Li Jun decide since the carriage is not badly damaged except for the windows are damaged and the arrows that are embedded in the wall, they can use it till they reach the capital. "This will show the people how much we have to go through to get what everyone needs! I have been through the danger and the hardship!" Li Jun yell from his caravan as they move along with the army of Li Cheng
"Stop acting brother. You have not been through any hardship. I think you are rather comfortable on your journey. "
As the brothers bartering their conversation, Banou is looking around and she sees the injured soldiers are helped by their own comrades on the shoulders either hopping or dragging them. While some are laying on top of the goods on the carriage. Banou tap Li Jun's shoulder and interrupt his conversation. "Where is Aylin?"
"Ah Lin? are you asking about her?" She nod her head. He point to the direction of the capital. "She should be there with Ah Mu. She is safe with him don't worry. AH LIN, AH MU" After saying so much he knows that she doesn't understand till he mentioned the names and he keep pointing the direction. Banou then smile and nod her head. She feels happier to know her friend is somewhere safe. Her legs swings on the edge of the caravan as Li Jun drives it.
Li Cheng who is riding the horse occasionally turn around to see if the group is following behind. His eyes will land on Banou. He watch her read her book beside his bother. He wonder who is she and why she is with his brother. Li Jun seeing his brother is looking at Banou clears his throat loudly.
'She is pretty but you have to watch where you are heading my brother. "
Li Cheng quickly look to the front and ride ahead with the men. Just right before the sun sets, they finally reach the capital of the great Tang Dynasty. What Banou sees before her is the golden glow of the Tang capital. When the caravan stop moving she is still staring at the beautiful sight. It reminds her when she was a little girl, she stood on top of a bridge in the castle to see the glowing golden sun set on the desert. It was a sight that warm her heart and soul. Now the glow in the great Tang warms her heart. She hopes that this is a place that she can spend her reminding of her life.
Li Jun see his beauty in a daze and walk near her. He look up to the direction she is staring at. "So it is remind you of home? This is your home now. I will keep you safe. I cannot marry you but you can be one of the many woman that i have."
He reach out and hold her hand. Banou is started at his action stare at his man. She wonder in her mind that does she dislike him and or is she grateful for him to bring her here. The men around are standing around waiting for Li Cheng to clear the paper works at the front main gate. They watch this foreign beauty with the prince.
"They in love or what?" One of the solider asked as he chew on the grass in his mouth.
