Chapter 86 - Chapter86. If You Have a Weak Stomach, Eat, Be Good

"It's not that I'm being harsh, but if you wanted to see him, why didn't you do it before? After disappearing for so many years, what does it mean to suddenly show up now? Moreover, William is a person, not an object that you can take when you want and discard when you don't. William is a very good person, and he would be better off without you, so please don't show up again."

Scarlett clenched her hand around the thermos, and she said, "I will wait for the day William forgives me."

After she finished speaking, she left with Ashley in her arms.

Daniel was so angry he felt like smoke was coming out of his head. What was going on? Why did she always haunt William like a persistent ghost?

What was she so stubborn about?

Bringing her current child over, wasn't that just going to make William even more upset?

Hao Ming could guess more or less what was happening and was also speechless. He looked at Daniel, whose face was flushed with anger, and said, "Don't be angry."

Daniel speechlessly said, "Mason, I'm really speechless. William already has a weak stomach, and she keeps bothering him. William probably won't eat lunch again."

Hao Ming remembered what just happened and was also speechless. He said, "I'm also speechless, but let's buy lunch first."

...

"Ellie, could you do me a favor?"

Ellie looked at him and said, "What's up?"

Daniel briefly described the situation and then said, "If I persuade him, William definitely won't eat."

After listening to him, Ellie frowned slightly and said, "Where's the lunch?"

Daniel handed the lunch to Ellie and said, "It's up to you, Ellie."

"Okay."

William was looking down at the problem, unable to concentrate on a single one for a long time.

He was already annoyed, and now he was even more annoyed.

Suddenly, the book on his desk was taken away. William looked up at Ellie and said, "What's going on?"

Ellie put the lunch on his desk and said, "Stop looking at the problem, eat first."

William met her gaze and didn't say anything.

"You have a weak stomach, you must eat, be good."

William heard the word "good" at the end, and it felt like she was coaxing a child.

He said, "I'll eat."

Ellie smiled then, put the lunch on his desk, and said, "I'll keep an eye on the teacher for you later."

William said, "Thank you, Little Teacher."

Daniel saw William eating and let out a sigh of relief, then gave Ellie a thumbs-up.

It had to be his Ellie.

Ellie just smiled at him.

William ate a few mouthfuls of rice and heard Ellie say, "I heard from Daniel."

Ellie looked at him as he stopped eating and looked at her, and said, "Keep eating while you listen to me, the teacher will be here soon."

"No one is a complete saint, and I'm not that generous either. If I were you, I wouldn't forgive, and I wouldn't want to see her at all."

"Is Little Teacher giving me advice?"

"Not really." Ellie glanced at him and then said, "Actually, it is a bit."

"I feel comforted." After William said this, Ellie laughed.

She said, "But don't let this too affect your mood and not eat, okay?"

William said, "Is Little Teacher looking after me?"

Ellie watched him eat and said, "Yes."

William said, "I'll listen to Little Teacher."

Hearing him say this, Ellie felt a strange tickle in her heart.

...

During the nap.

Ellie suddenly turned a direction while asleep.

William stared at Ellie's profile for a long time.

Her skin was very good, almost flawless, and even the fine hairs on her face were visible. Her eyelashes were long, curled, and perked up.

William stared at her for a while, saw her eyelashes tremble slightly, as if she was about to wake up, then closed his eyes, pretending he was asleep.

...

The first class in the afternoon was Mr. Johnson's. He entered the class with a joyful smile on his face and said to the students, "Classmates, this time our class has surpassed Class 18, we are no longer last."

"Yay."

"Hahaha, the perennial last place finally turned over."

"That's great."

Mr. Johnson looked at the students and said, "Quiet, quiet, this is a good start. I hope you can achieve better results in the final exams."

"Okay!"

Class 17 was in high spirits, while Class 18 was gloomy on the other side.

The head teacher of Class 18 said, "We can't let Class 17 ride over us next time. Are you confident for the next exam?"

"Yes!"

The next exam, it's going to be another battle between the perennial second to last and the perennial last for the second to last spot.

...

In the evening.

William finished the last biology question, and it was already past eleven at night.

He looked at Ellie, who was still writing questions in the camera, and didn't have the heart to disturb her.

Ellie finished her questions, looked up and met William's gaze, and said, "Finished?"

William nodded and said, "Yes, but I don't quite understand some of the questions."

"It's okay, I'll explain them to you."

Ellie explained the questions to him, and Coco squatted on William's shoulder, staring at the phone screen intently, listening carefully.

After Ellie finished, William looked at Coco and said, "Did you understand?"

Coco meowed, seemingly saying he understood.

Ellie looked at the person and the cat in the camera and couldn't help but laugh. She said, "That's it for today."

William said, "Thank you for your hard work, Little Teacher." He finished speaking, looked at the materials in his hand, and said to Ellie, "I think I'll finish these by the winter vacation."

Ellie said, "I'll get you new ones, the basic version."

"Sounds good."

Ellie looked at Coco next to her and hesitated to say, "Has he... gained weight? The clothes were a bit big when I bought them, but now they seem to fit just right."

William glanced at Coco and said, "Of course, he eats a lot, should probably change his name to Piggy."

Coco, hearing him say bad things about himself, squirmed in his arms.

Ellie laughed and said, "It's good to eat more, being chubby is cute."

William laughed, "You should eat more too." He felt she didn't weigh much when he carried her to the infirmary before.

Ellie said, "Okay."

William wanted to say something more but heard what seemed to be a phone ringing from Ellie's side.

Ellie said, "I'll check a message."

"Okay."

After she finished reading the message, she said to William, "You go to sleep first, I'll discuss a question with him and then sleep."

Without saying, William knew who the 'him' was.

He said very unhappily, "I'll wait for Little Teacher to sleep."

EllieLandon roughly explained her thoughts, and the two had many ideas that matched, only with some minor disagreements later.

[Landon]: I heard you ranked third in the school again, congratulations.

[Ellie]: Thank you.

After sending this, Ellie realized she had forgotten to hang up the video call.

She looked at the person and the cat staring at her and said, "I'm done talking."

William still said unhappily, "Okay." After he finished speaking, he suddenly realized and said, "Did you guys usually talk on video? Did I interrupt you?"

His last sentence was a bit sour.

Ellie said blankly, "No, I'm not familiar with him, we just write on paper and look at each other's ideas."

William said, "So Little Teacher only video calls with me?"

"Yes."

Hearing her answer, William curled his lips and said, "Rest soon, Little Teacher."

"Good night, Coco."

"What about me?"

"Good night to you too."
