Incredible!
Shisui couldn't reconcile his impression of Satoru with what he had just witnessed.
Up until now, Satoru had always struck him as a warm, lively, occasionally funny teenager. At his core, he seemed relatively simple and kind.
Yet here he was, revealing a side that was shockingly competent, resourceful, and driven.
If Sasuke Uchiha ever heard Shisui's glowing evaluation of Satoru, he would have been floored. And Satoru himself? He'd likely feel a bit sheepish—perhaps even guilty about living up to such a high opinion.
The truth was, Shisui's "good guy" filter for Satoru seemed incurable.
"So," Satoru said with a grin, "are you in?"
Shisui fell silent for a long time before finally speaking.
In a cheerful tone, he replied, "Of course. How could I refuse my younger brother's request?"
Naturally, he agreed.
Peace was a road they all hoped to pave. How could he not explore this new path?
Still, like Itachi, Shisui had overlooked just how much energy and potential lay hidden within Satoru's careless exterior.
When will Itachi realize the truth? Shisui wondered. That will be a sight to see.
Itachi's tendency to shoulder everything alone was admirable, but it blinded him to the strength of those around him.
A faint smile tugged at Shisui's lips as he imagined Itachi's stunned expression upon learning what Satoru had been up to.
With their conversation over, Satoru wasted no time.
He deftly avoided Konoha's watchful eyes and transported Shisui to Hitomi Country—a safe haven where he could recover.
Along the way, they bickered about the name.
Shisui frowned and muttered, "I still think 'Hitomi Country' sounds strange."
Satoru scoffed, immediately defensive. "What's strange about it? It's a great name!"
Shisui shook his head before offering a suggestion. "Why not call it the 'Sharingan Country' instead?"
"Pfft!" Satoru laughed, rolling his eyes. "Sharingan Country? Your taste is terrible! You might as well put up a big neon sign saying, 'Come and get us!'"
After ensuring Shisui was safely settled, Satoru returned to Konoha.
There was still one crucial matter to attend to.
Shisui's other eye.
He needed to retrieve it.
His gaze drifted toward the Root headquarters in the distance.
Root Headquarters.
That night, a figure cloaked in black and wearing a swirling mask appeared on the suspension bridge.
It was Satoru.
Of course, he wasn't foolish enough to confront Root as himself.
For this mission, he temporarily "borrowed" the identity of the masked man, Uchiha Obito.
"Both of us are Uchiha," Satoru reasoned to himself. "He shouldn't mind, right?"
Puffing up his chest with confidence, he continued down the bridge.
There was only one problem—his Six Eyes.
Unlike Obito's Sharingan, his bright blue eyes were a dead giveaway. But Satoru shrugged it off.
"Blue, red—what's the difference? Six Eyes are just a deluxe upgrade to the Sharingan anyway."
He liked to think of them as the super deluxe version of the Sharingan.
As Satoru stepped onto the bridge, a group of Root operatives quickly emerged to confront him.
Kunai flew through the air, each strike calculated and precise.
But Satoru didn't flinch.
With a simple sideways tilt, he effortlessly dodged every attack.
This wasn't mere luck. His ability to evade was aided by his Limitless Cursed Technique—a concept rooted in paradoxes and infinite series.
[Limitless Cursed Technique]
The Limitless Cursed Technique embodies the paradox of infinite division.
"This distance can be reduced infinitely but never truly reached."
By applying this principle, the technique manifests in reality, allowing its user to manipulate space and matter down to the atomic level.
The technique requires incredible control over cursed energy, making it accessible only to those with the Six Eyes.
Though his Limitless Technique wasn't fully unlocked yet, it was already potent enough to deflect attacks with ease.
Still, Satoru rarely relied on it unless necessary. Wasting such a skill on minor threats wasn't his style.
The Limitless Technique also served as the foundation for other derived abilities, such as Blue, Red, and Purple.
Unfortunately, because his Limitless Technique was incomplete, these abilities were also in varying states of imperfection.
For now, however, Satoru didn't need perfection.
The cocky Root operatives didn't stand a chance.
As the night wore on, Satoru's eyes gleamed with determination. Tonight, he would retrieve Shisui's stolen eye.
