Chapter 75 - Chapter 75) Little Yanyan's cries.

Inside Gu Yanyan's bedroom, Yang Xumei was folding the last piece of clothes, they were taking with them.

After closing the wooden chest she sat on it and huffed.

"Finally we are leaving this God damn place. Hah. You are something, young miss. Just by knowing that Madam Yun is orchestrating some drama inside the Gu residence, you already could guess the result." Yang Xumei didn't hesitated to show her admiration towards the Gu Yanyan's abilities in guessing other's motives behind their actions.

Seeing how Yang Xumei was staring at her in admiration and awe, Gu Yanyan could only shake her little head in amusement and chuckle.

"Stop staring at my face and move your hands fast, we don't have all to pack. Even though we don't need these there but, who knows what conditions would be there? Although, that manor was my mother's and is managed by her loyal servants but it had been three years since she died and no one came to ask for my well being or even see how I'm doing in the Gu Residence so we can't expect too much from them." Gu Yanyan sighed.

Previously, she had thought that Gu Tianhao would send her to Gu Clan, back in his hometown, Haicheng. But who knew that they changed their minds and totally cut off their ties with her by sending her to her mother's manor.

It seemed that they took that fake monk's nonsense too seriously.

If they had sent her to the Gu Clan in Haicheng then she could have sneaked from their anyhow and Gu family members wouldn't made any fuss to save their reputation and they even would have made some excuse for her sudden disappearance but if she escaped from her own mother's manor then this would give Gu family a chance to make things difficult for the Lin family and her mother's loyal servants.

Thinking about the loyal servants her mother had left for her at the manor, Gu Yanyan could hope that they would still be loyal to her mother. Otherwise.... she would just make them leave the Xiaolin Manor. They are not the Gu family members and she didn't have to be obedient towards them.

Worst comes worst... she would just born down the whole manor... along with those disloyal and disobedient servants. Hmph.

"These were the last things that we had to pack miss." Xumei pointed her finger towards the wooden chest. "We are already ready to set off and now we just have to wait for nanny Jin to come and tell us; when we could leave this prison." Throwing her hands in the air Yang Xumei lazily explained.

While Yang Xumei was still chattering nonstop, Madam Yun entered the room with Mother Zhang and Nanny Jin in tow.

"Aiya. Look at our little Yanyan. She is already so big." Madam Yun exclaimed as she reached out to lift Gu Yanyan up in her embrace but before she could, little Yanyan who still had to turn three years, used her childish tactics to her advantage and started crying.

"Ah....ahaha..."

Her big doe like eyes were filled with tears and a drop or two had already started to fall on her pink chubby cheeks filled with baby fat.

Yang Xumei who was still stunned at Madam Yun's sudden sweet gestures immediately understood her task and sprung to her feet.

"Alelele. No more crying. Please, stop crying." Eight year old Yang Xumei played the role of big sister for almost three years old little Gu Yanyan and gentle cooed her while holding her in her warm and safe embrace.

Little Gu Yanyan also pretended to be coaxed and after few low hiccups and sobs she finally calm down.

"Sorry for that. My young miss is just not used to seeing stran.. ahem.. new faces... that's why she cried. She is just a little kid. Please second Madam, don't take any offense." Yang Xumei looked a little embarrassed as she apologized.

Nanny Jin who was standing behind Madam Yun and saw the act played by two little girls in front of her, internally shook her head. If others knew these little girls antics, they surely won't believe.

She could only twitch her lips in a corner where no one would notice her.

Even though Madam Yun was pissed at how Gu Yanyan didn't crawl into her hands obediently but instead started to make a fuss and cried, the little maid next to Gu Yanyan was right. Gu Yanyan was just a child and it was normal for a three old to cry after seeing a stranger approaching her suddenly.

"No offense taken. I was just trying to hold my daughter for the last time." Madam Yun chuckled but soon realizing her mistake she added "Before she left for her recuperation. Of course, we would meet once she is fully healed and return to the capital city."

Mother Zhang and Nanny Jin also played along and nodded at what Madam Yun said.

"Have you packed your stuffs or do you need any help?" Madam Yun asked looking at Yang Xumei then, without waiting for her reply, she already turned to Mother Zhang signaling her with her eyes she smiled and said; "Help these little kids in their packing. Check thoroughly, see if they lack anything. If there is, ask someone to prepare everything for our Yanyan. Even though, I've not birthed her, I've always treated her as I treated my Yanran. Both children are master's and so are mine." While Madam Yun was weaving lies under her kind and gentle facade, Mother Zhang had already started to rummage through the chest, packed by Yang Xumei to take with them.

Gu Yanyan and Yang Xumei both exchanged a meaningful glances and scoffed internally at Madam Yun's act of 'I'm the kindest and gentlest mother'.

These little exchanged didn't go unnoticed by Nanny Jin who also internally scoffed.

'Even if these two little girls would have taken something valuable from Gu Residence, do you think; they would let you find it? Hmph.'
