Life sucks.
Love hurts and friends? Well, never place your life in their hands!
He was never one to indulge in drinks and parties in particular. He was what they call a good boy. A triangle type; College, Church, Home.
It was that one time and he only needed to drink for his sanity for the pain and humiliation was just too much to bear but, he could see how that was such a dumb decision when the morning light was registered to his barely opened eyes. It wasn't that great to drink anyway and the hangover? Way worse.
"Damn!" Cursed Aiden before sucking in a breath and closing his eyes once more and a pillow to his face. He's not drinking ever again. God punishes disobedience in mysterious ways indeed.
"Thank God, you are alive!" Aiden heard a relieved voice in his room and some light feet taps on his floor towards him that was all it took to welcome the headache and nausea.
"Who the hell are you?!" Questioned Aiden backing to the corner of the bed where he realized that he too was naked and decided to cover himself with a pillow.
A man was inside his apartment. A man he doesn't know and they are naked. What else does the Lord have to do to remind Aiden of his promise to alcohol intake?. And to think that it was a one time thing, He can be cruel, right?
"Uhm, honey? That's my line" Supplied the stranger seemingly confused and concerned looking back at the stacks of papers in his hands seriously before looking back at Aiden, "You were supposed to smile and say, 'Barely'".
"What are you doing in my room?" Asked Aiden visibly alarmed and confused hugging his naked body glaring daggers at the stranger to not make his next step towards him.
"Okay, now you just sound crazy. What will you be having for breakfast? Whiskey? Some shots. Margarita. Cocktails...?" Inquired the stranger walking to the kitchen side, buck naked making Aiden feel like maybe... just maybe, it could be him that was the one tripping there.
Was it the alcohol amnesia thing? But, the night before was the first time he ever sipped on anything alcoholic. Or was he...dare to say, Dreaming at the moment?. Oh, how he wished for that to be true.
"Oh, before I forgot...Jake called" He heard the stranger once he reached the kitchen stand looking back at Aiden.
"Who's Jake?" Asked Aiden once again confused. Why did the stranger make it seem like he was crazy?
"How many Jakes do you know?" Retorted the stranger with his hands on his hips. He was the nagging type for sure and even though Aiden didn't remember shit about him and the said Jake but, he felt drawn to him. That's his type, right there.
Or maybe it could be that he was hard and crazy horny at that moment, Wait, "_I'm gay?" Blurted out Aiden startling the stranger who simply played along,"What? Wow! Congratulations, I'm gay too!"
"You think this is a joke? A stranger in my bed?" Questioned Aiden with a glare. Now he was angry and confused and very much not feeling the AC level inside. It was cold as whatever.
"There's a stranger in our bed?" Peeked the stranger to the bed alarmed,
"NO! Not there... You are the stranger here!" Said Aiden seriously hoping to get his point across. Shit just got too real too fast.
"But, I'm not in bed" Replied the stranger simply, looking at Aiden like he was going crazy by the second.
"What's your name?" Questioned Aiden in his no nonsense tone.
"Philip? But, I wasn't complaining when you called me Phi Phi Baby last night" Replied the stranger somewhat bashful with the blushes and everything making Aiden cringe on the inside. Like hell?
"Did we...? Are we...? What are we?" Asked Aiden holding his breath, bracing himself for whatever was coming.
Be it a drunken mistake or a repressed sexuality, he decided to be whatever Philip will answer and nothing less.
Whether he liked it or not Philip was his responsibility.
