This time the caravan doesn't lead the way. The soldiers that comes in from the capital with their heavy weapons escort the goods and the caravan back to the capital. The journey there, nothing seems too different. Aylin and Ah Mu continue their none existing conversations. While Li Jun and Banou continue to read their books. Everything is in peace till suddenly there are men screaming outside and an arrow shot past the curtains and ended in the caravan. "Come here Banou!" She crawl her way to him and hid behind the casing that contains books. Li Jun pick up his bow and arrow and walk to the curtains. She watch as he shoots from where he stands. She keep telling herself to be calm suddenly she remember Aylin who is supposed to be sitting at the front with Ah Mu who is driving the caravan. "Aylin!!" She yell her loudest for the sound of the attackers are near. The window bedside her is slash open by soldiers who are attacking and defending. "AH MU!! Take the horse!! Go ride as fast as you can to the capital! We are quite close to there now. GO!!"
Ah mu nod his head and he sees a frighten Aylin. He host her up the hose and release the reins. Together with Aylin they ride off. Li Jun keep shooting the arrows to make the path clear for Ah Mu to ride away. The caravan on the left side begin to split open down. "Ban Nu!" He signal her to come near him. She swallow her breath and make her way to him. Li Jun have her cover by his back. He continue to shoot when the chances comes up. The soldiers are strong and have good attack and defence skills. They went on for a while till the thunder sound of many horses is heard approaching. The ones who are attacking start to back off and they rush back into the forrest. Li Jun who have been shooting for awhile collapsed and sit down. Banou who is standing behind got shock and check if he got injured.
"Brother Jun!" A man is yelling at the top this voice after he command his men to chase after the attackers. He jump off from his horse and run towards the caravan. When he push open the curtains he is shock to see a foreign girl sitting beside Li Jun. "Are you fine? Are you injured?" He check Li Jun. "No not injured. Just tired. I have not been pulling the archery bow for sometime. My finger hurts. See" He raise his hand to show his fingers that have the tension lines from the bow. "God, this is nothing! So dramatic. When i see Ah Mu riding towards the capital gate alone i thought that you are in grave danger! Look at you! Not a scratch! " His eyes goes back to the Persian girl. "Why your taste in woman have change after just 2 years?" Banou too stare at this young man who is talking to Li Jun. They look alike. Except that this man is more youthful, muscular and maybe shorter in height. However his eyes are very expressive. To her, it seems like his eyes are shiny dark pearls. She shyly look down to avoid in staring too much.
"Li Cheng! Stop staring at her and help me up!"
