The forest grew darker as Caelum ventured deeper. The trees stretched higher, their branches intertwining to block out the sun. The air felt heavier, as if the very ground beneath him was watching his every move.

There was a long silence. Then, with a grinding noise, the stone gate slowly began to open, revealing a narrow path that wound its way deeper into the heart of the forest.
