Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

Xiang sat down, crying. "How can you people take me away from my master? I'm not even his disciple, but a master. How can you keep me away from yourself? Don't you like me even a little? Did you not have any faith in me?" She spent the whole night sitting there. The next day, when she woke up, she noticed that many people in the village were speaking ill of her. Some were calling her bad, while others speculated that the attack on her the previous day might have been a form of protection, as she was spared from death. But no one knew why she was left alive. Immediately, the villagers started telling her that she should leave because she was a demon, and it was impossible for her to live among humans. Some of them grabbed her and imprisoned her.

Xiang couldn't understand anything. She sat there quietly, as if everything had been taken away from her. Just then, Doming appeared and shouted, "Who dares to speak about burning Xiang? Do you even know who she is?" He rushed towards the villagers, saving her from them. "Why don't you take care of yourself? Look at what's happened to you. Come with me," he said. He took her away, as she had a high fever and her body was burning with heat. Doming continued, "You should live with us now. You don't deserve to be with him. Your heart is so pure, but he only trusts Lap. If someone even thinks of doing something wrong, he kills them. Wen Shia is not trustworthy. He abandoned you." He provoked her deeply, but Xiang, exhausted, didn't respond. She simply turned to the side and pretended to sleep, though she wasn't really asleep—she just didn't want to talk to him.

Meanwhile, Wen Shia was very sad and remained silent. He did his work quietly, missing Xiang deeply, though he never let anyone see his pain. A few people could sense his sadness. One day, Swarga Devi approached him and asked, "Why do you stay silent? You should talk to people and control yourself. Do you miss Xiang? If you do, you should meet her and talk things over. She is a good-hearted person and will never do anything wrong. Perhaps she's afraid you'll leave her, which is why she's acting this way. You need to talk to her." Wen Shia immediately rejected her advice. "I don't miss her. I haven't heard anything from her. If you think she's wrong, then she is wrong," he said. Swarga Devi tried to convince him, but Wen Shia wouldn't listen and left.

Then, the Heavenly God appeared before him. "I have given you a gift of one day. You still haven't found the stone. Where could it be?"

Wen Shia replied, "We've searched the world, but we haven't found any trace of it. No one knows about the stone. I believe it's been destroyed."

The Heavenly God responded, "The stone is neither in this world nor anywhere else. If it were destroyed, the world would have been annihilated. As long as the stone exists, there can never be any destruction. It's the most powerful Element Stone, able to control everything—be it a person, a song, water, or anything else. It can control anyone."

Wen Shia said, "Then I will go out into the world once more, but this time, I'll do so as an ordinary person. No one must know my true identity. And you must not tell anyone about this."

The Heavenly God agreed, and Wen Shia set out into the world disguised as an ordinary human. Meanwhile, Xiang's condition worsened. Her powers were slipping beyond her control. Sometimes it was due to illusions, and at other times, external influences, but she was growing weaker every day as her body became frail.
