"Master...Master..." Lu Zhen just stood there, mesmerized by the beauty in front of his eyes. This woman also had long pointed ears, silver hair, her skin so white it's like she bathed in milk, long eyelashes and slender eyebrows, and clear blue eyes. Her body literally made Lu Zhen's blood boil, her breasts were fully developed and enticing to the extreme.
She was the true definition of a beautiful woman. She wore a silky white dress which accentuated her beauty by many levels, she looked like mother nature herself. Her aura was graceful and welcoming. Lu Zhen didn't need any introductions to know that she was the Ice Elven Queen. There were many other people present that Lu Zhen didn't take notice of.
She had a cold and aloof gaze, in her eyes, Lu Zhen was nothing more than an insect literary. She had lived for a very long time so not a lot of things could capture her eyes, the elders sitting on either side of the room looked at Lu Zhen coldly, "As expected from a human. He lacks manners and common etiquette." complained one of them.
"Look at his lustful and greedy eyes, how dare he show such disrespect to the Queen!" another elder added. These elders also didn't look that old even though they had lived for millions if not billions of years. The reason for their not aging was due to the abundant life force contained within their bodies. "Master!"
It was only after Frost raised his voice a little that he came back to reality, 'Beauty is really scary!' he thought to himself. He shifted his gaze from the Queen to the elders. Yes, Lu Zhen had his always closed eyes open this time around and they looked like ordinary black pupil eyes that everyone has.
He hadn't activated his Emperor's Eyes and also sealed them on top of that, he did this because he didn't want to offend the Queen who had an unfathomable cultivation base. She probably needed only a breath to kill both him and Frost. Lu Zhen finally greeted everyone after a long time, he was extremely courteous and respectful which lightened the tense mood a bit.
The problem was that the elders felt threatened whenever Lu Zhen looked at them, it felt like they were being looked at by a predator and they were prey. "My surname is Lu and my name Zhen, my pet here is called Frost and I'm here to request for your hand in marriage."
Lu Zhen didn't waste any time and just went straight to the point, everyone present was dumbstruck, even the Queen was dumbstruck by Lu Zhen's words. She frowned slightly, "I know this is our first encounter but I really do love you. Call it love at first sight if you may." Lu Zhen, seeming to not notice or rather ignore the mood change, continued with his words.
"I once saw someone like you, someone whom I loved and still love. I wasted time and she ended up with another man so I don't want to make the same mistake with you. Please, let me love you." he explained. The elders present were filled with rage, Lu Zhen was straight out disrespecting their Queen.
"Boy, your joke isn't at all funny. I don't know if you're brave or just plain stupid. What will your love do for me, will it protect me from dangers, will it help improve my kingdom. What exactly comes with accepting your love?" While she looked like she was interested in Lu Zhen, she was ridiculing Lu Zhen.
Sweet voice aside, everyone could hear the ridicule in her words, the elders rejoiced when they saw what was happening, Lu Zhen was going to embarrass himself in front of the one he loves and it was the same person trying to embarass him. "If I have a powerful background, will you consider being my wife." he wasn't in the least dissuaded by her words, she was telling the truth after all.
The Queen's interests were piqued when she heard what Lu Zhen said, she wanted to know where Lu Zhen got his confidence from. "But before we talk about my background, I want all of you to swear to the Heavens that you won't leak my information, everything will stay between us. And my Queen. I want you to promise that you'll marry me as long as my background is powerful."
Lu Zhen had to take safety measures, who knows what would happen if they were one day captured by a powerful expert and they told him or her about his secrets before he had enough power to protect himself. As for the Queen, he didn't want her to have any excuses after knowing his background. Everyone then took an oath including the Queen.
They thought that Lu Zhen was going to embarrass himself and wanted to keep the news a secret. Even Frost was curious about Lu Zhen's background; he knew about his potential but not his background. He wanted to know just which absurd family had managed to give birth to such a monster.
Lu Zhen then told them to activate all the arrays in the room that would stop his power from leaking outside or being sensed by others. They were now really curious about his background and what it had to do with the outside world. When all preparations were made, Lu Zhen then started changing.
The temperature inside that was super cold started increasing and it caused a mist, Lu Zhen's body then burned in red flames which burned his top, leaving him bare chested. His black hair then slowly turned red, lines started forming on his face and his teeth became razor sharp like those of sharks, red scales covered his body as both his wings and two ibex horns protruded on his back and forehead respectively.
"Demon...he's a demon!" muttered one of the elders. "But a demon doesn't make him worthy of the Queen," said another elder. The Queen was silent the whole time with a gorgeous smile that would make any man's heart melt. "Being a demon is quite a feat but it's not enough." she softly said and just as she said that, the temperature rose to the extreme, the Frigid Qi could literally be seen being burnt.
Everyone's eyes widened in shock, they looked at Lu Zhen to see if they'd missed something and then it happened, the red flames covering his body turned pitch black.
