The Book Of Exodus

The second book of the Pentateuch is called Exodus, from the Greek word for “departure,” because its central event was understood by the Septuagint’s translators to be the departure of the Israelites from Egypt. Its Hebrew title, Shemoth (“Names”), is from the book’s opening phrase, “These are the names….” Continuing the history of Israel from the point where the Book of Genesis leaves off, Exodus recounts the Egyptian oppression of Jacob’s ever-increasing descendants and their miraculous deliverance by God through Moses, who led them across the Red Sea to Mount Sinai where they entered into a covenant with the Lord. Covenantal laws and detailed prescriptions for the tabernacle (a portable sanctuary foreshadowing the Jerusalem Temple) and its service are followed by a dramatic episode of rebellion, repentance, and divine mercy. After the broken covenant is renewed, the tabernacle is constructed, and the cloud signifying God’s glorious presence descends to cover it. These events made Israel a nation and confirmed their unique relationship with God. The “law” (Hebrew torah) given by God through Moses to the Israelites at Mount Sinai constitutes the moral, civil, and ritual legislation by which they were to become a holy people. Many elements of it were fundamental to the teaching of Jesus as well as to New Testament and Christian moral teaching. The principal divisions of Exodus are: Introduction: The Oppression of the Israelites in Egypt The Call and Commission of Moses The Contest with Pharaoh The Deliverance of the Israelites from Pharaoh and Victory at the Sea The Journey in the Wilderness to Sinai Covenant and Legislation at Mount Sinai Israel’s Apostasy and God’s Renewal of the Covenant The Building of the Tabernacle and the Descent of God’s Glory upon It

The Book of Esther

The Book of Esther tells a story of the deliverance of the Jewish people. We are shown a Persian emperor, Ahasuerus (loosely based on Xerxes, 485–464 B.C.), who makes momentous decisions for trivial reasons, and his wicked minister, Haman, who takes advantage of the king’s compliance to pursue a personal vendetta against the Jews by having a royal decree issued ordering their destruction. The threat is averted by two Jews, Esther and Mordecai. Their influence and intervention allow the Jews to turn the tables on their enemies and rout their attackers. This deliverance is commemorated by the inauguration of the Jewish festival of Purim on the fourteenth and fifteenth of Adar (mid-February through mid-March). The book confronts the modern reader with important themes, the evils of genocide and racism. Esther’s character matures over the course of the narrative. As a girl she is recruited for the king’s harem because of her physical beauty. But at a key moment in the book, she rises to the challenge to risk her life for the salvation of her people. At that point, she transforms her status as queen from a position of personal privilege to one of power and public responsibility. Esther’s uncle, Mordecai, appears first as an adoptive father, whose solicitude for Esther leads him to the king’s gate, where he foils a plot to assassinate the king. When he learns of the edict against the Jews, he encourages Esther to confront the king. The book ends with Mordecai as the king’s chief minister.

The Herald of Eternal Night

The Herald of Eternal Night has risen. The Four Kingdoms are not what they use to be. The War of Usurpers ravaged the lands, and after thousands of years, true peace was finally brought to the realm. Or so they thought. Darkness brews, those in the shadows wait to strike, political intrigue and assassination are being plotted. A throne to be won, true borns, half-siblings, potential heirs, and Bastards, fight for what they believe is theirs. Unknowingly and unwittingly become pawns to a much larger scheme. A prophecy telling of a Deliverer, a Messiah, of Hope foreshadowed to be born through bloodshed. "On days of War, of fiery nights of the soul, consumed thy will, of Eternal Night. Hope born to you as bright as day, the Deliverer of Eirria, of Revelation's End, when Darkness reigns, redemption will mend. Call onto Lady Fate, anew, all shall be made. Death to die. War to rise. Life to be born. Thee made anew, while others wait for two. A Trinity to be brought before you. A Promised Messiah, born of sacrifice, of a King's blood and one not of love. This to be fulfilled to save thy life, a payment due, of Life, of Death, and of War too, of Blood and Flesh, of Love and Sacrifice, for all who wish to save Future, look to Past and Present, to pay thy price." All right reserved, any and all characters or places that resemble real-life examples are pure speculations or/and of coincidence. Elysium's Wrath

"Angel within my dreamscapes. Devil of my nightmares." That is what my love says to me... He speaks boldly and unabashed. A trait I have come to love most. 'I could be stuck in this moment forever and never tire!' I think to myself. He begins to lightly caress my naked flesh with the pads of his fingertips. My heart skips a beat when he starts sliding them downward. Stopping first at my taught pink buds standing erect from the type of attention this man has chosen to give to my body. He squeezes my left nipple, ever so lightly. Managing to bring forth a gasp swiftly followed by sounds unlike any that has fell from my mouth before. "mmmm," a moan escapes my lips. What is this male doing to me? He shifts, continuing the path he has set forth towards my aching core. Flattening his palm across my stomach, he sets the skin beneath ablaze. I arch my back in anticipation. Lips to taste the essence of my being, part. His tongue darting out. He slowly drags it further south. My pussy begins to throb even harder. His large palm moves to grip the the meat that makes up the globe that is my right cheek. He tightens and pulls on it a bit. Spreading me open, ever so slightly, I felt cold air meet wet flesh. Before my brain could register, the slick warmth of his tongue met with my cold exposure as he began hungrily eating my weeping core. Starting at the hole before moving up. Never releasing his tight grip on my backside. Keeping me with a feeling of being more open than ever. "Oh my god!" Flys forth from my being without permission followed swiftly by a loud, "FUCK!" ************************************************** My name is Elysium, I am this world's blessing. A gift bestowed upon it by the gods of old. A curse to some. That is me "..." A walking contradiction. And I could feel this as such, too. My constituents and I are working on a cleansing of sorts. With one single purpose. To purge. Bring forth a new era. So to speak. Most of our world's faithful have become warped and delusional. Their commitment and communication with the ancients, a falsehood. Nothing more. Twisted it has become, their once beautiful relationship with the divine. Leaving them disconnected, in a sick reality built upon lies. This betrayal must be paid in full with blood! And I will bear them deliverance for I have been chosen. I alone... Although, I do have my guides who offer me support along the way. And for that I am thankful!

The Book of Daniel

This book takes its name from its hero, who was allegedly among the first Jews deported to Babylon, where he lived at least until 538 B.C. Strictly speaking, the book does not belong to the prophetic writings but rather to a distinctive type of literature known as “apocalyptic,” of which it is an early specimen. Apocalyptic writing first appears about 200 B.C. and flourished among Jews and Christians down to the Middle Ages, especially in times of persecution. Apocalyptic literature has its roots in the older teaching of the prophets, who often pointed ahead to the day of the Lord, the consummation of history. For both prophet and apocalyptist there was one Lord of history, who would ultimately vindicate the chosen people. Apocalyptic also has roots in the wisdom tradition. Daniel has the gift of discernment from God. Greek wisdom (represented by the Babylonian “magicians and enchanters”) is ridiculed (see especially chaps. 2 and 5), whereas God reveals hidden things to faithful servants. This work was composed during the bitter persecution carried on by Antiochus IV Epiphanes (167–164 B.C.) and was written to strengthen and comfort the Jewish people in their ordeal. The persecution was occasioned by Antiochus’s efforts to unify his kingdom, in face of the rising power of Rome, by continuing the hellenization begun by Alexander the Great; Antiochus tried to force Jews to adopt Greek ways, including religious practices. Severe penalties, including death, were exacted against those who refused. The book contains traditional stories, which tell of the trials and triumphs of the wise Daniel and his three companions. The moral is that people of faith can resist temptation and conquer adversity. The stories bristle with historical problems and have the character of historical novels rather than factual records. What is more important than the question of historicity, and closer to the intention of the author, is the fact that persecuted Jews of the second century B.C. would quickly see the application of these stories to their own plight. There follows series of visions promising deliverance and glory to the Jews in the days to come. The great nations of the ancient world have risen in vain against the Lord; his kingdom shall overthrow existing powers and last forever; in the end the dead will be raised for reward or punishment. Under this apocalyptic imagery some of the best elements of prophetic and sapiential teaching are synthesized: the insistence on right conduct, the divine control over events, the certainty that the kingdom of God will ultimately triumph and humanity attain the goal intended for it at the beginning of creation. The arrival of the kingdom is a central theme of the gospels, where Jesus is identified as the human figure (or “Son of Man”) who appears in Daniel’s vision. The message in both parts of the first chapters is that history unrolls under the watchful eye of God, who does not abandon those who trust in him and will finally deliver and re-establish them. Moreover, it can be pointed out the same teaching in different symbolism; even describes the king’s dream as a “vision.” I hope that you all enjoy this book! God bless you

God of The Nephilims

In the beginning when men began to multiply, during the era of the first men after Lilith was barnished from Eden. A demon named Azazel who was barnished by the holy gods and sent down to earth married Lilith, and they gave birth to Valyris and Arine, Valyris was a hunter and he was great upon the earth, he later married a she demon Ashtheroth, and Arine married Kein. They are the descendants of the Nephilims. Their children the Nephilims oppressed humans for ages, humans cried, prayed to the holy gods in agony waiting for a deliverer but it seems the gods shot their ears from hearing and eyes from seeing the pain of the people. The worst was yet to come, the Nephilims were immortals because they lived hundreds of years and were Giants. For ages they ruled mankind with sorcery and wisdom their parents Valyris and Arine passed to them. After a thousand years passed, the holy gods summoned Lilith and Azazel to the high court, The court of the gods, as the name implies only gods were judged, Azazel, and Lilith were chained and thrown into the great deep, a prison made for only gods, a prison of darkness, a prison of nothingness As for their children Valyris and Arine, the holy gods cursed them with an everlasting curse. Valyris was cursed with a great curse. In the words of the gods "Valyris! Valyris!! Because you hunt both man and beast, and make yourself mighty on earth, you're cursed with the curse of the beast, as you hunt shall you be hunted. So Valyris was cursed the curse of wolves, Arine, the daughter of Azazel and Lilith played the harlot and taught men and women witchcraft, to drink human blood, and eat human flesh, to cast spells and make portions. She was beautiful, as beautiful as the sun, her hair white as wool and she had the eyes of the holy gods, red and blazing like fire. She was strong but not as strong as Valyris, and all these made her exalt herself above the holy gods. She bought the hearts of men through her sorcery and made men worship her. The holy gods cursed her with the curse of darkness, they said, " Arine because you look like the sun, and you have exalted yourself above everyone, the sun is your enemy." She will smite you, in darkness you shall dwell until the day you will be called. The holy gods left Valyris and Arine to rule the earth for the pledged repentance but they lied because both ruled humans with a strong hand, and the children of the brothers of Azazel, the demons were wicked. The world was full of wickedness only the strong survive, the weak were used as slaves. Valyris and the demons didn't spare mankind. To Valyris and Arine, it is a pay back to the holy gods. They looked for a deliverer but none was found so mankind lost hope, and started eating and drinking forgetting the holy gods.

And to top it all off that he had to give up his bed for a paying patient. But no. He gave it all up to take responsibility. And to ‘do the right thing’. Well fuck that noise. In front of all the deliverers of his bad news he ripped out all the needles slipped on some shoes and jumped out the open window. Follow Noah as he wakes up in his younger body and takes advantage of all his knowledge of the next 40 years whilst only looking out for number one and a friend he lost too soon. *first time writer, just a fan of the genre and thought I’d give it a go. No shits given if you don’t like it. Many shits given if you love it ;) Open to constructive criticism but let’s keep it PG. *basically it starts off as a reincarnation, what would you do differently sort of novel which will grow into a sci-fi space and new world adventure in later chapters. *might add some romance/r18 down the line if I get that far

LEGEND OF HOMO

The atmosphere within the academy was tense yet vibrant, as students from all corners of the continent competed in the rigorous exams to secure a coveted place within its hallowed halls. The grandeur of the academy, perched on an isolated island, stood as a testament to centuries of knowledge and tradition. However, amidst the trials and aspirations of the hopeful students, an ominous presence loomed on the horizon. Cracks, like thunderous echoes, shattered the tranquil air. The protective barriers surrounding the academy, crafted with ancient magic and reinforced through generations, splintered into countless fragments. Panic spread like wildfire among the students and faculty as they realized the unthinkable was happening - the academy was under attack. Andy, a name whispered in fear across the world, emerged as if conjured from nightmares . His presence was a harbinger of chaos and destruction, a man whose very name struck terror into the hearts of those who dared oppose him. Clad in dark armor that seemed to absorb light, Andy's eyes gleamed with a malevolent hunger as he surveyed the academy before him. Laughter, cold and mocking, echoed through the corridors of the academy. It was a sound that sent chills down the spines of even the bravest souls. With a casual wave of his hand, Andy summoned forth a manifestation of power that dwarfed the island itself. A colossal golden palm materialized in the sky, its sheer size making the academy appear insignificant in comparison. Gasps of horror escaped the onlookers as they realized the magnitude of the threat they faced. Frozen in fear, the students and faculty could only watch helplessly as the golden palm descended ominously towards the academy. The very ground trembled under its impending approach, threatening to crush everything in its path. Desperation hung thick in the air, a palpable fear that gripped the hearts of all who bore witness to this onslaught. Just as hope seemed lost, a figure emerged from the midst of the academy. A woman, her presence radiating with an aura of calm resolve, positioned herself between the island and the approaching doom. Her eyes, pools of unwavering determination, surveyed Andy with a mixture of defiance and pity. With a small sigh, the woman raised her hands. A surge of energy, ancient and potent, enveloped her in a protective barrier. The golden palm collided with the barrier with a deafening impact, sending shockwaves rippling through the air. Yet, the barrier held firm against the onslaught, deflecting the immense force with steadfast resilience. Andy's eyes narrowed into slits of fury as he witnessed his attack thwarted. With a snarl of rage, he lunged forward, intent on eliminating the obstacle that dared defy him. However, before he could reach the woman, she moved with astonishing speed and grace. With a swift gesture, she summoned forth a transportation portal of shimmering light. Caught off guard, Andy found himself ensnared within the portal's grasp. In an instant, he was whisked away from the academy grounds, leaving behind only echoes of his wrathful cries. The woman, the academy's principal, stood resolute amidst the aftermath of the failed assault, her expression betraying no hint of triumph or relief. The students and faculty, shaken but grateful for their deliverance, watched in awe as the principal addressed them with a voice as steady as the earth beneath their feet. "Remain calm," she instructed, her tone commanding respect and trust. "The danger has passed for now." Yet, even as her words sought to reassure, a sense of foreboding lingered in the air. Andy, the most feared criminal in the world, had been thwarted but not defeated. The battle had merely been postponed, and the academy now stood at a crossroads of uncertainty and apprehension. Meanwhile, in a remote and desolate corner of the world, Andy and the principal faced each other once more. Their clash was a symphony of martial prowess
