Kae stood at the head of the table, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Ladies and gentlemen," he said, his voice dripping with drama. "For the next course, I have something special prepared. A story, if you will. "The guests exchanged curious glances. What kind of story could Kae possibly tell that would be worthy of this bizarre dinner party? Kae cleared his throat and began to speak. "Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in the heart of the forest, there lived a young woman named Sophia Patel. "Rien's eyes widened as he listened to Kae's story. Sophia was the name of his friend, the one who was sitting at the table just a few feet away., Sophia's eyes widened as she heard her name, fear gripped her. Kae continued to spin his tale, weaving a web of intrigue and suspense
"Sophia, a successful businesswoman, hid a dark past of poverty and abuse. She received mysterious letters threatening to expose her secrets, and her paranoia consumed her. The dinner party invitation was her last hope, but it ultimately led to her demise"
.The guests were entranced, hanging on his every word.
But as Kae reached the climax of his story, something strange began to happen. Sophia, Rien's friend, started to act strangely. She became agitated and restless, her eyes darting back and forth as if she were searching for something. And then, just as Kae finished his story, Sophia let out a blood-curdling scream. She clutched at her chest, her face contorted in agony. The guests were shocked and horrified as Sophia slumped forward, her body crashing to the floor, she was lying in a pool of her blood.Rien was in a state of panic. What had just happened? How did Kae's story cause Sophia to die?As he looked around the table, he saw that the other guests were staring at him with a mixture of fear and suspicion. They seemed to think that Rien was somehow responsible for Sophia's death.Kae, on the other hand, was smiling. He seemed to be enjoying the chaos and confusion that he had unleashed."What's going on, Kae?" Rien demanded, his voice shaking with anger and fear. "What's happening to these people?"Kae's smile grew wider. "Ah, Rien," he said. "You're so clever. But you're not clever enough. Not yet, anyway."And with that, Kae snapped his fingers, and the lights went out again. As the lights went out, Rien heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the room. He tried to move, but his feet felt heavy, as if they were stuck to the floor.Suddenly, a faint light flickered to life, illuminating the room in a dim, eerie glow. Rien saw that the other guests were still seated at the table, their faces pale and frightened. But Sophia's body was gone.Rien's mind reeled as he tried to process what was happening. Where had Sophia's body gone? And what was Kae's role in all of this?Kae's voice cut through the silence, his tone dripping with malice. "The next course is about to begin," he announced. "And I think you'll find it... so enlightening."As Kae spoke, the lights began to flicker more rapidly, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Rien felt a sense of dread building inside him, as if he was trapped in a living nightmare. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, everything went black. When the lights came back on, Rien found himself alone in the room. The other guests were gone, and Sophia's body was still nowhere to be found. But on the table in front of him, Rien saw a small, leather-bound book. It was open to a page with a single sentence written on it:"The truth is in the stories."Rien's mind reeled as he tried to make sense of the cryptic message. What did it mean? And what did Kae have planned for him next?As Rien sat alone in the darkness, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. He heard footsteps echoing through the room, but whenever he tried to shine his light in the direction of the sound, there was no one there.Suddenly, the lights flickered back to life, and Rien saw that he was no longer alone in the room. Kae was standing in front of him, a small, enigmatic smile playing on his lips."The next course is ready," Kae announced, his voice dripping with malice. "But first, I have a little surprise for you, Rien."Kae snapped his fingers, and the room was filled with the sound of whispers. The whispers grew louder and more urgent, until Rien felt like he was being bombarded by a thousand different voices. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the whispering stopped. The room was silent once again, except for the sound of Kae's laughter."You see, Rien," Kae said, his eyes glinting with amusement. "The truth is, you're not just a guest at this dinner party. You're a participant. And soon, you'll be the main course."Rien's blood ran cold as he realized the true nature of the dinner party. He was trapped in a nightmare, and he didn't know how to escape. But he was determined to try. With a surge of adrenaline, Rien leapt out of his chair and made a run for the door. But Kae was too quick. He caught Rien in mid-stride, his grip like a vice."I don't think so, Rien," Kae said, his voice dripping with malice. "You're not going anywhere. Not until the dinner party is over, and the truth is revealed."And with that, Kae dragged Rien back to the table, where the other guests were waiting with bated breath. The next course was about to be served, and Rien had a feeling that it was going to be the most terrifying one yet.
Kae smiled, seeming to sense Rien's unease. "Now, let's get back to the dinner party," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "The next course is...special."As Kae spoke, the lights in the room began to flicker ominously. The air grew colder, and Rien could see his breath misting in front of him.Suddenly, a loud creaking noise echoed through the room, making everyone jump. It sounded like the wooden beams of the old mansion were shifting and groaning."What was that?" one of the guests whispered, her voice trembling with fear.Kae just smiled. "Just the house settling," he said. "Nothing to worry about."But Rien wasn't so sure. He had a feeling that something was very wrong, and that the dinner party was about to take a dark and terrifying turn. And then, just as Rien was starting to relax, he heard a faint whispering in his ear. "Get out while you still can."Rien spun around, but there was no one there. The whisper seemed to come from all around him, echoing off the walls. He turned back to Kae, his heart racing with fear. "What's going on?" he demanded.Kae just smiled. "The next course is about to be served," he said. "And I think you'll find it...spectacular."
