A long time ago back in the [Ancient Era], there existed figures of unfathomable power known as the [Titled Ones].
Their stories contained feats thought
to be impossible by most and were spread throughout the Cosmic Sky.
Today we shall explore the story of one of these unfathomable figures...
.....The Legend of Sword Maiden.

Not much is known about Sword Maiden's childhood except for the fact that she was an illegitimate child named Yun Xue from a noble clan living in Westeria.
Yun Xue is a Westerian, a humanoid species which is similar to humans except for them having an innate ability called [Weapon Synchronization], which allows them to permanently bind themselves with a weapon and grow stronger along with it.
Yun Xue's clan, the Yun Clan, was a clan of nobility, highly respected by the people due to their unprecedented prowess in the way of the sword.
However, underneath the surface of their might and nobility hides an unwavering desire for purity...the members of the Yun Clan must be of nobility to ensure that their members are born strong.....
One day, a Yun Clan member cheated on his wife and had a one night stand with a lowly maid....which led to the birth of Yun Xue.
The Yun Clan member and the maid decided to keep the origins of her birth a secret and created a lie, which succesfully worked due to his wife not being around.
However, a few years later, the two were found fornicating in a nearby barn when his wife had arrived and searched for him around the vicinity. In rage, the wife reported the two to the clan elders....
When the elders of the Yun Clan found out, they were disgusted.....declaring that Yun Xue's birth is a disgrace and illegitimate which could affect the clan's integrity and would stain the clan's purity.
Therefore as punishment for such a "disgusting" act.....the Yun Clan member was crippled and imprisoned until death.....the maid was presented to the other members of the clan and made an example of before being executed by the wife herself.....and finally, Yun Xue was disowned by the clan....left with nothing....but a sword...
Yun Xue though still a child at the age of 11, had exceptional intelligence and understood the reasoning of her disownment.
She didn't bear hatred towards her father's wife as her actions were justifiable nor did she bear hatred towards her parents because of their affair as it did led to her birth, but she did disliked the clan's obsession with purity.
Now alone, Yun Xue decided to become an adventurer so that she may be able to earn a living.
Fortunately for Yun Xue, she was taught swordsmanship by her fellow clan members and with her exceptional intelligence and inherited talent....her skills in the sword was astonishing for an 11 year old.
Yun Xue quickly made a name for herself as an adventurer. In just 1 month, she was promoted to a Bronze-Tier Adventurer from a Copper-Tier Adventurer....the fastest adventuer and especially the youngest to recieve a promotion throughout the region.
She was titled as a [Sword Prodigy] by her fellow adventurers, a title which would strike fear to her enemies.
However, Yun Xue didn't let the fame get over her head as she knew that she was still very weak.
Only through training, fighting, and risking her life would she be able to grow stronger.
As said by the ancients..."For one to gain strength, one must first suffer."
Years passed, through her determination to become stronger, Yun Xue became strong enough to become a Gold-Tier Adventurer.
When she became a Gold-Tier Adventurer, she was recruited by a man named Edward to join his party of four to venture off to an adventure to defeat the biggest threat of Westeria....Kaido.
Kaido is a powerful individual from a humanoid species named [Draconoid], a species descending from the near extinct species, the [Dragons].
Due to Kaido being a [Draconoid], the innate physical capabilties and abilties granted by his species had given him power nearing to that of a [Titled One].
From the stars, Kaido arrived to Westeria with the intentions of conquest. If he were able to conquer Westeria, he would gain enough achievements to increase his dimensionality to finally become a [Titled One].
Yun Xue accepted and joins Edward's party. The party known as "The Adventurers' Party" consisted of:
[Berserker Axeman], Edward
[Immovable Shield], Himmel
[Perfect Archer], Sylvia
[Quick Spear], Matthew
and finally, [Sword Prodigy], Yun Xue.
For almost six years, together they explored Westeria, fighting monsters, saving towns and villages, and making their party known throughout the lands.
Their journey made them significantly stronger than before, becoming Platinum-Tier Adventurers, nearing the last adventurer rank, the Titanium-Tier.
Most especially, in their journey, Edward and Yun Xue falls in love and eventually got married, through which the party's bond became stronger than ever.
As this was happening....on the other side of Westeria, Kaido had already conquered 1/2 of the entire world.
The kingdoms and clans mustered their forces and formed an army totaling 2.5 million to fight against the single, Kaido.
Unfortunately for them, Kaido was too powerful, wiping out tens of thousands per day, and eliminating the entire 2.5 million soldiers in just 2 and a half months.
This feat shocked the kingdoms and clans lf Westeria...in a desperate move, they compiled their entire treasuries and gathered enough money to hire all the adventurers ranging from Gold-Tier up to Titanium-Tier.
The hired adventurers gathered in the center of Westeria to enact a head on assault on Kaido. With their forces reaching 10,000 which consists of adventurers who are considered as the best of best, their confidence skyrocketed and their morale was at an all time high.
Before they enacted their attack, all the Titanium-Tier Adventurers gathered in a secret meeting area.
These group consisted of 50 adventurers, including the now Titanium-Tier Adventurer's Party created by Edward.
Their plan was to use the Gold-Tier Adventurers as cannonfodder to test the combat power of Kaido, the Platinum-Tier Adventurers as the second wave of attack to potentially injure Kaido to give them an upper hand, while the Titanium-Tier Adventurers will be the main force that will attack once they get a clear estimation on Kaido's strength.
Though it was cruel and wrong, all of them agreed to the plan because of the risks. If they were to fail....it would mean that Westeria will surely fall to Kaido's hand.
The next day at dawn, the army of adventurers enacted their attack on Kaido with the Gold-Tier Adventurers enacting the first wave.
This time, Kaido had a difficult time against his enemies as Gold-Tier Adventurers were significantly stronger than regular soldiers.....However, Kaido wasn't gonna go down that easily....in just 2 weeks.....all of the first wave adventurers that were turned into cannonfodder were killed.....leaving Kaido with minor injuries.....
When the Platinum-Tier Adventurers attacked, their efforts proved to be more succesful as it left Kaido with injuries that were more than minor and made him exhausted...Unfortunately it did not stop Kaido from massacring all of the Platinum-Tier Adventurers.
All that was left was the 50 Titanium-Tier Adventurers....they needed to win.....if not.....they all die.....not just the people...but the whole of Westeria...
Under the leadership of Edward and his party, these adventurers fought Kaido with sheer ferocity, lasting for days...to weeks.
Day by day, an adventurer falls and Kaido sustain more injuries than before...against all the 50 Titanium-Tier Adventurers, Kaido was having the most difficulty against the "The Adventurer's Party"
Their teamwork and coordination were forged from over half a decade's worth of journeying throughout Westeria. They knew each of their strengths and weaknesses and together they were a force to be reckoned with.
However....Kaido had a trick up his sleeves.....you see Kaido's strength was nearing that of a [Titled One], only needing to gain enough achievements to increase his dimensionality to become one...and from slaying the 2.5 million soldiers, the Gold-Tier Adventurers, and the Platinum-Tier Adventurers....this feat gained him enough dimensionality to finally become a [Titled One].
With a menacing grin, Kaido became a [Titled One] in front of the adventurers.....Kaido was now....the [Draconoid Conqueror].
With his newfound strength, Kaido quickly gained the upper hand and drives the remaining Titanium-Tier Adventurers along with the Adventurers' Party into a corner...
One by one, Kaido killed them with a punch through the chest.....then he turned his approach towards the Adventurers' Party, the ones who gave him the most difficult time in fighting against.
Kaido destroys Himmel's Shield, making him tremble in fear before gettig his skull crushed by Kaido.
He rips Sylvia's arms off and taking out her eyes, rendering her unable to use her bow permanently, showering her with despair before being beheaded by Kaido.
He used Matthew's own spear to pierce through all of his vital points, mocking the techniques of the man regarded as the [Quick Spear].
However, when it was Yun Xue's turn...Edward took the hit for her, receiving a punch that pierced through his heart.
Yun Xue cried in despair, seeing her friends and her most beloved being brutally killed in front of her eyes...
Even the feeling of being disowned by her clan wasn't comparable to the despair she was experiencing right now....
Was there truly nothing that could stop Kaido?...will Westeria fall under this conqueror's hands?...would this place be where she.....her husband....and her friends would die.....knowing they failed...
When it seemed to be her final moments....something changed within her....her origin had awakened...her dimensionality had surged.....her power skyrocketed...her limits.....no longer bounded her.....she was now.....a [Titled One].....the rise.....of the [Sword Maiden]
Through her achievements as the [Sword Prodigy], through the tens of thousands of lives that she and her friends had saved over the years, and her love for her husband and her companions.....it triggered the awakening of her origin that led to the surge of dimensionality that led her....to become the [Sword Maiden]...
As Kaido was about to deliver the final blow...Yun Xue sliced off Kaido's arm into two....
Kaido was mind-boggled...how did a woamn who was about to die under his hands, suddenly transforms into a [Titled One]???
Kaido became wary of Yun Xue and used his full power to fight her.
The two [Titled Ones] clashed, creating shockwaves that could be felt for miles and destroying the nearby grounds...
They leapes into skies and enacted their clash there, the collision of fist and sword created sparks.....through every strike, both sides are wounded....both sides were at a stalemate....but not for long...
By the second, Yun Xue began to become more synchronized with her sword, increasing her power.....she used her despair from the deaths of her husband and companions and turned it into motivation to fight....motivation....to power...and each through each collision of both sides, Yun Xue continued to increase the output of her power...quickly gaining the upper hand.....
In order to combat this, Kaido used his innate ability and became a dragon...boosting his power for a limited time....
Yu Xue began losing.....being barraged with Kaido's strikes, she was sent back to the ground, creating a huge crater.
She was severely injured.....however...that did not stop her...
She left the crater and leaped towards the skies...today.....
a woman shall slay a dragon...
Kaido still in his dragon form, opened his mouth and gathered his remaining energy to create a ray of fire.
Meanwhile, Yun Xue knowing that due to her injuries won't be able to gather enough energy to block the attack, let alone slay Kaido, gathered her remaining energy and along with it her life force and origin to be infused inside her sword...to deliver a powerful slash....her...final attack.....
Both released their attacks at the same time.....and when it collided.....Yun Xue's attack splits Kaido's attack in half...and along with it...Kaido himself....
Kaido...the [Draconoid Conqueror] who came to Westeria with the intentions of conquering it to become a [Titled One] which was successful...had lost to a Westerian who became a [Titled One] not through conquest.....but through saving lives with her companions and through her love for her husband.....
Yun Xue, now dying...was falling from the sky.....and crash landed back to the crater where she was severely injured by Kaido...in her final moments...she reminisced her entire life.....she died with a smile on her face.....
Wow...What a story.....when it seemed that all hope was lost....love prevailed and won the battle...inspiring....truly inspiring...
