Three months later.
In the forest safe zone at the south of the town of El'goroth a battle was ending. If someone was to be watching this they would call it a massacre instead of a battle. On the ground a large number of corrupted animals were all dead. There was a bear, fox, bogs and wolves all in their pool of their own blood. The reason for this slaughter was a 17 year old elf. He had long black hair, with beautiful black eyes. He used two sabers and moved like a man with at least 50 years of experience in the act of battle. Multiple creatures of different races dying from his blades. Time from time a shadow figure would appear and slaughter a few more. These animals regretting rushing here due to the smell of blood. They took this would be a good and easy launch but were trapped.
After a few minutes the last of the creatures took its last breath. A total of 15 corrupted animals laid dead on the ground. The boy now having the time to breathe and recollect himself left the site immediately after. He appeared a few metres away and went up a tree. He sat on a branch and relaxed.
Name: Alexander Vale
Race: Elf
Level 82
Rank: Awakened (Apex stage)
Mana: 62/90
Attitude: Shadow
Blessing: Shadow Monarch
It had been three months ever since his defeat to the goblin and he had grown strong since then. When his shadow was destroyed it affected his soul and he could do anything for two weeks until it was recovered. This shadow was also brought back. After recovering he immediately began to train again. He would go to the forest safe zones. He didn't dear to go to the western safe zone and only went to the others. He kept this up until he reached level 50 and became an Apex stage Awakened. His mana increase since then.
He was the first to reach this stage in the academy after spending 8 months studying. This caused the other students to wake up and also train harder.
Currently, with a total of 450 students. There was 330 that were at the Ascension stage and only 15 at the Apex stage including Alexander. The rest were still at the Initiation stage.
After a few minutes of rest he jumped from the tree and landed safely on the ground. He then walked towards the exit of the safe zone. He walked to his house and went straight to his room. He laid on his bed and sighed.
"I feel like am close to breaking the rank of the Awakened stage." He closed his eyes and felt his soul and mana essence raising at an incredible rate.
"This is good. Now I can start my plan and get my revenge."
He said was a devilish smile.

The following day Alexander got ready and felt for the Academy. His carriage dropped him at the gate and after taking only three steps two boys his age came to him. They were identical twins and had short red hair and big round eyes.
"Good morning Alexander." The one at the right greeted. Alexander only nodded and walked forward. The twins followed behind while trying to make small talk. They escorted Alexander to his class and bid farewell.
Alexander went to his seat and waited for their teacher, Instructor Lyrien. As he sat there he saw a boy with brown short hair talking to a couple of his mates. There was about seven students surrounding this boy and it looked like he was telling them a story.
"Then with my Apex Awakened skills, I ended the bear with a strike from my great sword." The boy finished his story and everyone praised him.
"Incredible, Eryndor. You are so powerful. I envy you so much." One of the people around Eryndor said.
"Don't envy me, use me as a mountain you can clam to advance in life." Eryndor said and everyone nodded. "Alright guess let's continue this next time after class is over."
Just as everyone sat in their seats, Instructor Lyrien entered with the same aura as always. "Let's begin the class."
After the class was over and instructor Lyrien left, some left for lunch while some surrounded Eryndor ready for another story. Just as Eryndor was about to start he noticed someone approaching the group.
Alexander stopped right in front of the group and released a small amount of his aura making them a little uncomfortable especially Eryndor. He left seven seconds after and went to lunch.
Alexander took his lunch and went to his table were no one dared to sit. He ate for a while before Eryndor sat in front of him as well. Eryndor with his lunch took a glance at Alexander before starting to eat. He ate quickly and drank some juice he had taken. Afterward he was done he looked at Alexander who was waiting for him.
"So, what do you want?" Eryndor asked.
"I want to make a team or a group with only Apex stages." Alexander, not beating around the bush exclaim his goal to Eryndor. Eryndor glance at Alexander and looked in his eyes. Seeing the seriousness in Alexander's eyes he nodded in satisfaction.
"So since I have been informed, it means I have been nominated." Eryndor chuckle a little before looking at Alexander again. "Sure, sounds fun. But I hope you know that the others aren't going to be think easy."
Alexander nodded and sat back with a smile. "I know. And I have a plan." He paused before continuing. "You should understand that I am craving a benefit from this and I have a huge goal we will have to complete before anyone joins and backs out."
Eryndor now a little interested pulled closer to Alexander.
"I wish for us...if there will be an us. I want to...kill...a...1st form beast." Alexander said slowly and tried to avoid people from hearing but Eryndor did the opposite.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOU MIND!!!"
Everyone around looked that the duo wondering what was going on.
"Sit down you idiot." Alexander said with a sigh.
"Please tell me you are just joking. Don't be greedy with this little power we have." Eryndor said.
He knew that they were close to being warrior class but still to think of fighting this beast was something else. Being in the Awakened rank just meant they were stronger than regular people and nothing else well those at the warrior rank were seen as powerful figures that one warrior rank could kill a hundred regular people with their hands alone. Of course this depended on the class of the said warrior.
Corrupted beasts were the same they were just stronger than regular animals by a bit. And 1st form beast and above were at least 5 times stronger than corrupted animals.
Alexander kept a clam tone and said. " Listen, this is something I want not something that has to be done." He kept quiet for a while before sighing. "Am close to breaking through, I can feel it and I need to fight stronger beings to do that." Eryndor was immediately shocked. It had only been nine months since they were awaken and Alexander was already breaking through. "It may sound selfish but this will help you as well. Of course you could stand and walk away making things a little difficult for me to break through but let me tell you this I will break through by the end of this year with or without you."
Alexander sat back and watched as Eryndor kept thinking about what to do. This was a big decision to make and there was a lot of peaks as well as demerits. For example, death. If they wanted to grow stronger then they needed to fight stronger opponents and those opponents could kill him.
A smile drew on his face as he looked up at Alexander.
"Well, am running out of stories to tell and this sounds like an adventure.
