Chapter 22 - Chapter 22: The Battle Against Tharros

The battle against Tharros was intense, with both sides exchanging blows and neither gaining the upper hand. Kael and his friends fought with all their might, using every trick and tactic in their arsenal to try and defeat the powerful sorcerer.

Tharros, however, was a formidable opponent, and he seemed to be able to counter every move they made. He was a master of the dark arts, and he wielded his magic with precision and skill.

As the battle raged on, Kael began to feel a strange sensation building up inside him. It was as if the ancient magic was stirring, responding to the power of Tharros's magic.

Suddenly, Kael felt a surge of energy flow through him, and he knew that he had to act fast. He raised his hands, and a blast of ancient magic shot out, striking Tharros with incredible force.

The powerful sorcerer stumbled backward, his eyes widening in surprise. Kael and his friends took advantage of the opening, launching a fierce attack that sent Tharros stumbling to the ground.

As they stood over him, victorious, Kael felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. They had defeated a powerful foe, and they had unlocked a little more of the ancient magic's secrets.

But as they turned to leave, Kael heard a faint whispering in his ear. It was the voice of the ancient magic, and it was warning him of a great danger that lay ahead.

"What is it?" Eira asked, noticing the look of concern on Kael's face.

"It's the ancient magic," Kael replied, his voice low and serious. "It's warning me of a great danger that lies ahead. Something is coming, something that threatens to destroy everything we hold dear."

Lyra's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with the implications of Kael's words. "We need to be prepared," she said, her voice firm and resolute. "We need to gather our strength and our allies, and prepare to face whatever danger lies ahead."

Kael nodded, his heart pounding with determination. He knew that the road ahead would be fraught with danger, but he was ready to face it head-on.
