Ellie said, "I haven't used that piece of paper."
William replied, "I know." After speaking, he smiled with a bit of a rogueish charm and said, "So what if you did use it?"
Ellie knew he was teasing her again, so she simply didn't respond.
If Daniel were here, he would be shocked out of his wits.
William, who would scrub his cup several times even when drinking water, now says, "So what if I did?"
Are feelings really selective towards people?
After wiping off his sweat, William twisted open the bottle of water and took a few gulps. The water flowed down his neck, tracing over his prominent Adam's apple, exuding an indescribable sexiness.
Sarah stood behind, watching the two, surprisingly feeling that they had an inexplicable couple's vibe.
Confirmed, she indeed just liked William's face, nothing more.
After drinking some water, William said to Ellie, "What, you bought water for them but not for yourself?"
Ellie replied, "I have water in my class, I don't need to buy any." She added, fearing he might misunderstand, in a low voice: "I used your card to buy water for you, and I paid for the others."
"You could use mine too," William said, looking at her obedient appearance and then at her slender wrist. "I'm going to the infirmary to check on Daniel, I'm off."
"Wait, your meal card."
William glanced at the meal card in her hand and said, "Hold onto it for me for now."
Ellie responded with an "Oh," watching him leave.
In the infirmary.
Daniel was chatting with Dr. Daniel Green.
Dr. Daniel Green said, "Ah, student, the guy who looked fierce that came in the other day, you're from the same class, right?"
"You mean William? Ahhhhh." After a scream of pain, Daniel realized he could move his arm again, and apart from the scrapes from the fall, there was no pain elsewhere.
Dr. Daniel Green asked, "How is it? Can you move it normally now?"
Daniel moved his arm a few times and said, "It really doesn't hurt anymore."
Dr. Daniel Green smiled, then took out some disinfectant.
"So you were just chatting with me to distract me, right?"
"Yes, while you weren't paying attention, I put your bone back in place. How about that, not bad skills, right?"
Daniel gave him a thumbs-up.
Dr. Daniel Green said, "But your arm still needs to be disinfected. The scrapes are quite large, brace yourself."
Daniel glanced at Hao Ming beside him and said, "If you don't mind, I think your arm could let me bite, right?"
Hao Ming didn't even look at him and said, "Get lost."
William walked in from outside, and Dr. Daniel Green, seeing him, said, "Oh, you're here?"
William "Hmm"ed, then asked, "How's his arm? Is anything else wrong?"
Dr. Daniel Green replied, "Not bad, just a dislocated arm, which has just been put back in place. Other areas still need to be disinfected."
William said, "Alright, how much?"
Dr. Daniel Green quoted a price, and then saw William scan the QR code on the table.
William said, "The payment has been made." He glanced at Daniel and Hao Ming behind him and said, "I'm leaving."
Daniel said, "Okay, William, goodbye."
He grimaced as he disinfected his wounds, then carried a bottle of iodine and a bag of cotton swabs back.
On the way back, he cursed the whole time.
"It's all because of that damn little twerp from Class 20. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been in so much pain."
"Hao Ming, don't walk so fast, my leg's almost crippled."
"Damn, it hurts."
...
Daniel walked the whole way, cursing the whole time.
When he got back and found out William had beaten up the person who hit him, his mouth almost split into a grin from ear to ear.
Hao Ming said, "What are you grinning about with that big mouth of yours? Doesn't it hurt anymore?"
Daniel glared at him and said, "Get lost, Hao Ming."
In the fourth period of the afternoon class.
"Students, we have a big clean-up this period. The school may come to inspect the cleanliness, so please make sure to clean under your desks and those near the windows, wipe the windows."
"Okay!"
Ellie, holding a broom, said to William, "Excuse me, I need to sweep under the seats."
William stood up, watched her sweep under the seats, and then went to the back to get a mop.
Ellie had just finished sweeping under the two desks when she saw William coming with a mop.
William said, "You sit, I'll mop."
Ellie didn't argue with him and obediently sat aside, watching him place their two stools on the desks and mop under the desks.
After mopping, it was time to wipe the glass.
William took two towels from the podium and said, "I'll wash these towels, wait for me a moment."
Ellie reached for the other towel in his hand and said, "I'll wash one too."
William stared at her for a moment and said, "Alright, one person washes one."
When they came out of the restroom, Ellie saw William standing at the door.
William said, "It's not a face towel, do you have to wash it that carefully?"
Ellie replied, "I'm afraid the glass won't be clean."
"You little prude is really serious."
Ellie glanced at him and didn't say a word.
When wiping the glass, Ellie wiped the outside while William wiped the inside.
She carefully wiped the glass, looked up and met William's gaze.
The two were on opposite sides of the glass; she couldn't hear what William said, but from his lips, she could tell he seemed to call her "little prude." Ellie glanced at him and continued to wipe.
Wiping the glass a few times with a wet towel and then drying it with a dry towel would do.
Ellie's height was limited, and she really couldn't reach the higher parts of the glass, so she was about to go inside to get a stool.
Standing on the stool, she suddenly felt someone behind her. She turned her head and saw William standing behind her. She said, "Why are you out here?"
William raised the towel in his hand and said, "Aren't you not reaching?"
Ellie said, "I have a stool."
"It's okay, an extra person can help hold the stool, right?"
Ellie didn't speak, watching him hold the stool. After William held the stool, she indeed felt more stable stepping on it.
Ellie wiped one spot, then stepped down to move the chair and wipe another spot. Just as she was about to step down, she missed a step and almost fell.
William caught her from behind, and Ellie collided with his hard chest, feeling like she was being loosely embraced from behind by him.
She felt surrounded by William's scent, and it seemed she could smell the faint scent of laundry detergent on him. Ellie was about to thank him when she heard the teasing voice behind her: "Is this you throwing yourself into my arms? Little classmate."
