It suddenly became quiet, neither Frost nor the elf guy were backing down and it seemed they wouldn't come to an agreement anytime soon. "Let's do it this way, lead us in to talk to your leader and if they also don't welcome us then we'll leave immediately. Is my proposal good?" This was what Frost recommended.
Surprisingly, Lu Zhen had been quiet this whole time, if he wanted to enter, no one would have the power to stop him. The reason he didn't do anything was because he thought it would be a shame if the beautiful elf women were to get hurt. The elf guy still refused saying that he wouldn't let Lu Zhen enter even if it killed him. This elf held a deep grudge for humans.
"Come." It was at this time that Lu Zhen finally spoke, he walked forward while Frost followed from behind. The elves had threatened to shoot them if they took one more step forward but they'd already taken a few more and still weren't attacked. It's not that they didn't want to attack, it's that they couldn't.
Their bodies were acting against their will, no matter what they did, the hands refused to let go of the arrow. Although Lu Zhen looked insignificant, their instincts were screaming at them that Lu Zhen wasn't someone to be trifled with. Everyone watched as Lu Zhen and his penguin approached them and they just looked at him coming without doing anything.
The wolf mounts were the ones that clearly felt the terrifying power that Lu Zhen held. If Lu Zhen ordered them to kill each other, they'd definitely do it without batting an eye. "Lead us back to your residence." He also spoke in elf tongue which surprised all the elves as well as Frost. All this time, they thought that Lu Zhen didn't hear them talking, that's why they spoke freely.
"Master..." "Relax, you've done nothing wrong." he comforted Frost. "How long do we have to tell you that we didn't come with ill intentions. If I wanted you dead, you'd already be dead by now. Stop wasting my time and lead the way, I want to have a chat with your leader." what Lu Zhen said was the truth, if he really wanted them dead, the snow would already be dyed with their blood.
They were then led into their place, it took about eight hours for them to reach the place. There was a barrier that kept the place hidden and even the most skilled people would not notice it. They passed through the barrier and in front of them was another world, this place spanned for thousands of miles, the Frigid Qi here was very thick and pure, it also didn't affect the temperature, there were beautiful houses and floating mountains and at the centre of this place was a colossal tree made of ice.
Lu Zhen was expecting to find an Elven village, not an Elven Kingdom. He now had solved the mystery of why it was hard to locate the elves, turned out they were living in the lower worlds, and in small realms to boot. Everyone surrounded Lu Zhen and Frost but they weren't afraid. Elves were known for their peacefulness, they never took part in any power struggles or war related matters, they were born from nature after all.
Lu Zhen spread his divine sense which covered an area of five hundred kilometers, he didn't find anyone particularly powerful. He was led to one of the courtyards that were empty and that person left to report about him. There was even an array here that when cultivating, the room would be filled with Frigid Qi.
Lu Zhen allowed Frost to cultivate since he was very weak, the reason he was able to kill all the beasts that they encountered was that they were in a snowy territory, the way he controlled the snow was impeccable, he could increase and decrease the temperature however he liked, create ice spears out of nothing and even attack the beasts with their own techniques and abilities.
It should be said that in snow, Frost was like a fish in the ocean, it was like using any ice related technique would be asking for death. His title as the Snow King wasn't just for show.
Frost's cultivation level was currently at the Human Realm and in Lu Zhen's and everyone's eyes, he was very weak, it seemed that when he was sealed, he lost all of his memories and cultivation base, he now had to all over to reach the same heights he previously was at.
After hours of waiting, the same elf came back and told him the news, the Royal family had agreed to request to see them. They'd go there tomorrow.Lu Zhen was quite happy with this news.
…
Early the next day, Lu Zhen freshened up and prepared to depart. Cultivators didn't necessarily need to bathe but Lu Zhen loved this feeling. He wore red robes as usual, he seemed to really love the colour red. He wondered if it was due to his demon blood that he suddenly had a love for it or something else.
They travelled to a huge temple and inside it was an array formation leading to the Tree of Ice. Only nobles and royalties had the liberty of living directly in the Tree of Ice, also, elves with many contributions and talented elves would also be allowed to live in the tree.
There are three elf races in total, the Ice elves, Dark elves and Spirit elves and there were rumours that the Dark elves and Spirit elves were not on good terms with one another. The Ice elves are the only ones that are not on bad terms with elf race.
The teleportation array was activated which covered the three and they quickly disappeared. Moments later, they appeared in front of the gigantic Tree of Ice, there was a door on the trunk of the tree made of unknown materials. Two guards stood on either side of the door, their cultivation base was hidden but you could tell from their auras that they were quite powerful.
They opened the doors for them and they were led by another elf inside. As they walked in, the interior was quite beautiful, everything was made of silver except for the floor which was the tree. There were many doors inside and one long passage going straight ahead, the further in they walked, the purer the Frigid Qi and the more relaxed one would be.
After walking for a while, they finally stood in front of a huge door also made from unknown materials, they pushed the door open and entered. Once inside, Lu Zhen stood frozen as he looked ahead.
