Even though it was true that Samuel was surprised by the intensity of the medicinal scent that was coming from the pill, that was not the main reason.
The main reason why he was dumbfounded was simply because the energy that was within his body, enveloped by the golden light had suddenly began increasing.
Additionally, the increase was to the extent that it was clear to him at the moment that the energy that had been absorbed by him within the past few seconds was about a third of the entire amount that he had gained after eating.
One had to know that that was just a few seconds of inhaling the medicinal scent of the pill, and not directly ingesting the pill.
Understanding what was going on, Samuel went ahead and closed the small bottle. But it was impossible for him to be able to disperse the medicinal scent that was already in the air, and was spreading.
Samuel was not really sure about the level of the pill that had been given to him by William, but he understood that it was definitely not ordinary. Otherwise, something like this would not have happened.
Instead of wasting it, Samuel decided that it was going to be better if he absorbed the medicinal scent that was still in the air. So, he tried as much as possible to inhale the air around him.
But he understood that it was going to be impossible for him to be able to inhale all the scent that was in the air at the moment, considering that part of it had already spread out of the room through the openings that were present.
Just as Samuel was busy trying to inhale the air, the door to his room was suddenly opened, bringing him back to his senses. The person who had come in was none other than William.
The moment that William came in, there was a worried expression on his face as he looked around. And when he detected the concentrated medicinal scent within the room, the worried expression on his face intensified.
Samuel looked at William with a perplexed expression on his face, wondering what was going on. It was completely unusual of William to just barge into his room without knocking.
"I forgot to tell you something. You are not supposed to open that bottle within the city. Otherwise, things are definitely going to get out of hand." William said with a helpless expression on his face.
He understood that It was already late for him to convey the message, considering that Samuel had already opened the bottle. Even though it was clear that Samuel had closed the bottle, but the bottle had obviously been open for a few seconds.
Those few seconds were enough to cause chaos. And, William was afraid that things were going to go in a way that he would have never wanted them to.
With a confused expression on his face, Samuel looked at William and asked, "Is there something wrong about this pill?"
At this point, Samuel was still guessing that maybe the reason why William had told him not to open the pill bottle inside here was simply because of the medicinal scent spreading and being wasted.

I do believe that the owner of that ring was definitely a high level beast tamer. Or even if that was not the case, that person was definitely from an influential background.
Because other than the pill that I found, which you are having right now, I got several more, which are the ones that I used in order to be able to reach my current star level in a short time.
I decided to keep that pill, after I noticed that it was definitely better than all the other pills that I had taken. The reason why I did not take the pill was simply because I understood that my talent was limited.
If I took the pill, it would be a complete waste. I decided that it was better if I could give it to someone with great talent, boosting the strength of someone else."
Samuel understood what William was trying to imply. But what he could not understand was why William seemed to be feeling a little helpless at the moment.
Yes, the pill was of high quality, but did that have anything to do with the worried expression on his face?

"Is it possible for me to be able to get about 30 minutes? Are you capable of stalling those people that would be coming over for 30 minutes?" Samuel asked as he made plans within his mind.
"That is possible, but you have to understand that even if I manage to buy as 30 minutes, it is definitely not enough for you and the children to be able to get out of the city." William shook his head. At this point, he was thinking that perhaps Samuel wanted to ran away with the children.
"Don't worry. We are not planning on leaving the city at all. Instead, I'm simply planning on getting stronger. Give me 30 minutes, and that should be enough to be able to resolve all the problems." Samuel responded, leaving William totally confused.
Then suddenly, William thought of something. That golden light that had been given out during the time that Samuel was forming a contract with his monster. Could it be that Samuel was going to depend on that golden light in order to solve the current situation?
But what was that golden light? Was it capable of solving the current predicament that they were in? It was definitely not possible, right? And even if it was capable of strengthening Samuel, it was impossible for him to be able to reach the peak of the 3 star rank, in order to be able to compete with the city Lord.
