Alexander took a deep breath before lashing at the rabbit. The rabbit being a quick creative tried to avoid it but Alexander already predicted this and used his right hand with the sabre to strike the creatives neck killing it immediately.
That the next moment a dog appeared on the stage opposite him. Before he could move the dog was on the attack. He sidestepped and using his mana manipulation he focus it in his left leg throwing a powerful kick to the dogs belly. The bog was sent flying. Alexander not wanting the dog to get it's balance engage it again.
He jumped high in the sky trying to use his sabre to end to dog. The dog seeing the human in midair panicked causing its life to end. Alexander stood up and exhaled. He stood there waiting until a black looking snake appeared before him. He raised his sabres ready to battle. This creature had not been defeated by anyone till now.
Alexander smiled deeply before closing his eyes. The snake seeing that the human was not attacking decided to attack. It limped towards Alexander with it's fangs showing. When it was five feet from Alexander, suddenly Alexander's shadow moved. The shadow raises and covers the eyes of the snake. The snake not being able to see at the last moment panics and falls missing it's target. Alexander using the opportunity strikes the snake cutting off it's head.
Everyone watches in surprise and wonder. The undefeated snake is no longer undefeated. Alexander stands on his feet and sighs. He no longer had any mana and the creatives would only get tougher. He looks at the direction of his teacher.
"I am out of mana. I can't continue." He exclaims.
Instructor Lyrien, finally coming back to the world blinks and smiles.
"Well done boy. But I hope you noticed that it wasn't how you use your mana that was the problem but the amount you have. The stronger you get the more mana you will have and last longer in battle." Alexander gets off the stage and bows before going to the back to rest. Instructor Lyrien on the other hand sighs deeply. 'What the hell! We didn't expect anyone to pass the snake. If it wasn't for the fact that he doesn't have mana then...ahhhh. Nevermind that, this kid isn't half bad.'
Alexander on the other hand is sitting on the ground cross-legged and recovering my mana.
'If I hadn't learnt that trick then that snake would have beaten me for sure.' Alexander thought.
He opened his screen status again.
Name: Alexander
Race: Elf
Level 4
Class: Awakened Elf
Mana: 2/5
Attribute: Shadow
'You have got to be kidding me, after all that and only two levels?' Alexander sighs defeated.
"Hey system, could you tell me the stages of power in this world again?" Alexander asked.
A screen appeared in front of him immediately displaying the information he needed.
1. Awakened
2. Warrior
3. Elite
4. Master
5. Grandmaster
6. Saint
7. Transcendent
'Seven levels of power, and if I am to be a god then I have to surpass this levels. What the hell.' Alexander's head began to hurt. 'This is so unfair, lucky elf live a long life so when am fifty I will be in my prime while in my old world most are thinking of retiring.'
He then place his hand on his chin and started to think. 'If I remember correctly each stage has and small step. These are Initiation, Ascension, and Apex. And I am now only begining the Initiation step.'
As Alexander was wondering about his difficult life, the battle program had ended. He walked up to the stage and his teacher Lyrien is on the stage looking down at his students.
"Congratulations on your first battle. Train harder and maybe you will be able to go beyond the snake." He said with a proud expression. "Now since Alexander was the only on to be able to defeat the snake he gets first position and a reward. Come forward Alexander."
Alexander goes to the stage were Lyrien gives him a bag. He opens it to see moonstones inside.
Moonstones were the worldly currency of this world. They were used for many things. Exchange of goods, creation of weapons, and increase in mana since they had little mana in them.
"Though you are not financially troubled. This can help you increase your mana especially at your stage." Lyrien says. There was a total of 4 stones in side the bag. Alexander received the bag and thanked his teacher before leaving the stage.
"Now, then since this is all done we will continue the lesson after lunch. We are moving to an important topic so don't be late."
Lyrien said as he dismissed his students for lunch.
======
Lyrien looked at everyone in the class before starting. "Since everyone is here let's begin. We will be talking about the blessing of the kings." Lyrien began to explain.
"Imagine a world where legendary historical figures, known as the Kings, have left behind a lasting impact. These powerful beings, each with their unique abilities and strengths, have transcended time, and their essence lives on.
The Kings were remarkable individuals who excelled in their respective fields. They were battle mages, warriors, and leaders who wielded extraordinary power. Examples include the Fire Lord, Spear priest, Wind King, Water Queen, Sword lord, and Earth Queen, among many others.
The Blessing of the Kings is a unique gift bestowed upon individuals who embody the same attitudes, values, and strengths as the legendary Kings. This blessing is not limited to bloodline or heritage; rather, it's a spiritual connection that awakens within those who share the Kings' essence.
There are different types of blessings, including:
1. The Blessing of the Kings: The most powerful and rare blessing, reserved for those who embody the Kings' attitudes and strengths.
2. The Blessing of the Warriors and Knights: A lesser blessing, granted to those who possess the bravery, loyalty, and honor of the warriors and knights who served the Kings.
3. The Favor of the Kings: A special consideration or protection bestowed upon individuals who have earned the respect and admiration of the Kings.
The Blessing of the Kings is a powerful and mysterious force that awakens within individuals who embody the strengths and attitudes of the legendary Kings. This blessing is a rare gift, reserved for those who are worthy, and it sets them apart as extraordinary beings with a deep connection to the past."
