"What the hell!!" The square-faced was sitting in the barn, reading more books on dark magic, "They arrived"
"Yeah…So" The coordinator had no idea what was wrong.
"It's not someone beyond expiry date but they are around our prodigy doctor"
"What? That's not possible…" The coordinator wasn't believing, "You are kidding, right?"
"No…" He almost shouted, "They are kids…"
"Why? Why? Why? it's not possible" The coordinator looked around anxiously, "Those expiry dates exceeded men come here every time, why…these kids you talk about… Wait… Only kids…Like nobody else"
"Yeah… Only four, standard. They are in suits and have the church's hats and shoes from churches. Even Chruch's horse charrige dropped them."
Meanwhile, at the mansion's gate, the four of them were moving forward like they had some sort of accomplishment or were in a novel…uh… Well, with swag and with their personal BGM, they moved forward. They say that confidence is the key.
The four of them had confidence, the one walking slightly ahead, threw a piece of paper on the face of the guard unnecessarily even though he didn't stop any of them. Then, came into clutch, the butler. He came straight at them, they came straight at him. As soon as he opened his mouth to say something, Ben gestured his hand and stopped him from saying anything.
They kept moving but as soon as they went past the butler, he said, "Does good lords know the mansion and where to stay in there"
The one on the corner, Kelivn, "Uh… No… I guess someone from the mansion will come to…tell us… Right?"
"Who?"
"The butler or a servant or maybe the viscount himself"
"Then, good lords I am the butler of this house…" With a smile he said, giving proper respect to all of them and bowing to all of them.
"Should have said that earlier…" Said Ben rudely, he was the one who stopped the butler from saying anything in the first place. Hypocrisy.
"I beg your pardon, good lords… Let me take you to lord Viscount."
"Whatever" Ben muttered, enough for the butler to hear though.
They followed the butler silently this time, the viscount as soon as he got the message of their arrival, they went straight to the meeting room on the first floor, Ravindra and Mathew were also sitting in that room as well, and the viscount was telling them how to hide Rose's curse.
"I will say it's a disease called dissociative identity disorder and she is sick as well, if you say so, let's not disclose any information."
"Yeah…" Ravindra sounded disgusted, "I won't even talk to them."
With a sharp knock, the door opened and keeping the door open butler was standing and the four priests from the church came inside with their BGM. Ravindra made his face according to how Mathew depicted it, it said you are a nuisance. Seeing Ravindra's face Ben snorted.
The whole room was normal except Ravindra and Ben were looking into each other's eyes not as lovers but as villains, both were looking at each other as villains.
The viscount stood up, Mathew stood up and Ravindra still stared at Ben with a cold look.
The viscount at first looked a little suspicious but then, the next second, "Hahaha… Please take a seat, good lords…"
"We'll bid our leave, lord viscount" Mathew said and with his leg, he gave Ravindra's leg a little push, "Let's leave."
Ravindra nodded.
They were leaving though Ravindra and Ben looked at each other all the time, till they went past each other.
"I didn't know this time it would be such young individuals coming here on behalf of the holy church." The Viscount obviously had suspicion but restrained himself from saying anything to get on their bad side. He knew that his butler must be looking into the matter at the highest priority already. "I never knew… there were so many young priests in the holy churches."
"Well, now you know…" Laughed slightly, Deen looked outside the room and then, looked back at the viscount, "I heard those two were…uh…doctors…"
"Yeah… good lords, they were here to cure my daughter…"
"Oh… how is she now?"
"They said it's tough to say anything right now…" The viscount said solemnly and sadly.
"Sad to hear that… I will pray for your daughter…" Keliven said softly.
The viscount nodded.
"We saw a lot of people around your…farms, they are getting enough to live, right?" Ben was unnecessarily rude.
"They are getting way better treatment than any farm worker. We all are one big family. My children had friends among them… They used to play together."
"Used to?" Durgur showed his suspicion.
"They are all grown up now." Keliven gave Durgur the answer.
"Oh…"
"They died…my children…are all dead and now only Rose is left… She is the last one and wives are also dead…" The viscount said with a sign.
There was silence in the air for a while and it was broken by Deen.
"Uh… Why don't you tell your butler to show us your room, we'll talk at dinner."
"I will get the butler right away" The viscount stood up and opened the door and the butler was standing nearby, he came there, first he nodded as a signal that these people from church were authentic and then, he took them to their respective rooms.
In the barn of Ravindra and the party, they were discussing ongoing problems.
"That one priest has so mean looks… It's so frustrating to look at that guy" Ravindra complained about Ben.
"Frustration and those people came from the same family" The coordinator commented.
"They will be a bother, we don't know how good they are…" The square-faced said, "I don't think they will be as good as those old evil bastards from churches."
"They might not be…" Mathew said, "But we can't take chances."
"Is there a way we can test them" The coordinator wanted those prist to be no bother in their mission.
"I don't think we should…" Mathew was trying to say something.
"I think I can…" Ravindra jumped in. "That annoying bastard who was looking at me like crazy" They both were looking at each other like crazy though. "I think I can provoke him…"
"Hmm… That's a good idea" Mathew said.
"No… How are we going to test them in the first place…" The coordinator was trying to be cautious, "And what if one of them could see through…"
"Wait… What could those guys actually do… Like how are they a threat to us" Ravindra asked the obvious question in the eyes of them.
"They…can use vision… almost all the members of church select light magic, it doesn't matter what is their elemental magic… They always choose light magic and they are said to have some 'secret' spells to make their vision better and mainly their hearing. They also say they won't give the spells to any country as these spells are supposed to be used for peace… So, your problem is that they can hear us…without him knowing" The coordinator pointed at the square-faced.
"There is a chance they might be listening to us right now…" The square-faced tried to scare Ravindra, "We wouldn't notice a thing"
"What?" Ravindra almost shouted and panicked.
"Don't worry, he is just teasing," Mathew said.
"Don't do that" Ravindra didn't like the joke.
"Now… how can we test all of them and in a day or two" The coordinator glanced at all of them, "We can't use too much of our time."
"There is one more problem…" Mathew said.
"What now?" The coordinator made an annoyed face.
"Rose…we can't use dark magic openly if those priests appear there and realise that it's not black magic but…" Mathew looked at the coordinator, "Then, what?"
The coordinator shrugged, "That's a problem if you can't diagnose her without dark magic, that causes a lot of trouble and risks her life" The square-faced had tension over his face.
"I can take care of it" Ravindra said and all three of them looked at him, "If I just say, I don't want anybody inside the room while I am seeing the patient, it should work… That viscount can't say no to me…or that butler"
"That's a good idea." The square-faced said, "We can use this one."
"No…That's the only idea we have" Mathew snorted.
They were all frustrated by the timing of these priests.
In the evening, Ravindra and Mathew went to check up on Rose, who still had the same condition and still, peaked from her hands. She was still not ready to say anything.
"She needs more rest" Mathew said slowly, almost whispering.
Ravindra used dark satisium again, the same dosage as he did always. It puts Rose to sleep, the thing she was missing. It was the main reason she was a little active but it didn't affect the curse at all.
While Ravindra and Mathew acted a little bit, the four priests were taking an evening walk, they were strolling and looking around the farms. They loved doing it apparently or that's what Keliven told the butler.
Moving through the wheat farms, they were discussing very important things.
"Texture is good but…taste is the most important thing…" Durgur persisted.
"Nah…" Keliven protested, "Texture is on a higher level than taste… I mean texture soloes taste"
"Sh-Shape i-is also important" Ben tried to share his opinion and all the other three stopped walking only Ben walked and he knew how highly he was going to be criticized.
"The **** you said" Deen jumped on the trigger.
"Okay… I'll let taste and textures fight"
"You know…uh…let's leave this taste and texture debate aside for a moment and let's focus on money…" Deen suggested.
"Yeah…" Keliven agreed.
"Leave that aside for a moment…" Durgur said, "What if that viscount gets our real identity… First, we should win his trust"
"We are scamming here…There is no need for trust" Ben said, very normally.
