of Ice],
Mecha Avant the [Silver Dragon],
and Marcus the [Mirror Knight].
When the two sides fought, it released shockwaves that destroyed nearby planets and affected nearby systems.
Both sides fought brutally, both with the full intent of eliminating their foes.
Though the [Titled Ones] of the Laniakea Supercluster had the upper hand due to their surprising teamwork and coordination, due to an open Abyssal Portal, the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] had a constant flow of Abyssal Energy, meaning they had a constant supply of boosted power and regeneration.
Without any ways of closing the Abyssal Portal, the [Titled Ones] of the Laniakea Supercluster began losing their upper hand and the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] monopolized it to their advantage.
They were able to inflict multiple severe wounds on [The Unfettered One], rendering him unable to fight for much longer.
Sliced off the left arm of Esmeralda the [Empress of Ice], limiting her combat output.
Finally, they damaged the core of Mecha Avant the [Silver Dragon], losing most of its energy for fighting.
The [Titled Ones] of the Laniakea Supercluster were at a great disadvantage, the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] now looked at them like they were pigs for slaughter.
The remaining uninjured [Titled Ones] tried to fight back but because they were outnumbered and outpowered, they began getting injured as well.
Shândiàn the [Deity of Lightning and Justice] was greatly maimed...Lord Acheron the [Arcane Supreme] was hit so hard by the combined attacks of the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] that he was put into a temporary coma...and Devourer Nihility the [Humanoid Leviathan] had lost all of his limbs...only Marcus the [Mirror Knight] remained slightly injured thanks to the speed granted by enacting [Aspect Transfiguration].
This was it...they were going to fall here....However....just when they thought that all hope was lost....someone came out of the Abyssal Portal....the reformed [Titled One]....[Hyperlight].
Hyperlight created 6 clones of himself and instantly appeared behind the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] undetected and stabbed them in the chest with a blade of light, causing severe damage.
Suddenly an elongated hand made of Abyssal Energy appeared from the Abyssal Portal and grabbed Hyperlight's neck.
The elongated Abyssal Hand pulled Hyperlight back to the Abyssal Portal but before he was pulled, Hyperlight and his clones stabbed the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] once more in the chest before getting pulled, this action made Hyperlight's clones disappear.
Seeing this, Marcus being the only one left that can fight, rushed towards the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] who were regenerating their wounds.
He realized that if he fought them at this point he would still lose because of the Abyssal Portal supplying them with Abyssal Energy.....that's why he decided to risk it all.....
In a desperate effort to prevent them from regenerating their wounds, Marcus trapped them inside the Mirror Dimension along with himself, to prevent them from getting supplied by Abyssal Energy from the Abyssal Portal.
Marcus knew the risk, if he goes out the Mirror Dimension.....they'll be able to escape as well.....enabling them to regenerate by using the Abyssal Energy of the Abyssal Portal.....that's why he trapped himself in the Mirror Dimension along with them...this was it.....the final battle.....he would fight them to the death...and only the winner.....could get out.....
Ever since then....no signs of Marcus and the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] was found.....
What a story....an individual that couldn't access his powers because of a defect, rose to become a [Titled One] by carrying the responsibility of the former [Mirror Knight] on his shoulders and solidifying his resolve to protect the Cosmos and save lives by fighting and eventually sacrificing himself to prevent the [7 Sinners of the Cosmos] to cause further harm....how noble...i am a little envious of the [Mirror Knight]'s qualities...
Well....i guess that concludes the story of Marcus the [Mirror Knight] for now.....once more i thank you all for exploring this story with me and once again.....I am the Narrator....a mere storyteller.....see you next time....
