After that, William went back and gave the information to Samuel. To say the least, Samuel was obviously disappointed that he could not go to the other cities as someone else had already intervened.

He decided that he was going to try out if it was possible for the golden light to be able to absorb the monster cores of other monsters that have been killed by other beast tamers nearby.

It could be said that It would be a waste if he went to the other cities, only to find that he could not absorb the energy from the monsters. Additionally, considering that there was someone else that was already helping, it would be useless for him to go there.

Despite of that, Samuel was quite curious about the person that had been sent over. It was clear that this person that had been sent over already possessed the information about the fact that the monster tide had already been dealt with.
