Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Drilling for Fire

Sophia's hand worked its way to the bed, and after a fumble, snap. The entire room was quickly plunged into darkness.

Lucas glanced at the obstructive bathrobe on Sophia with some disgust, why was it made of such rough material, tomorrow he would make sure to remind Noah to change it all.

He roughly pulled off the robe, then leaned his head against her shoulder, the smooth yet soft and delicate touch of the skin made his whole body comfortable.

Sofia couldn't help but shiver, squeezing her eyes shut but unable to sleep.

"Why did you seduce me?" Lucas' cold voice came from the back of her neck.

"What woman wouldn't be seduced by a man like the president?" Sophia still had her back to him, afraid that if she turned around she would be seen through by him.

"Tell the truth."

Lucas said, his hand slowly probing into the side of Sofia's leg.

This woman, who looked thin and lean, had breasts and hips, and that voluminous waist, as if she could be cupped in one hand, with all the meat growing where it should.

"I'm telling the truth ah, President." Sofia replied sweetly.

Lucas' hand stroked back and forth across her inner thigh, and the next second, he pinched a piece of soft flesh on her leg.

"Last chance."

"Ouch..." cried Sophia in pain, unable to help herself.

"Say it."

At this moment, she knew that if she didn't tell the truth, she would die here immediately.

It would be a death anyway, so let's try.

With this thought, Sophia rolled over and faced Lucas, reaching around his neck.

In the next second, she kissed his lips.

Having never had a first kiss before, her kiss was raw, awkward even.

Suddenly tasting Sophia's glistening, sweet-smelling lips again, Lucas's strong hands clasped the back of her head in a death grip and returned the kiss with even more ferocity and abandon.

He rolled over on top of her.

"..."

Another extreme night.

...

Sophia woke up the next morning feeling as if it didn't hurt as much as it did yesterday.

Was it the ointment working, or Lucas' intentional gentleness, or had she acclimated herself to it?

Thinking about it Sophia hurriedly shook her head.

She would rather believe that it was the Imperial Hospital's superior medical skills.

It was probably too early in the morning and Lucas beside her was still asleep.

Sofia moved closer to him and scrutinized him, thinking it was all so incredible.

The man with this impeccably handsome face, how many women in the Imperial Capital wanted to climb into his bed, but in the end, lying next to him, it was his mediocre self.

Why? Was it because she was obedient and a better sleeper?

When would Lucas leave her alone.

The thought of another million dollars in her bank account yesterday made Sofia feel bad all over.

She felt like it was a trade, that she had sold herself.

If she met a man she loved and who truly loved her in the future, would she have the courage to tell them about it?

No, she wanted to return the money.

But what fool would have trouble with money?

That's right, she, Sophia, was that fool.

Thinking of this, she picked up the cell phone that was placed on her bedside and transferred the two million back to Lucas as it was.

Ding.

The beep of a text message made Lucas open his eyes. After glancing at his phone, he sat up.

The covers slid off of him, exposing his broad shoulders and narrow waist, and the well-proportioned abs.

"Secretary Sophia, transferring money to me at this hour, am I a duck?"

Seeing Lucas' gloomy face, Sophia suddenly regretted it.

"No President, you're giving too much, I'm overwhelmed by it."

Lucas stared at her face as if he wanted to see through her.

This woman...if she didn't ask for money, did she ask for sex?

Or perhaps she was trying to catch a fish, preparing to put a long line to catch a big fish, and eventually marry into the Lucas family as a young grandmother?

He hooked his lips and smiled. Interesting, let's play with you then.

Seeing that Lucas actually laughed, there was a gangly air in that smile, and after being around him for so long, Sofia immediately realized that something big was wrong.

Lucas stared at Sofia's face, veiled, she looked more and more pink, as if she could pinch out water.

That palm-sized little face had moaned softly underneath him last night, and this fine morning, he was instantly animalistic again.

How could he let her go?

"Since Secretary Sophia gave all the money, I can't take it for nothing."

Sophia's body tightened, clutching the quilt and instinctively taking two steps back, "Then...then give it back to me, I'm not giving it back."

Lucas got up and moved closer to her, the covers slipping off his body completely.

Even though she had seen it many times before, the sight of him naked in this broad daylight still made Sophia's face instantly redden to her ears.

Lucas pressed into her body and gently cupped her soft little face:

"Good girl."

...

After washing up and waiting for Lucas to have breakfast, Sofia planned to make a trip home. After all, she hadn't even changed her clothes from yesterday and hadn't brought any makeup with her, so it was too inappropriate to go straight to work like this.

"President, can I take an hour off this morning? I want to go back and change my clothes."

It's been two days in a row since she didn't sleep at home, Sofia simply wanted to take the whole day off and have a good sleep, it's better to wake up and realize that everything was a dream.

Lucas was sitting on the couch looking at his tablet when he nodded.

Already changed into a clean suit and with his bangs brushed up with hairspray on his forehead, Lucas was back to looking like the president of LU Group.

Sophia reached for the door and had just stepped outside when she saw Noah and Robert sitting on the couch in the lounge at the entrance to the presidential suite.

"Secretary Sophia?"

Both men were taken aback at the sight of Sophia.

She was a little embarrassed. Coming out of Lucas' suite in the middle of the morning and saying that nothing had happened, she didn't believe herself.

Robert whispers to Noah, "Where's that woman from yesterday?"

Noah: "Need you ask?"

Early this morning, the two of them had made a point of arriving at the Imperial Hotel and waiting at the door of their suite to see what tricks Lucas, who had initiated the request for a woman for the first time, had pulled out of the bag.

It was a good thing that Lucas did play a big game and put on a straight up transformation.

Robert looked at Sophia's face, she had no makeup on, her long hair was casually draped over her shoulders, and those big eyes under her bangs sparkled with a seductive light. Unpowdered but sweeter and more moving than those women with heavy makeup.

No wonder Lucas couldn't hold it.

"Noah, Robert, what a coincidence? The president is in the room, I'll bring you in." Sophia revealed a professional smile.

"Hey, no need, we are both just curious, it's okay to ask you," Robert's eyes revealed cunning, "How many times did Lucas last night?"

Sofia felt her head explode, she just wanted to find a crack she could drill down.

Noah gently pushed Robert, "Secretary Sofia, don't pay any attention to him, there's nothing going on, we'll leave first."

Just then, the door to the room was opened and Lucas leaned against the side of the door with his hands in his pockets.

He opened his lips slyly, "Five times, counting this morning, a total of seven times."

Sophia was instantly petrified. All she could remember was Lucas wanting it over and over and finally she was so tired that she had total amnesia.

Robert's mouth dropped open, "Holy shit Lucas, where are you drilling wood for fire?!"

"And the night before, want to hear about it?"

Sophia didn't think she had the face to listen to any more of their conversation.

"President, Noah, Robert, you guys talk, I'm leaving!" After saying that she fled and rushed into the elevator.
