Synopsis

Prologue

In an infinite void, where time and space intertwine and countless worlds overlap, we find Mai, a unique entity trapped in the cycle of life and death, between light and darkness, where truths and lies alternate.

Mai appears to be an ordinary child, but her soul is far from ordinary.

She is not small at all.

Her soul has traversed varying dimensions, experiencing moments filled with mystery and inner conflict.

Her present intersects with her past in strange and intertwined scenes: a drifting consciousness in the void, a half-bound dragon, a dark elf living in slavery, and a sick girl immersed in the pursuit of knowledge.

Life holds its beauty, but it also brings forth inevitable destruction.

Every step toward understanding is met with the pain of darkness, which tries to hide the truth.

In every life, a story; and in every death, a new beginning.

The transition of her soul between worlds was not linear but wavy, yet she always encountered a distant hope. Between moments of joy and pain, there exists a faint yet present beam of hope, emerging in the darkest moments.

These memories are fragments of an ancient puzzle, still taking shape alongside Mai, who embodies the hidden past within her, which in turn is the power that defines who she is now and who she will be in the future.

These fragments were blurred deep within her, buried in the shadows of oblivion, like bound specters with no key.

Once again, the whirlpool of life and death sweeps Mai toward the brink of oblivion. One moment, one incident, was enough to shake the laws of the universe, releasing the dormant specters that began to scream deep within her, causing the past and present to merge in an unavoidable chaos.

Fortune and misfortune are two sides of the same coin.

Misfortune dragged her into the incident that nearly destroyed her, while fortune gave her a thin thread of survival. But she did not emerge from the incident as she entered it; it left an indelible scar, both in body and spirit.

The laws of the universe played with her fate. And it wasn't a simple twist that could change the course of her life; it was the spark that pushed her to begin a new journey. A journey to heal what was broken within her, and a promise she made to herself: to live long and to find the happiness that was stolen from her in her past lives.

Mai begins her journey toward self-discovery, paving the way for a future that may resonate with her past, or diverge from it in unexpected ways.

Her memories connect everything, between the knowledge she seeks and the destruction threatening everything. Within them lies the secret that will not be fully revealed until the right moment, the moment that will erase the darkness and allow the light to creep into her world.

But will she be able to understand the truth of her past lives amid the battle for survival and the search for peace, or will her new life push her toward a path that will not allow her to look back? And will she break the cycle of darkness that has engulfed her to find the way to the light? What fate can the past write for a present that seems fragile under such a heavy burden?

Mai, the child with an old soul, will soon discover the answers. Or perhaps, she will create them herself.
