Chapter 6 - DREAM

She could feel the wind pulling her.

'Is this death?' She had expected one so tragic but received a tumbling one, like the waves of a roaring Ocean. She closed her eyes as she felt herself taken in the grasp of a not so earthly being.

'This is the end of me'she muttered to herself and smiled, welcoming the non-existent pain and the sensation of dying in the cold hands of the twirling wind. But then, that voice, that steely silver eyed man, that mysterious stranger with guilt filled eyes he tried so hard to hide from her, that sweet promise that has ignited the hope in her. A life she always considered worthless but is now what she craves for the most due to this mysterious stranger with the husky voice that sends chills down her spine. But mysteriously because she doesn't believe in miracles this chills had warmed her heart and had awakened the butterflies in her stomach. His cold expressions leaving a remarkable warm presence in her heart and soul. To create a memory that will always make her face glow like a ripe cherry whenever she thinks about him.

'Does it still hold? Is this her reality? Is she a part of the realistic non-thinking specie of humans who have vowed to make her life miserable.

She rather goes, leave this world behind and welcome a world filled with ghosts and one with the cold embrace. That place suits her more. The pains, tortures and torments are not for her to endure. She will always be an eyesore to them and they will be like gallows to her.

'Who knows? They might have called the great Witcher for her, who claims to be good but she could see past her colors and smile a serpent in a lambs coat. To free her of this so-called happy bondage, that doesn't seem to belong to her.

The twirling of the wind continued, the latter more powerful than the first. She could feel it pull her towards it's den. The clutches strong enough to make her lose breath. Her eyes dim with the hope of living. She should let all things go. She felt it gnawing on her soul trying to tear her apart the moment she lets her guard down.

Heat blazed in her chest spreading to every part of her body. She could feel herself burning like a blazing furnace suffocating her and making her lose breath. When suddenly a voice called her out of that painful misery. Bringing her to a life she didn't know she quietly craves for. Back to reality, back from the devil's hole, back from her not so quiet past.
