It was a dark and damp place, like a sewer, but without the stench. I had walked just two steps when I was attacked quickly, without even thinking, I drew my sword and, as if by magic, I parried the attack. For obvious reasons, the enemy retreated, but I was smarter and I threw myself at him to knock him down.
I took the opportunity to see what the enemy looked like before giving him the finishing blow. My expression changed to one of terror, I couldn't believe it, how could it be possible? My enemy was Argel, or at least that's what he looked like. Still scared, I thought, "Argel is out, that can't be him."
I stood up still scared, but I raised my sword against that peculiar being anyway. Seconds before I dropped the blow, the being opened its eyes and said, "Don't hurt me, Liam, don't be an asshole, I didn't see you," in such a pathetic way that I would have kicked him at least. At that moment, I remembered that Rodolfo had told him about some monsters that live in the darkness that when they are illuminated, they take the form of something that the enemy appreciates a lot in order to make him suffer mentally until he dies, and that physical attacks don't work against him (I don't remember the name). Having remembered that, I couldn't help but smile and laugh insanely.
I continued walking without encountering any enemy in that place, it was like that for at least 20 minutes when a monster appeared, well, more than a monster, it was more like a skeleton. Quickly, I charged at that skeleton, but he easily blocked it with a light shield he was carrying.
I tried to strike him, but the skeleton pushed my sword away with the shield and with his other hand, which had a sledgehammer, he hit me. I flew out until I crashed into a wall.
Even with the pain, he put me on my feet while smiling and I ran out to cut the enemy, the skeleton tried to block that attack, but I was smarter, milliseconds before hitting the shield I turned around the skeleton to position myself behind the skeleton and with a slash to the head I had managed to kill him.
I continued walking and following the same pattern. Until I finally found the door to the boss room. Without thinking twice, I entered the room. The room was very wide, easy, a large town entered there, but, strangely, it was empty. I walked from end to end looking for something to summon the boss, but I found nothing, which led me to think that it was just a bad joke from that place. But when I tried to leave, the door slammed shut, leaving me locked in that place. Without knowing what was happening yet, I began to hear drums, I didn't give it any importance, then the ground began to shake, dust rose and a huge ogre god fell from the ceiling* (*it's an ogre bigger and more powerful than most, I gave it a name because I don't have much knowledge of the world and I don't know about that and it's not my thing to give names) even without knowing what was happening, I unsheathed my sword and put myself on guard.
