Chapter 19 - Chapter 17 God is Pleased with Us_3

Al spoke sentence by sentence, his voice filled with a power that stirred the heart. He grandly and solemnly proclaimed God's revelation,

"God said, He has chosen me to convey God's revelation to the people of Logos."

Al declared God's words exactly as they were, including God's selection, his future meeting with God on the mountain, and the end of sacrifices.

As soon as the Prophet's voice fell, the Sapo King raised his hands high with absolute authority and declared,

"We must record this, pass it down to our descendants, from one generation to another, let our children hear it, let the sons and daughters of Logos hear it,"

"We must not forget, even if one day we rule over all nations and establish a great kingdom on earth!"

The King's solemn declaration made every Logos person present boil with excitement, and the entire Logos Kingdom was shouting in praise of the divine message, shouting for the King and the Prophet.

Among the crowd, some covered their mouths, some let out deafening cries, and some had tears brimming in their eyes. Even the young generation who had not lived through the Ape-man Era trembled all over, shouting about the greatness of God.

God has bestowed upon us the divine message!

In the eyes of the Logos people, this meant,

We have received God's recognition, we have pleased God.

"O people of Logos! We can finally proclaim loudly,"

the Sapo King faced everyone,

To bring glory to the Kingdom, to oneself,

"We are God's chosen people! Our kingdom is a gift from God!"

Cheers...

The trembling cheers rose from all directions, echoing in every corner of the Kingdom.

The entire Logos civilization was shouting the words of the Sapo King, shouting for God and the Sapo King.

The Prophet, upon hearing the King's excited declaration, stood out from the crowd in his calmness.

.........

The divine message descended upon the Kingdom through the Prophet's mouth.

The Logos people passed it on orally, as the Sapo King had said, to their descendants and their offspring.

However, rumors always seem to arise without cause and grow more exaggerated without reason.

Suddenly, many fabricated stories appeared.

On the first day, someone asked Al how God had revealed to him, and Al told the truth.

But on the second day, Al heard from his eldest son Yarlessto that God had walked out from the altar, knocked on Al's door, and personally conveyed the divine message.

As this state of affairs escalated, the story kept changing on the third, fourth days, and beyond.

After a month, a significant change occurred.

Yarlessto informed his father that there were rumors: God had first revealed to the King, then to the Prophet, and finally, supernatural visions occurred, and invisible snow fell over the entire kingdom, cleansing the earth. Everyone was to offer sacrifices to God at the end of the month.

"What? God clearly told us not to sacrifice anymore, yet they want to defy the divine message?!"

Al found it hard to imagine; he had thought that even if there were misunderstandings and rumors, no one would dare to tamper with God's word. But within a mere month, the Logos people had twisted the original intent of the divine message.

"Father, what should we do?"

As a member of the priesthood, Yarlessto too was very anxious.

Meanwhile, his carefree brother Dertulian was rolling around inside the longhouse. One moment under Yarlessto's feet, the next under Al's, his small body covered in dust, and a terrible sight to behold.

Upon hearing Yarlessto's words, Al lowered his head, one hand propping his chin, and couldn't help but pace within the longhouse, considering how to ensure the divine message is accurately passed down.

Weary from rolling, Dertulian crawled to the side of the animal skin. His hands full of dust, he smeared it carelessly.

Yarlessto saw this and instinctively scolded,

"Dertulian, don't ruin the animal skin!"

"Don't bother me, Yarlessto!" Dertulian complained, angrily smearing another handful of dust.

The conversation between the two brothers interrupted their father's thoughts. Al turned around, about to reprimand his eldest son, when he inadvertently saw the dust that Dertulian had smeared on the animal skin.

The clean animal skin, now marked with dust, took on a different color, as if expressing Dertulian's angry feelings.

Al stared at this different color, and the blockage in his thoughts cleared instantly—bursting forth was an extremely innovative idea.

Dust...

Using... dust, using... leaves, using the ashes of burnt flames...

Using anything that could leave a mark to express God's revelation!

...

Thousands of years later, during the Golden Age, the mystics discovered the ruins of the ancient Logos Kingdom,

What astonished them the most were the exquisite murals found everywhere in the streets and alleys.

These various murals recorded the lives of the Logos people, hidden in the mountains and the Secret Forest, until they were unearthed from history, vividly narrating the birth, rise, and fall of the Ancient Kingdom.

And among them, the most ancient murals,

Recorded the Prophet standing before the people, proclaiming the divine message from the high mountains.
