Two weeks has passed since Cheruma's arrival. Jimmy had managed to heal up quite nicely. The bruising had faded and his swelling had completely gone away. Most of his friends had started treating him normally again, though a couple kept jokingly teasing him for the whole incident.
Meanwhile, Jimmy's social status around the trailer park had increased again. Though he wasn't fully back to normal, he was slowly starting to regain his confidence back.
Currently, Jimmy is at his old hangout spot near his trailer, chatting and joking around with a few of his friends when one of his friends, Cheddar Bob, suddenly perks up.
__Cheddar: "Hey boys, check it out!"
All of friends look up at Cheddar Bob, who was staring off into the distance.
__ Sol: "What is it, dude?"
Cheddar Bob points off in the distance. The friends look in the direction he's pointing at. Across the trailer park, they see a big group of people gathered around something.
___ Cheddar Bob: "Looks like something's happening over there…wanna go check it out?"
The other friends perk up.
__Future: "Yo, I wonder what's goin' on ova' there. Let's go check it out, yo!"
__DJ IZ: "Hmph, yeah…let's see what they're all gathered up about, man!"
The rest of friends begin to get up and agree with them.
__Sol: "Yeah, lets go check it out. Maybe we'll get lucky and see somebody getting beat up or somethin'…"
__Future: "Yeah dude, maybe we'll see one of those trailer park gang members gettin' some major ass-whoopin' from an opp!" He laughs.
Cheddar Bob lets out a laugh, and all of them begin to head towards the gathering across the trailer park.
The small group of friends approached the gathering across the trailer park. There is a large group of people surrounding something, with several people in the center of the group.
__Jimmy: "Damn…what's goin' on here?"
Sol: "Hmph…looks like a fight or sum…"
As the group gets closer, the people around them begin to step to the side, clearing the way.
__Sol: "Yeah…definitely looks we're gonna get to see an ass-whoopin' after all!"
__ Future: "Hahaha…this is gonna be sick, yo!"
Finally, the friends are able to approach close enough to see what it was in the center of the gathering.
The guys suddenly let out a collective surprised gasp as they look at what's in the center. There in the middle of the circle of people is Cheruma. She was in a fighting stance, while another guy was in a fight stance in front of her.
__Cheddar Bob: "Whoah! Is that who's fighting?!"
They all couldn't believe they were seeing a woman preparing to fight some dude in front of all of them in the middle of the trailer park!
__Sol: "For real?! She's actually gonna fight this dude right here?! Damn…this is gonna be interesting!"
Future let out a whistle.
__Future: "Damn! Didn't expect to ever see a chick actually fight a guy before…let's see how she does…"
Jimmy was just as surprise as the rest of the boys, though he was also quite impressed. It was a bit shocking to see a girl like her about to fight a guy, but he was also a bit intrigued by it, and also worried about her. As he continued to watch the two prepare to fight, he began having the feeling of wanting to intervene on a fight that could get serious.
DJ noticed Jimmy's expression, and picked up on what he was thinking.
__DJ: "Don't even think about it, man…"
__Jimmy: "Why not, man? She's about to fight a dude! That's gonna get serious!" He gave DJ a frustrated look
DJ: ""And so what, man? It's her decision to fight this dude, and we can't just step in every time a chick gets in a fight, dude! She clearly looks like she can handle herself!" He gives Jimmy a firm stare.
Despite DJ's words, Jimmy was still feeling worried. He couldn't just watch Cheruma throw down with some random guy without doing something to try to stop it.
__Jimmy: "I don't care what you say, man…I'm gonna step in before things get too nasty…"
__DJ: "C'mon, man! You're just gonna get yourself in trouble, man!" He tried to stop his friend getting into trouble
Jimmy ignores DJ's words and begins to approach the two, his friends watching him with surprise.
__Cheddar Bob: "Dude's gonna do something…"
__Future: "Oh man, what's this fool doing?!"
As Jimmy gets closer, he approaches the middle of the circle of people, getting between the two fighters. Cheruma instantly turns her head and looks at him, somewhat surprised to see him suddenly step in.
The other guy also turns his head and looks at him, giving a sneer.
__Guy: "Hey, what the hell do you think you're doing, pal?! Back off and let us be!"
__Jimmy: "I'm stopping this fight, that's what I'm doing. Can't just have some dumbass guy here wanna beat up a girl in the middle of the Goddamn trailer park…" Jimmy gives him a firm glare.
__Guy: "Hmph…yeah? And who the hell do you think you are, huh? You think you can just step in and do whatever you want? Who're you anyway? This chick's new boyfriend?" He scoffs mocking Jimmy
Jimmy's eyes narrow at the guy's comment, but he tries to stay cool.
__Jimmy: "Hey just shut up for a second here, alright? It don't matter who I am, I'm just not gonna let some loser like you try to beat up on a girl like her, got it?"
Guy: "Hmph, the hell you on about, man? I ain't some 'loser', alright? This chick clearly wants to fight as much as I do and you're not gonna stop it. Mind your damn business and get outta here before you get jumped, man."
The guy laughs not taking jimmy seriously. This make Jimmy's temper to rile up as the guy continued taunting him.
__Jimmy: "I'm gonna say it one more time, alright? Drop this fight right now, or there's gonna be hell to pay."
The guy gives a scoff and a sneer.
__Guy: "Hmph…'hell to pay', huh? Big talk coming from a dumbfuck white boy like you…"
The guy then suddenly shoves Jimmy. He tries to remain still after getting shoved, though he was feeling his temper getting closer towards the boiling point.
__Jimmy: "Alright, that's it…it's your last chance, man…don't push your luck here or I'll make sure you never walk again…"
The guy just laughs again.
__Guy: "Hmph…yeah? You think you're tough enough to take me on? Think again, you dumbfuck…I'm the hardest guy around here, so don't try to get smart, man. You'll regret it…"
Jimmy was getting even more pissed off. The guy's arrogance and threatening was really starting to set him off.
__Jimmy: "Don't try to threaten me you dumbass! I've fought much tougher guys than you before, so you just shut the hell up and stop this fight!"
The guy gives another scoff.
__Guy: "Hmph…right…you're trying to pretend you're tough…but you're not, man. You're just a little pussy looking for a fight, that's all I'm seeing."
The guy suddenly shoves Jimmy again. Jimmy was finally at the breaking point. Between the guy's ego and constant shoving, Jimmy's anger was at its peak. He had enough of that dude's attitude.
__Jimmy: "Listen, you bastard…I warned you…now you're gonna pay the price…"
The guy continues his smug attitude, clearly not taking Jimmy's threats seriously.
__Guy: "Hmph, you think I'm scared of a little pussy like you? You're kidding yourself, dumbfuck…"
He was about to say more, but Jimmy suddenly snaps and swings his fist quickly straight into the guy's nose.
