Going to see the basketball finals would not be on my top ten list of things to do to comfort myself but right now, even a stroll to the pig sty would be luxury. I need to get out of this hell hole ASAP and Mr Patrick's offer is right on time. Burrowing through the heap of my clothes which are all office clothes or wretched ones- that is a reflection of how my life has been; work work work and no play. After searching frantically for something decent to wear, I settle for a pair of baggy shorts and an old hand me down t-shirt. I quickly touch up my face and hair before dashing out of the house.
"I am ready!" I announced with a weird smile as I was not overly confident about my look.
"Sorry, but you look really gorgeous," Mr Patrick said in a sincere tone and that gave me a measure of comfort and confidence with a little red cheeks…
Mr Patrick and I arrived just about when the game was about to start and we made ourselves comfortable in our allocated seats. The stadium was a bit cold and it was almost as if Patrick was reading my mind as he quickly took off his coat and covered me with it and my cheeks heated up - embarrassed but grateful.
"Thank you," I said softly and he smiled warmly at me.
"You are welcome," he stated before relaxing his back on the chair…
The game kicked off and the two teams started chasing a large ball around the court and throwing it into the hung basket earning a cheer from the crowd. I really don't know much about basketball, hell. I know very little about any sports at all. Yeah, I am not a sports person but I do watch some games occasionally those days when my father's health wasn't an issue. I try to forget about my stupid step brother's actions from earlier and keep Liam, the new bane of my existence, at the back of my mind throughout the game, not until the announcement on the PA system.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a really special guest in the house. Billionaire, Playboy. Pretty boy Liam!," the announcer rambles through the speakers.
"I suggest you fellows hold your girlfriends and wives tightly because they might just not return home to you tonight,"
I roll my eyes in disgust and look away from the large screen displaying the hugglemonster's face flocked by a crowd of silly girls screaming their lungs out and drooling over him.
Damn! I came here to cool off but here he is again, the very thorn in my flesh
I catch Mr Patrick staring at me in amusement as I retch in disgust.
"What?", I ask, smiling sheepishly, feeling quite flushed that he caught me hating on everyone's favorite boy.
"What's with the expression? Liam is everybody's favorite, you know", he said.
I rolled my eyes again and laughed.
"Well, I'm not everybody. And some of us have better tastes. Besides, I have better issues to deal with than this fooling around", I replied and it dawned on me how bad he was meddling with my life even if I didn't acknowledge him.
"Wow! I have never heard any girl say that. I mean who wouldn't like Liam? He is super rich, dashingly handsome. He's every girl's dream." Mr Patrick continued showering Liam with praises and I just felt sick in the stomach.
"Oh give me a break he's...", my words trailed off. I had a rethink about if it was necessary to give out any information about what happened between Liam and I to Mr Patrick. I already had enough problems as it was, I didn't want to compound it further plus we are here to watch a game and not to talk about that fool!
"Anyway like I said before, I'm not every girl".
I shift my attention back to the game, who cares about pretty boy Liam.
After a few minutes of dribbling and dashing between the Big Ballers and the Bullfrogs, the commentators announced a fifteen minute break for spectator games. I leaned back in my chair, ready to be entertained.
"Um... I'll be right back", Mr Patrick said, standing up from his chair.
"Okay, no problem," I replied and my eyes went up to the VIP section where Liam was seated in but I couldn't really see anything as it was far away.

LIAM
The game was beginning to get boring for me. I preferred to watch one of those sexy petite cheerleaders do a more 'interesting' version of those dance moves. In fact, I could already picture that sexy little thing leading the Bigballers troupe in my bed. There's something about her that made me want to get on that stage and shoot my machine gun deep in her little throat but of course I couldn't do that in front of thousands of people. I beckoned for my assistant to come forward.
"Get me that blondie", I said. "The one in blue leading the dance."
"Yes boss", he answered as he walked away to obey my instruction.
For someone who likes to flirt a lot, I should have a sexy little bitch as my secretary that I can toy with anytime I feel like but because of my dad, the big dog, I can't.
"Um babe I gotta take this call", Felix said to his girlfriend as he got up and left.
"Okay hun, don't be long", Hela chirped.
Foxy bitch, I knew she had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to be alone with me but I was not going to give her what she wanted. As soon as Felix was out of sight, she hopped on the nearest opportunity to flirt with me.
I was not looking in her direction but I could tell how hungrily she was drinking me up in her mind. And shortly after she leaned forward and whispered in my ear.
"You look so sexy in navy blue", she said seductively, biting my ear gently.
I fumbled with my phone as she spoke. To any neutral onlooker, she probably looked like an innocent friend cracking a joke with her boyfriend's bestie. Seeing that I was purposely ignoring her by using my phone she brought out hers. I hope she got the memo.
A few minutes later, Felix was back.
"Wow babe! We haven't had sex for like what two hours? But you want to get down with me again, so soon?" He said beaming with smiles.
I wondered why I was privy to this. This was a lady that was flirting with me just five minutes ago, now she wants to shove herself in the nearest dick. She's hopelessly for the streets!
She pulled him by his collar and gave him a kiss.
"I want you so bad baby", she said.
"Get a room you guys!" I said, trying to hide my annoyance.
I shifted my attention back to the game until his phone rang again.
"Sorry, gotta take this", Felix said again and scampered off.
