Caelum stood before the Heart of Light, the figure looming between him and the ancient tree. The air hummed with an intensity he could feel deep in his bones.
"You're not ready," the cloaked figure warned, its voice like a low rumble. "The Heart of Light does not give its power freely."
"I am ready," Caelum replied, his voice steady, though his heart raced. "I will face whatever price is required."
The figure nodded slowly, as if considering his words. Then, it stepped aside, revealing the glowing core of the tree. Caelum's gaze shifted to the radiant light that pulsed before him, its brilliance almost blinding.
