The two climbed into the BMW M5 CS.
Damien slid into the passenger seat with a grin plastered on his face, buckling his seatbelt tightly.
"Alright, I'm ready," he said, more to himself than to Liam. He slapped the dashboard lightly for emphasis. "Let's see what you've got, West."
Outside the car, Charles checked the set one last time.
The crew gave him thumbs-ups as they finished positioning cameras, and he nodded in approval.
"Everything's ready," he called. "Liam, remember the sequence. Hit your marks, keep it tight, and stay in control. Damien, I don't want any puking in the car."
Damien leaned out of the window, flashing a thumbs-up with a wide grin. "I'll keep my breakfast where it belongs!"
Charles pinched the bridge of his nose but grinned faintly. "Alright, on my count! Three… two… one… action!"
Inside the car, Liam gripped the wheel, his expression calm and focused.
With a strong rev of the engine, the car roared to life. Smoke billowed from the tyres as they screeched against the floor, the raw power of the vehicle vibrating through the cabin.
The car shot forward like a missile, pressing Damien back into his seat.
"Whoa—!" Damien exclaimed, his eyes wide with a mix of excitement and terror. He gripped the edges of his seat tightly as the car swerved sharply to the left, narrowly missing a stack of empty crates that had been placed for the shot.
The first corner loomed ahead, and Liam smoothly shifted gears, spinning the wheel with precision. The back end of the car swung out in a controlled drift, the tyres squealing as the car skidded around the corner. The camera crew on the side captured every moment, their lenses following the movement like hawks.
"Are you kidding me?!" Damien shouted, his grin widening as he glanced at Liam. "You're insane!"
Liam smirked, his eyes glued to the road.
Screech!
"That was nuts!" Damien yelled. His face was a mix of exhilaration and disbelief. "How are you this good? Are you secretly a drifter or something?"
Liam didn't answer, his focus locked on the final segment. Ahead, a ramp had been set up, designed to give the car just enough lift to catch some air for a dramatic finale. Liam floored the gas pedal, the engine roaring as the car gained speed.
"Wait, are we flying?" Damien shouted, his hands bracing against the ceiling as the car launched off the ramp. For a brief moment, the world seemed to freeze—the car hung in the air, the camera capturing the perfect shot of it silhouetted against the sky.
The landing was smooth but powerful, the suspension absorbing the impact as the car sped forward, coming to a screeching halt at the designated mark. The scene ended with the engine still rumbling, and smoke curling around the tires.
"Cut!" Charles shouted, his voice booming across the set. "Perfect! That's a wrap for this scene!"
Inside the car, Damien let out a loud laugh, his head falling back against the seat. "That… was… incredible!" he said between gasps. "Liam, you're a damn magician behind the wheel!"
Liam exhaled slowly, his grip on the wheel finally relaxing. He turned to Damien with a small smile.
"Thanks,"
Damien unbuckled his seatbelt, shaking his head in amazement. "If this whole acting thing doesn't work out, you could open a driving school for lunatics. I'll be your first student."
Liam laughed, stepping out of the car as the crew swarmed around them to reset. Charles approached, his expression unreadable at first. "West," he said, stopping a few feet away. Then, a grin broke across his face. "That was flawless. You're making my job way too easy."
"Thanks, Director," Liam said.

After the scene was completed, Charles was in a good mood.
"Alright everyone, since Liam was able to pull it off in one go he managed to save us a lot of time. We will have a fifteen-minute break!"
"Thank you, Director!"
Cheers erupted for both the director and Liam.
"Thank you, Liam, the driver king!"
As everyone erupted into cheers, Damien sneakily left the set and went to the bathroom to vomit without Charles noticing.
It was too much for him, he didn't have the immunity for it. He was an actor after all, he was mostly law-abiding, and any leak of him breaking laws could be detrimental to his career.
