Arriving at the volleyball court.. Nita and Amy were already waiting for April there, April's friends' views on the girl were now starting to change. Tio could feel it even though April didn't understand. "You're so late!" Said one of April's friends. "She's changed since she started dating Uncle Tio! She comes late, likes to be alone. She rarely hangs out anymore." Nita asked. April who heard Nita's words just now tried not to respond and busied herself taking a position, April didn't want to fight with her own friend. Considering that she had been friends with Nita and Amy for a long time, April certainly didn't want to destroy what they had built. Amy who heard Nita's chatter, just kept quiet not wanting to interfere. The game began.. As usual, nothing was different. It's just that from a distance Tio always watched the girl, worried that April's friends would bully his girl because she had a relationship with an adult man. Her sharp gaze never left April, it seemed like now Tio had to think of something. "Let's go home!" shouted someone whose voice April knew very well, she then turned around and found Uncle Tio already behind her. "Going home where?" April replied in confusion, because the sky was still orange, it wasn't time to go home yet. "Yes, going home!" Uncle Tio said, April's shoulders felt weak hearing it. "But it's not time to go home yet." April said not wanting to lose. "Come on, let's go home!" Tio then turned around not wanting to argue in front of April's friends, with lazy steps the girl followed Uncle Tio. While April's friends could only be surprised. "This is one of the reasons why I don't want a boyfriend." Nita said. "Why?" Asked her other friend. "Because I don't want to be bossed around." The girl replied. "Hey! Just say you're single because no one wants you." Amy mocked while laughing at her friend. "Hush!" "Why are we going home so early, Uncle? We haven't finished playing yet." April protested, even so the girl still got on the back seat of Uncle Tio's motorbike. "It's already evening." Uncle Tio replied briefly. Actually April wanted to ask more, but saw Uncle Tio's expression from the rearview mirror which looked bad. April changed her mind. Suddenly Uncle Tio stopped at the side of a quiet road not far from April's house. The girl frowned, Uncle Tio got off his motorbike leaving April sitting in the back seat alone. Seeing the man so upset while April didn't understand what was happening. "If Uncle asks you something, do you want it?" Uncle Tio said, his face looked red as if he was holding something back. "Ask for what Uncle?" April said in a low tone, her forehead wrinkled in confusion and sat silently on the motorbike. "Can you stay away from those friends of yours? It seems like they're not good friends for you!" Tio said, this of course surprised April. April did have a feud with Nita at that time in class. But they were always like that and April thought it wasn't a big deal. "But they're my friends, Uncle. I've been friends with them since I was little!" April said. "Yes, I know. But I've heard them talking about you! About your relationship with me, they don't like it. I'm worried they'll persuade you to stay away from me." Tio said trying to persuade April, what actually happened was that it wasn't April's friends who persuaded the girl. But Tio.. April smiled wryly, "well, that's impossible, I'm sorry. They've had boyfriends too, but none of us would interfere with our friends' relationships like that." April replied, still not wanting to lose. "Have your friends ever dated a more mature guy?" Tio replied, April immediately fell silent hearing that. Her face changed instantly, speechless unable to reply to what Uncle Tio had just said. Maybe what Uncle Tio said was true, April thought. Dating a mature man at her age is not an easy matter, maybe there are some things that are considered inappropriate by many people out there including April's friends. And April really appreciates it if her friends are worried about her, that means they care. But Uncle Tio was not what they thought, even until now Uncle Tio had never done anything to April. "How?" Uncle Tio asked again, the man began to approach April who was still sitting on the motorbike. April then raised her head to look at Uncle Tio, Tio himself who saw the innocent face became excited and wanted to pounce on the girl right now. But Tio still won, trying to control something from within himself. "But promise not to leave April, okay?" April said in an innocent tone of voice, making Tio who had previously felt angry and upset. Finally melted and smiled at the girl. "Yes." Uncle Tio's answer sounded short, but meant a lot to April. The man then roughly rubbed the top of April's head and made the girl's hair a little messy. They then continued their journey to April's house, dropped the girl off in her yard and left. Too early to go home from volleyball practice, April entered her house after taking off her shoes and went to her room. There was nothing she could do to get rid of her boredom other than lying on the bed while playing with her cellphone. Suddenly a short message came into April's cellphone, none other than from the man. April may not realize the little by little changes in her life after meeting the man. Little April who had never known love and only had an interest in Uncle Tio did not know what was happening in her life, staring at the ceiling of the room with only the shadow of Uncle Tio's face in her mind. Until finally April always followed Uncle Tio's words no matter what, including avoiding her own friends just because of trivial things. "So what if April meets friends at school?" Sent, a message was sent. Without waiting long for Uncle Tio's reply, April quickly received it. "Just stay away!" Those were the only two words on April's cellphone screen, making April unable to think much other than following the man's words because she was worried that Uncle Tio would go far away and leave her. As if Uncle Tio had not only entered April's life and taken her away, but the man had also entered April's mind and controlled her. This did not make the innocent April think negatively about Uncle Tio even though the man should not have acted like that, instead it made April breathe a sigh of relief because finally Uncle Tio had promised not to leave April.
