Vabo city…
On top of the tallest building within the city, which was located at the very center of the city, two people were currently standing there. In the sky above the city, beasts together with their beast tamers would occasionally fly by, but they somehow intentionally or unintentionally avoided flying directly above this building.
There was silence, as the two of them seemed to be gazing into the distance. None of them was speaking, but at this moment, it was as if they were thinking of the same thing, considering that there was worry that was in their eyes.
One of the people that was standing on top of the building was none other than Clifford, the deputy city Lord. But at this point, Clifford was actually standing behind the other man, indicating that he was holding a lower position.
And, the person that was standing in front of Clifford, with his back towards him, was just a young man, who was in his late 20s.
